Mood: crazy, confused, exhausted...

Artsy project
Ha ha ha! I hereby inform everyone that I have gone mad! Yes, mad with vectoring! This current vector is a completely spontaneous project, kind of "see-picture-and-decide-to-immediately-vector-it". Screenshots are below for you personal enjoyment and my personal, self-inflicted, sadistic torture:

I hate that dress. I love it to death, but I hate it too, if that makes any sense. I'm too stressed out, too old for this T_T I spent a day on the outline, and I thought I could cheat my way out of coloring with the Pen Tool and chose the selection option. Which turned out to be a fiasco, of course *slaps self until she passes out* So now I have to redo everything! ;_; Those dress folds are such a pain, but I like how they came out ^_^
I was supposed to vector a Sailor Neptune picture though... ^^"

Ah, feels good to be back online! No, I still don't have my monitor, but I go to my mom's office about once in 2 days, and I have Internet access there! And I can still edit my web sites and other pages from here -note that I changed the layout and plan to update the other sites as well! I feel like an evil genius, controlling everything from a (not so) comfortable distance *laughs* I don't have Photoshop, though *cries* And I've been trying to download the trial for days, and it won't download properly *cries even more* Not fair!

Movies! and anime
For a few days I've corrupted my friend Mary into watching Princess Tutu! ^_^ Now we're watching the series together, and she likes it! Unfortunately, she can't download the episodes too quickly, but I have them on DVD, so it's OK :)
Last Sunday and yesterday I watched Lawrence of Arabia, and I must say it was fantastic! I don't usually enjoy watching films about war, but the old ones are special. I see why it was so popular. It's one of those representative films you have to see in your lifetime, in my opinion. So go see it, if you haven't ^_^ I guarantee you'll like it.

More movie rants!
I'm a bit disappointed of the movies made nowadays. Maybe the old ones (made before the 90s) were better. Producers didn't need to flash out tons of special effects to get people's attention. Movies made nowadays are packed with SFX and don't necessarily need to have a plot. That, I deeply dislike, because the plot of a movie is very important to me. Maybe the world has already told all its stories, maybe there's nothing new left to say. Everything has been done before.

Fun stuff now!
OK, so now you have to name movie cliche's you can think of! Here are mine:
- Look around all you want, the killer's always behind you.
- Blondes never survive horror movies. (no offence)
- From a group of teens, a guy and a girl (if not couple, they end up together anyway) always survive.
- Old people don't die from the killer's hands in horror movies; only teens do.
- Bad guys always want to rule the world or destroy it.
- Main characters don't die; if they do die, they are resurrected or come back as spirits to aid the "main main" character in the decisive battle.
I'm out of inspiration ^^" Your turn!

I've already got to a few sites, but I promise I'll visit everyone! Listening to: Scorpions - Wind of change

Well, I'm here to announce that I won't be online as much as I used to, because there was a problem with my monitor, and now it's gone for repairs *sighs* Now I'm writing from my mom's office, and I probably will for the next few days (maybe even weeks).

So sorry, but I won't be able to visit as often as I used to. Please understand me :( I wish I could, but I can't. Hope the monitor's not screwed for goo though.

One last crazy thought: today I watched Tokio Hotel's video "Monsoon" while randomnly surfing the channels on my TV set. First thought: "hey, there's Billa!" (common joke between me and Nico, "a" is a particle usually used in the end of feminine names in Romanian), then: "gosh, if this were sung by Ville Valo, it would sound so heavenly!". Sorry if I offended any TH fans out there, but I don't like TH at all -after their first single, a lot of clones apeared in my former school: girls wearing TH T-shirts and pretending to be emo etc. Maybe I'm just too twisted for this reality XD

Hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to get to sites, but I don't have high hopes about it. Thank you very much for the comments on my last post, I really appreciate it! I love you all, and may you have a great week! *hugs everyone*

Last thought: don't view my site, or as a matter of fact any site, under the resolution of 800 x 600. It sucks. I know because I'm forced to use it right now X-P 1152 x 864 owns my soul.

I know I'm going to get a lot of bad looks and comments on this post, but oh well... I'll ask these questions first:
1. What do people find interesting about Kingdom Hearts? I'm curious about it and I'd really like to know.
2. Why are all the Naruto fangirls off the face of the planet madly in love with Sasuke? Personally, I've watched a few episodes and don't find him hot at all.
3. What exactly had you interested in the Harry Potter movies (if you watched them)? I can't find anything.

Complaint
If you're not an HP fan, you can skip this.
Ok, now, I watched HP 5 with my friend Nico, and we both were bored to death when watching it. They skipped a lot of important plot elements, and Nico said she wouldn't have understood anything had I not been there to explain it to her. I hate it when producers leave out important elements: why was Kreacher introduced if they didn't show his role? Why did Neville steal Dobby's part when discovering the secret room? Why didn't they give more explanations in the end, with Harry and Dumbledore's talk? It could have been quite a movie, had they produced it well. I was very disappointed with it and sorry to have wasted that time of my life I will never get back. Producers, you screwed up big time!

New anime!
On a more cheerful tone, today I finished watching Princess Tutu. One word: beautiful. It is about a duck who one day sees a sad prince (Mytho) dancing nearby her pond. Saddened by the sad look in his eyes, the duck wishes to bring a smile back to his face.

This is when Drosselmeyer makes his entrance. He is the writer of the story and narrator, everyone else being characters whose fates he controls as he pleases. He offers the duck the chance to fulfill her wish, and so she becomes a girl named Ahiru (which means "duck"), attending Mytho's ballet school.

However, Mytho, Rue (his girlfriend) and Fakir (his best friend) are all the reborn protagonists of an old story Drosselmeyer never got to finish writing: the Prince, The Raven Princess and the Kinght who protected the Prince. To seal away the Raven who wanted to destroy the world, the Prince sealed away his own heart by piercing his heart with his sword and scattering the pieces throughout the world.

That's where Ahiru's power is of use. Not only can she transform into a girl, but also into Princess Tutu, who has the power to return the Prince's heart pieces to him.

I recommend it, because of the beautiful ballet music (original music!) they used, and because Ahiru can also be very funny a times: if she says "Quack" while she's a human girl, she turns back into a duck, and if she gets into water when she's in her duck form, she turns back into a girl (but naked, so she has to carry her clothes around with her!)

Projects
Up to now, I have reported 8 wallpapers, and 7 were deleted >:] From the top downloads, too! I ish evil. I've got bored, though. Time to concentrate on some more vectors! Mwahahaaa! *evil laughter continues for about 10 minutes* I was browsing through Minitokyo and found some wallpapers there. The next moment, I remembered the same wallpapers had been posted by MyO members! So, what else to do, except report happily! From now on, I am officially on a campaign of reporting plagiarism around MyO! *heroic pose* Who's with me? Basically, all there is to do is be against plagiarism and stuff XD

Sorry for the lack of a proper introduction, but I was feeling good at the moment XD I really did find a few wallpapers, though. Anyway, there isn't really much to post about, so here are some links to amusing stuff I found over the Internet:

The last few days I've mostly been out with friends, watching movies and such. Among those were The Crow, The Crow: Salvation, The Messengers (boring and a rip-off of every decent movie there is, like The Shining), Mean Girls (nice, but doesn't stand out too much), The Brothers Grimm (beautiful, included some slightly changed stories from the two) and The Shining (at one point, Nico -I saw it with her- asked me if it had XXX parts -naked people/sex stuff; I had seen it a year ago, so when there was a scene with a naked woma, she looked at me disapprovingly and I just shrugged "what? it's not that bad!" -as in, not pornography, artistical nude XD). That's pretty much what I've been doing. And I also suggested that Mary and I watch Pink Floyd: The Wall. Never watched it? It's a must-see. Twisted and original. I have seen it before, but I want to see it again :] Brilliant movie.

Enough about this. I'll be back next time (obviously XD) with more facts, rather than rants. Hopefully you aren't dead from all that ranting I put you through (if you had the patience to stick to it until the very end XD). I hope I can make it to everyone's sites, there's a contest over at Minitokyo, I'm one of the judges and I have to make the prizes >_<

I almost stepped on my cat, it always lies in the middle of the room/hallway. Or on my scanner (it's already a flatbed one, it gets even flatter XD). Oh, and my dead parasite plant is doing just fine, in case anyone wants to know :] It currently resides on a dead stick. It's stuck to it :]

Time goes by so slowly...
Heck no! Time goes by pretty fast, and now it's July! Oo Way to go, Olivia, you realized it's July... And I've been getting more bored by the second.
Sesslover, I'm so sorry I spoiled Death Note for you T_T But you would've heard about it anyway, especially with all those *that thing*-related wallpapers around the Internet!
Out of pure curiosity, has anyone watched Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion? I've seen a ton of wallpapers and vectors around MT. I don't know if I'll watch it, that Lelouch person seems crazier than Light/Raito!

And here's a new wallpaper! Of course, you can click the picture for standard MyO resolutions, but I made two others as well ^_^ Even though I don't use widescreen, it's still a good way of including more stuff in a wallpaper! Well, you'll find more details on it ^_^ I already submitted it to Minitokyo, I hope it gets accepted on AnimePaper as well T_T

And I've finished watching Kao no nai Tsuki. You might know it as Moonlight Lady or No Surface Moon. It's a hentai anime, and the characters are drawn by Carnelian (favorite artist). I'll admit I liked the art, Carnelian is one of the most amazing artists out there, and the anime actuallt had a plot, unlike others of thi type. It is about a miko (Suzuna) who belongs to the generation that has the privilege of attenting the Expecting Moon Ceremony. However, unusual things happen at the shrine, since Suzuna's mother, who had passed away years before, is back as an evil spirit and has everyone under her control, planning to be resurrected by using her daughter and Kouichi, the one who is supposed to be Suzuna's husband (they both have powerful energy auras).
As for manga, I've read He is my Master (very cute and funny) and I'm reading When you look like an angel, which is nice as well, about a girl who tries to continue her life by playing tennis, after a car accident.
Here's the place I usually download manga from: StopTazmo.com. They have a lot of mangas here, and I'm planning to download Hellsing too (I've read only few volumes of it). Happy downloading ;-]

Question: Do you have an unusual talent? Which is it?
Me: I can juggle with two things XD I'll keep trying until I get to 3! Then I'll run away and join the circus!! *dances around*

Wow, time seems to go by without me knowing it XD Well, most of the time I've been making wallpapers and updating the Corner of Art with some new wallpapers. You'd better visit if you like wallpapers, I uploaded a lot there! And edited some pages that were lying around there for ever, in the "About" section >.>

Now I'm working on a layout change for the Kaleido Star site, and I'll take down some stuff from there, maybe add some screenshots. I really left that place for too long...

Anyway, more about my social life now. Yesterday I went to Mary's house and we watched Jackass - the most insane show ever! I'm not even going to start describing what they were doing there... If some are unfamiliar with the show, it's about a group who does extreme things for fun (like jumping off bridges, tying rockets to their roller blades etc.) We watched 2 episodes from the 6th season of Family Guy, and Mary got me all the 6 seasons on DVD from a friend of hers! I can't wait to watch all the episodes, I'm halfway though season 1 already ^_^

Other movies I have lying on my computer, that I have to see: 300 (yeah, haven't seen it T_T), 1408 (Stephen King book adapted >:]), The Devil's advocate (tried watching it 4 times but never got to finish it *chokes form laughter*), Equilibrium (kind of a xerox copy of The Matrix) and The Butterfly Effect. And I'm currently downloading Princess Tutu and The 10th Kingdom ^_^

I have all the episodes of Death Note, but I don't know if I'll burn them on DVD. Lately, ever since L kicked the bucket, the series has bored me. At first I thought "wow, 37 episodes for an 108-volume manga is not enough!", but now I'm thinking the exact opposite. Besides, L was a good addition to the storyline and I hated the moment of his death. Not that I like him or anything, I'm indifferent to all the characters. Misa's cute ^.^ Too stupid, though.

I forgot Harry Potter 5 from the list of movies I want to see! Not that I'm particularly interested, the movies are crappy, but the trailer looks interesting. So I'm giving it a chance! Hope the producers didn't butcher it, like they did with the other 4... *sighs* And I wish they had someone else for the part of HP, Daniel Radcliffe's acting like a misunderstood hero is bad, in my opinion.
I wonder if J.K. Rowling will kill Harry Potter in the last book... Probably not, because if she doesn't, sequels (the HP franchise is worth a lot of money) will bring her even more money (when there's such a money fountain, sequels are normal).

Thursday, the 12th of July

Yep, I'm back! Actually, I've been back since Saturday, but I had some projects to take care of >_< Fortunately, I finished them and now I can concentrate on a Kaleido Star vector I've been working on for month (literally) >.> Here's the wallpaper and the Princess Tutu vector (I'm too lazy to submit them to TheO now, look for standard resolutions later XD):

Lately I've spent a lot of time on Minitokyo, it's a really nice place. You should visit it too if you haven't, some of my best wallpapers are there, in the maximum resolutions (some are even widescreen!) Of course, all my vectors are there too.
These days I think I'll change the layout of my Kaleido Star site. Maybe update the Corner of Art too, with wallpapers, vectors and resources. So stay tuned! :]

Why the heck did they replace a word in one of my wallpaper's description with ***? The word was "jewel" and they made it look like "***el"! Heck, they should really think about mindless censoring! After all, the word I used has nothing to do with the specific religion. Very rude thing, if you ask me *angry*

As you know, I've been on a trip to the mountains! Most of the time, I just sunbathed and laid around doing nothing. However, on Friday, I went on a mega hiking trip and, surprisingly, my feet aren't mad at me! I climbed about 1400 m, and the view from up there was absolutely gorgeous! Too bad I didn't take my camera with me, I would've liked to take some pictures!
I even got a plant from there! You know, the kind that grow on trees, the parasite type. It's dead, and I like it :] My dad told me to throw it away, but I love it and I keep it :] It's dead, what more can I ask for? It won't run away XD

Arr! Finally watched Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End! Of course, like every Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow fan girl, I intend to remain in love with this person/character for all my life! As you can see by my desktop screenshot, those are all Pirates of the Caribbean fan arts from deviantART! ^o^" Keep in mind that my current resolution is 1152 x 864 (much better than 1024 x 768 ^^)... Yeah, I know, I play Tetris, therefore I'm a loser XD I like it... sort of. Here's the wallpaper I have on my desktop, for those interested ^^: click. (I didn't make it, how I wish I had made it, it's so lovely T_T)

Yesterday I had to go to my grandmother's, to bring her some stuff. Of all the hot days it could've rained, it rained then! And I had no umbrella with me! So, as you can easily guess, I got soaked. And by the time I got home, everyone was staring at me, because it had stopped raining and most people had dry clothes on XD Fortunately, I didn't catch a cold :]

[complaint] Lately there have been so many bad wallpapers on theO! Especially the ones from stararnold, YakumoChan and AlicaFox! God, how I wish they stopped submitting those awful wallpapers >,< They are practically flooding the database with their "works"! [/complaint]

Sorry, no music this time. Mainly because i listen to the same old songs I listened a while back, and it would be pointless to repost them. Instead, here are some Pirates of the Caribbean drawings from deviantART (no, not by me T_T). I adore the Davy Jones one <3 In fact, I love all of them ^.^
