This is my last post for 2007, since I'll be going on a trip tomorrow (winter break began yesterday) and I won't have access to a computer, let alone to Internet.
So, I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and lots of parties! Safe ones, of course ^^ And don't exaggerate with that champaign, I did once and it wasn't pleasant ^^"

Uh, never thought I'd be posting on Wednesday, but here it is! ^^" Thank you, those who commented on my last post! I think the structure of my posts will be: reply to comments, artistic section and random thought/thought of the day. Maybe I'll throw in another section, "Life", whenever I live something that's worth mentioning XD So, let's begin!

Kelsey: You should definitely see 'The Phantom of the Opera', it's marvelous (at least the 2004 version, that's the one I saw)! I like the Layla vector too, it was an easy one, but I've grown fond of it! <3

Special section - AnimePaper grading system and TheO issues
Thank you for the nice words, everyone! *hugs* Well, it is true that the rating system is subjective, because mods rate the gallery items, but some wallpapers are very good (a lot of effort was put into them) and barely get a B rating! That's because the mods like simpler walls and the likes! And call the other ones "trendwhore". Well, I agree some are, like the overstarry ones, but not all of them!

Anyway, moving on to TheO issues. I've watched the video for the Vibrant Version, and I have a few questions: will layouts like mine still work in this version? And will mods do a better job in controlling what items get accepted into the gallery? I'd really like to have a higher quality gallery here! Don't we have some pride?! We aren't like 4Chan!

School issues and [not] skipping classes
I'm so envious of the ones who are already enjoying their winter break! I still have this week to go... But that's not very difficult to handle, thankfully.
However, there were some issues regarding the Maths term paper. It was very difficult! Now alsmot everyone in the class (including me) are praying to get a 4/10! Think of a teacher who does simple exercises in class but gives us 4-lines-long exercises! Because that's how long one of them was. Of course, we protested and wanted something to be done about it, but nothing's been done yet *sighs*

In other news, on Monday I had Spanish class, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Before that I had Chemistry, but we ended up skipping that (I don't know the exact reason but hey, we didn't do Chemistry! XD) and had to stay an hour and a half (the news arrived during the Romanian Language & Literature class, and the teacher hadn't come to class), just for a class of Spanish! Hope that doesn't happen on Friday - it's Friday, who in their right mind would go to school on the last day?!

Art section: catching rippers in the act!
I haven't announced it officially here, but I'm taking a break from vectoring and (maybe) walling (if I don't get requests), and I'm going to concentrate more on drawing :] My latest fan art is on the right, if you want to check it out :]

These days I have caught 2 rippers: Chiseyume from here and Rina00 from Minitokyo! Chiseyume used a wallpaper he/she ripped from Minitokyo as a background for one of her wallpapers. I told her to take it down or else I would report her. She didn't take it down (she commented on one of my wallpapers, saying she doesn't care about what I said, and that she'll contiune doing her wallpapers -that was in Spanish! and it wasn't even gramatically correct Spanish!), so it got deleted *snicker* And the other girl was ripping wallpapers like mad, what can I say.

I might start vector-walling again, I've got my eyes on a Princess Tutu screenshot for a wallpaper :] It will be an illustration of the song "Once Upon a December", whch got me into watching Princess Tutu, after seeing an AMV with it :]

Yay, it's December! And, as I predicted, everyone commented in December XD Thank you for the comments, I really appreciate them! And for the encouragements, of course! I made it through this week thanks to you, my friends! It was full of tests, but it's not like we hadn't expected it (for example, we were supposed to take 1/2 tests in Maths this week, since we had postponed it for almost 2 weeks!) I didn't do too badly, and I hope to get a good mark :]

New layout! <3<3
I love it! The moment I finished watching The Phantom of the Opera, this morning, I knew I had to do something to show my appreciation! And this layout was born, about 2 hours ago (it's 9:15 p.m. as I'm typing)! Of course, I made it with image slices, which didn't turn up right, so I had to slice the images again and update the links etc. >_< But I think it's worth it, I love this film! Oh, and as you could already see (if your speakers, if any, are turned on) there's also music! There are 2 songs, which are my personal favorite from the soundtrack; the first one is "The Music of the Night" (sung by Gerard Butler, the Phantom) and the second is "The Phantom of the Opera" (the main theme, sung by Gerard Butler and Emily Rossum). Do you like it? ^^ (the layout)

Very irritated! Wallpaper issue resurfaces!"
Sounds like the title of a Sailor Moon episode XD Anyway, this post's complaint is about Anime Paper and their grading system. First of all, I'll say I've submitted all my vector wallpapers there (those that are also in this gallery) and the most I've gotten is a C rating (the highest is SSS, the lowest is D, I think). The thing is, I submitted the Princess Tutu wallpaper there, a few days ago, and someone submitted a wallpaper at the same time (no, not a ripper). I won't give names, but that person's wallpaper was brushwork and a PNG and got a B rating. How the Hell can a low-effort thing get a B rating and a wallpaper I spent 2 months on get a C- rating?! Mine was entirely vectored! I'm upset. The only reason I submit my wallpapers there is to make them accessible to fans, not to compete with anyone there.
I won't go into details about TheO too, it would be too bothersome and futile >,<

Um, not a lot of interesting things have happened this week... I finished a Layla (Kaleido Star) vector: click here to see/download it! Please tell me what you think, if you view it ^^

Yay, November's almost through! Of course, I suppose many will read this post after the 1st of December! Um, first of all, I'd like to thank Kelsey, Magnus and Lory for commenting on my previous post <3 I'm happy you like the layout (yes, I won't be at peace if I don't credit you, Lory, I don't know anything about CSS and I used your codes! so you deserve credit) and I'm sorry I haven't been visiting lately! Next week I won't be able to visit much either, I have a test every day! @_@ Thank you for the comments on my wallpaper and fan art as well! I <3 you all! ^^

Unfortunately it's true. Like I said above, I'll have a test each day, next week! *stressed out* If I can make it through, I'll be the happiest person alive! Here it goes: Physics (Monday), Geography (maybe) and History (Tuesday), Computers (Wednesday), Maths (Thursday - maybe), term paper in Romanian Literature (Friday). I'm not sure if the Maths test will be about algebra or trigonometry, but I sure hope it's algebra, it's a lot easier!



And to lighten up the atmosphere, aside from the song (which you can download by clicking the link at the top of the post), I'll tell you what happened today! As some of you might know, today is Saint Andrew's Day, and I have 2 girls in my class by the name of Andrea (who, by the way, are desk mates, sitting in front of me and we form some kind of group together ^^ we get along really well). Me and Nico thought of writing a song for them and they loved it! The base we used was the song Fell in love with an alien by The Kelly Family ^^ They loved it and thanked us a lot <3 Then the 4 of us went outside (it was 6 p.m., night and there were 3 degrees outside!) and "danced" in the school yard ^_^ Or rather monkeyed around and got laughed and pointed at (positively, not offensively!), so this day was a success!

It's getting long, so I'll end it here ^^ I suggest you listen to the song at night, it's very calming! And I think you will like it, Lory, it's from an old Kandia (chocolate brand, if it isn't very popular) commercial :] Hope everyone has an awesome weekend, and expect me around your pages! ^^

Ack, I just noticed my wallpapers are so colorful, it's painful! But I'm tired of seeing monotone wallpapers (especially the "tiny picture slapped onto simple bg" cliche! Doesn't that annoy you? If I could do it, I'd report each and every one I see >_< I'd be known as the Inquisitor! +.+ (sounds good! :D )

Aaanyway, I made a new layout! Isn't it cute? <3 I've seen the scan around AnimePaper and adored it instantly! Of course, there are days when I go on a total download spree and spend tens of credits (MT)/papers (AP) on scans! Recently, I've been downloading Code Geass scans of C.C. I don't know what she does but I like her green hair :3
Back to the layout. I decided to make the post area wider because some of you complained that posts look bigger in a tall box XD I must admit, the layout looks better like this (structure-wise). Um, I don't know what else to say ._. Life? Works for me ^^ On Monday me and the whole class "ditched" the last 3 classes to go to a play (in the high school) in which actors from the National Theater appeared! The play was called "A stormy night", by Ion Luca Caragiale, a Romanian writer. Of course, they adapted it to the requirements of this age, so it was very fun to watch! To describe the play in a few words: a woman, Veta, is married to a strict but naive policeman. Her sister, Ziţa (pronounced "Zee-tza") is in love with an unknown man and keeps wanting to go to a restaurant just to meet him there (she goes with V. and V.'s husband). One night, while the policeman isn't home, the unknown man "visits" V. and proclaims his love to her, thinking she is Z. (the lights are dim and he can't see her face clearly). When he realizes he mistook V. for Z., he begs V. to help him get out, since V.s husband had returned home and sensed someone else was in the house. After a lot of trouble (including being almost shot by the policeman, out of jealousy), the unknown man is revealed to be a well-known and appreciated reporter. Everything ends happily ^^
Now comes the fun part: when the "unknown" man enters V.'s house, he approaches the bed (V. was half asleep) and starts singing "You can leave your hat on" by Joe Cocker! (naturally, this was added, it wasn't in the original play!) We were all laughing our butts off at that moment! (Forgot to mention the actor was wearing a Zorro-like cape and mask!) Then he tied V. hands and legs to the bed XD That was fun, I hope we get to see something like that again! (It was perverted as Hell! maybe that's why I loved it XD)

Hello, hello! ^-^ Thank you for the comments on both my post and my recent wallpapers! *hugs* A lot of you were curious about the Elodia case (a missing lawyer woman, for those who aren't familiar); unfortunately, there isn't a site for her (not that I know of anyway, but feel free to look for one XD) Lory, that's John's story indeed, but there are a lot of other details, related especially to his former wife >_< I loved Saw IV precisely because it was the most melodramatic one of the series! It had some good traps as well, of course ^^ I don't know about Orlando Bloom being naked in it (maybe he was in a scene I didn't see), but Brad Pitt sure was :D I'm not upset about the SweetD channel thing, I found it funny actually XD Kelsey, I hope PS works, and it's really no problem, believe me! I don't really look for textures when watching movies, I pay attention to the music and the acting, the actors' facial expressions more.

No tests! Again?! O_o
Eh, we ended up not taking the Biology test! Instead, we have the term paper next week! (on Tuesday) And we had a surprise test in Maths! We were supposed to take it next week, but the teacher simply came in the classroom and started to write the subjects on the blackboard! Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Funny (and stupid) stuff on TV XD
1. A person who claims to be the relative of Stephan the Great (one of the leaders of Moldova in the 16th-17th century, if I remember correctly) and wants a whole section of the country -_-"
2. "The dead body was found in an advanced state of drunkenness". Need I say more? *cracks up*

Movies
The Elephant Man I finally finished watching it! It was very beautiful, but also very sad. I didn't cry, but my heart was close to stopping to beat because of the emotions. It was an honest film, and honesty is what shocks me the most in films, to tell the truth.
A Beautiful Mind Stunning. I was left speechless when I saw what that man was going through. I do believe this is Russel Crowe's best performance.
The Phantom of the Opera I'm going to watch it on Tuesday! I can't wait!

WARNING! This is going to be a funny post!
Damn slow internet connection! *kicks computer* Anyway, how has everyone been doing? *^-^* This week's been like a long holiday for me, there were basically no classes. Lory, is the SweetD channel thing in a good way? XD I still remember tagging you... *whistles innocently* And I adored that Jack Sparrow quote XD *cracks up* I didn't even remember that one, though it was one of the funniest parts in the movie ("Nobody move! Dropped me brain!!" *laughs insanely*) Kelsey, you'd think the same about that lawyer woman if you knew this: they've been discussing her case for +54 days, from 11 p.m. to 2-3 a.m. EVERY DAY!! I can't find that much to say about this case!
Latest news: now they think her husband didn't kill her and that she's run off to Germany >_>

So, picking up where I left off: Nico did come to my house, but on Friday, not Saturday, since the whole celebration thing was over pretty soon and since we were bored to death we went home. First we went to look for a book, then we went to McDonald's (I wonder what my Spanish teacher would've said, had she found be there *gulp*) After that, we went to my place to watch Saw III. Needless to say I was drooling at the quality XD When you watch CAM movies, you learn to appreciate DVD-rip ones >.> Anyway, I paid attention to more details and Saw IV made a little more sense to me. Dammit, you gotta pay attention to details in these movies! Lory, I can't blame you for not liking them, but if you watch Saw IV and know John's story, you'll feel sorry for him (at least that's what I felt like).

How did the high school day go, you ask? It sucked. Big time. At least our activity. We had some posters which said "Heh, another one!" (as in, another sucker) to greet our visitors with (each class had a classroom for an activity, and a certain amount of time). We bought some treats, pretzels and stuff and were handing them to people when they came in. I can't believe a girl and I actually went around the high school with fliers to attract "customers"! In the end, it was lame. Another class organized a "cafeteria"! When me and a few other classmates went it, it was empty. Half an hour later, you couldn't even stand in there!

I am lame ._. I haven't finished watching The Elephant Man yet! Though I have watched Chaplin, with Anthony Hopkins, and it was very enjoyable!

I can't believe I've got 2 tests next week T_T Physics (Monday) and Biology (Tuesday)! I hate taking tests. But we've been postponing them for too long. It's gotta happen -_-"

Final word: when me and Nico were watching Troy, there was a sequence with a fleet attacking a city. We were like "Sparta's got a fleet?! O_O" From what our History teacher told us, Sparta had an army and Troy had a fleet. Whatever. Next thing was "the beach of Troy" (hysterical laughs - you know why XD can't believe it's actually ME who started it!) Then we were "OMG Brad Pitt's naked!! <3<3<3 And with women around him!! >,<" Rabid fangirls much? XD Oh, and I'm currently a fan of relationships between Louis, Lestat and Armand from Interview with the vampire! <3<3<3 I just LOVE them to pieces!

Hello, my dear friends! Thank you for the comments on my last post! Thanks for the awesome encouraging words, Lory! *big hug* I like both types of literature as well, but lately I've been reading more realistic ones, so I'm currently drawn to that type :] I'll be looking forward to your wallpapers, glad to know you're back to walling! Kelsey, that n00b finally left me alone after I told her how to use a filter, then "do the same for the other ones!".

Here's the new layout! It features John Kramer a.k.a. Jigsaw from the movie series "Saw". He's my idol at the moment <3 *people slowly back off* What, I love the guy! He's intelligent and a talented architect, not to mention he can build some kick-ass traps with only junk!

Currently, some local TV station is running a campaign to find a supposedly murdered lawyer woman. Honestly, those people have been discussing that matter for over 52 days! Don't you find it annoying when people concentrate on small issues, rather than on bigger ones? I know I do; there are a lot of problems, yet they choose to handle something completely unimportant. That kind of relates to the talk we had in Psychology class today, concerning what regime we'd like the country to have. A lot said they'd rather have dictatorship than this democracy. I didn't say anything, I'm not that experienced in politics to speak.

On a lighter note, I watched some more movies since the last post :]
- Interview with the vampire I loved it, and I cried, even though it's the second time I saw it. And Tom Cruise is starting to look cute XD I hated him when I first watched the movie.
- Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind Can a movie be more touching than this? It was beautiful, I'm very glad I saw it. 2 people had recommended it, and I recommend it to everyone :] Jim Carrey is in his best role, in my opinion.
- Central do Brasil (Central Station) I don't remember if I've mentioned it before, but it's on my favorite films list :]
Aside from these, I'm also planning to see The Phantom of the Opera (2004), Volver, The Elephant Man (with Sir Anthony Hopkins <3) and Pink Floyd: The Wall (again!).
This is something interesting: Nico, my best friend, had watched Saw before, but doesn't remember much from it. Last Saturday I invited her over to make the posters (by the way, our classmates loved them!). After we finished with them, I convinced her to watch Saw II. Thank God I had the DVD-rip version! DVD-rip is love <3 Anyway, she liked it, and she might be coming over this Saturday to watch Saw III!

Most certainly most of you are saying "is it over yet?" by this point. Sorry to disappoint you, but it isn't XD Today was a pretty good day, we were supposed to have a test in Biology, but we begged the teacher and she agreed to postpone it until next week ^^ After that, our head teacher is ill and she didn't come to school, so we begged the Maths teacher to let us go home (we had 2 classes of Maths after 2 classes with our head teacher) and he did ^^ I'm looking forward to the next 2 days, when everyone will do nothing (high school's day)!

Art-wise, I haven't really continued any of them except for the Sola vector. I hope to get it done by Christmas >_> Sorry, but no wallpaper for this post. Maybe I'll upload one later, if I'm in the mood to make one :]

Well well, how has Halloween been for everyone? Mine was just an ordinary day. Yup, I have no life -_-" But I did bring that hand to school (again), and what better way to scare anyone than to drop it on their notebooks while they're studying? XD So, this is going to be a relatively long post, since I haven't posted since... *looks* ...Monday lol.

[N00b alert: there's a girl annoying me on Yahoo! Messenger, she wants me to explain PS to her @_@ All she knows is how to cut pictures, and she tells me "I want to do some effects". I ask her "like what?", and she says "I dunno, anything" *angry, lifts finger and presses on the nice Ignore button XD* If she wants me to teach her how to vector, I'll go mad!]

Lol I know a lot of you might already be freaking out upon seeing the image in my layout! He's *points to the title of the page* from the movie series Saw. Reason for layout? I just saw Saw 4 and I'm an avid fan again (if I ever stopped being one lol)! He's my idol <3 Maybe I'll feature a MyO layout section at my site! And I'm currently obssessed with Tukiji Nao (Green Glass)'s artwork! It's stunning!

Question time! Today's question is: do you have a question you'd like to ask me? Anything at all XD

This week's been fun, especially during Romanian Language and Literature class. We had to decide on a theme to debate (we had 4, but in the end we stuck with 3 of them). We're 24 in the class now, a girl's out of town, so we were divided into 3 teams of 8. These were divided in 2 observers, 3 supporters and 3 adversaries. My team's theme was "Realistic literature vs. fantasy literature". I picked "realistic", and I was chosen to open the debate and sustain all the arguments! I'm scared *cowers behind the door* I like debating, but I don't like the fact that I'll be doing most of the work ._.

Else, I'm still not done with the Princess Tutu wallpaper and the Layla vector (oh yeah, I was working on a Kaleido Star vector as well). Moreover, I've begun vectoring a Sola scan as well! Here's a preview of what I'm doing (yay, new Windows theme!):

That's a lot, huh? XD I postpone things so much, I'm lucky if I get these done by Christmas!

I'm running out of stuff to say ._. Oh, and I also have to get some advertisements ready by Monday, it's the Day of my high school and we're planning something. I just remembered I have a new A3-sized drawing I want to submit! Then I remembered my computer went crazy and I lost all the scans ;_; Damn, I lost even some very rare pictures I scanned from a book I borrowed from someone!
Oh well, I'm not in the mood to scan and piece together something, so the wallpaper will do ^^ Kelsey, thank you again for the comment, I managed to see it before I updated! I'm happy you liked it! *glomps*

Guess I've bored people enough for today/this week. I'll run along now and get to work on the layout ^^ Maybe I'll put it up tomorrow. Completely, that is. So don't be scared if my site's messed up, it's a trial-and-error world! XD

P.S. I finished watching Yami to Boushi to hon no Tabibito and I love it! Though the pictures don't show Lilith like she really is... She appears serious in the pictures, while she's cheerful and childish (sometimes). More comments next time!

Woot, the MyO and TheO are back online! No, they aren't dead lol XD Praise Adam and his non-sleeping abilities! *praises*
When I saw the blank page on Saturday (or was it Friday?) I had a "Oh no, not here too ;_;" expression on my face (aside from the regular "O_O wtf?! It's blank!!"). That's because, as some may know, I had a problem with FileLodge (a file hosting site) a few months ago. Now that I mention it, I also had problems with FileXoom. And I am NOT going to move 100 wallpapers from FileDen if that crashes as well! >:O

Ahem, in other news, I decided to make this post shorter, like Sesshy's XD Instead, here's some music and 2 nice little videos (they're 1 and a half minutes each XD) to calm everyone down lol
