Omedetou Tanjoubi! (Happy Birthday!)
|
....to me! Heck yeah, it's my 17th birthday today! I don't feel like I'm 17 though! Oh well, at least I know I can go watch R rated movies without having to sneak into it! lol
Well, within all that time, Hikari and Takeru broke up. Takeru kept doing the wrong things at the wrong time. *shrugs* As for my BF? He's still being the same sweetheart that he is! ^_^ I can't wait to see what he got me for my birthday and Christmas (yep, he got two separate presents! Sometimes for December birthdays, they get one present and it counts for two occasions. I don't really mind, but wouldn't it be nice to get two gifts in one month by the same person?)
I'm currently working on my birthday party, which is this Saturday! It's going to have a Final Fantasy theme to it. We're starting the party out by playing Truth or Dare (it's been ages since I've played that game). Then we'll be watching Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (heck yeah, I own the original Japanese version! ^_^). Then we'll be doing this Final Fantasy skit and that should be a blast! Then we'll have cake (the cake is going to be sooo awesome! It'll have Cloud on it! It's a white cake with strawberry filling, blue and yellow borders, and whipped frosting!) Sure, it's going to be costly (17 dollars) but hey, it's my birthday! Then we'll finish off with watching Ringu (the Japanese version of the Ring).
I'm also going to be giving Christmas gifts during that time. I can't tell you guys what I'm giving each of my friends because I'm afraid they'll find out by reading this entry, so it'll be a secret til Christmas! ^_~
I'm still doing very badly in History *sighs* Since when I did get stupid in History class? I mean, history never changes. Oh well, it's probably because of my bad skill of reading comprehension. I'm considering dropping the class at the end of the semester (I have a high D in the class, but I doubt it's going to change any time soon T_T). Perhaps regular US History will be better for me. Other than that, I'm doing well in all the rest of my classes!
Well, I know I'm probably not going to get back at you guys when Christmas arrives, so here's a little message for you all:
^_^ That's about it for me! Thanks for reading my journal entry and again, I'm sorry for not updating in such a long time.

Oh wow. Lots of stuff has happened since I've last updated (which is probably why I haven't been on for so long XD).
AP classes are a total time flyer. I do a little homework and two hours just pass by like nothing @_@ Yeah. I wish I could be like last year and get straight A's again T_T. I have three B's, two A's, and maybe a C (or D). My parents are going to kill me. If only they didn't set their standards so high.
Lj and I got into such a big fight (in the end, she made it seem like I was the big, evil bully and that she was some innocent little creature who got kicked when she's down). I won't go into details because the past is long gone.
I have this friend named Hikari (I may have mentioned her once or twice) and to be honest, she's like my darker twin with lighter skin. Darker because she's fascinated by zombies and death (She's in love with pyramid head from Silent Hill). Plus, she loves anime, shojo manga, video games and flirting with guys (I basically described myself). Anyway, drama happened with us too (but it was good drama...I guess). There are these two guys named Kenji and Takeru (nicknames once again). Well, we already knew Takeru from last year. I got to know him a little more because we pass e-mails back and forth. Soon enough, I started to like him, and he liked me back. Hikari used to date him, but she wanted to give it another try, so she explained to Takeru that she didn't mean for anything bad to happen. Then Takeru started to like the both of us.
Kenji came around this year (he's a sophomore) and he joined my committee (Japanese club is divided by committees and I'm in one of them). Well, Hikari comments that he's cute. I thought he was too (I love curly blonde/light brown haired guys who're taller than me). Well, last Friday, the Japanese Club went on a dinner party. We had a blast! Then, for fun, Hikari, Takeru, Kenji, and I thought it'd be cool to go to the arcade, just the four of us. We eventually just paired up. I ended up with Kenji. I had such a fun time with him, so I started to fall in love with him.
Hikari liked Kenji too, but she slowly preferred Takeru. I told Takeru all of this through e-mail. Takeru said that he would talk with Kenji to see who he liked more.
Well, on Tuesday, he asks Kenji and he says that he liked Hikari more. It was rather sad on my part because both of the guys happened to like her instead. Or so I thought. Hikari got sad too because she didn't want that to happen. I told her to take advantage of this and ask Takeru out herself. He's not going to otherwise. She did and then they started dating.
Wednesday, at the committee meeting, I told Kenji that both Hikari and I happened to like him. However, Hikari's going out with Takeru now. I said, "I had the feeling that you'd rather just be friends with me, but that's okay with me too since I don't know you that well." He says, "Oh no, don't think of that way." I ask, "So who do you like?" He replies, "I like you!" I was rather wide-eyed because I just thought he would rather have me as a friend, plus, he told Takeru that he liked Hikari. I blushed a little and said, "You do?" He says, "yeah, perhaps we should go out sometime." I smile and say, "Yeah, I'd like that"
So now we're all going out with really great guys. Kenji's sooo nice! He reminds me of Night from Absolute Boyfriend. Like today, he came over and we watched a movie. Then I made dinner for him. He tells that I'm the greatest thing that ever happened to him. *yay...melts* You all know I'm a hopeless romantic. ^^;; However, I've already spotted some "bad" things. He's the kind of person who would rather spend more time with his girlfriend than his friends (good on my part, but not for his friends. Guys need some male bonding time too). Also, he's kinda clingy (he stayed about two hours later than expected). However, I'm exactly like that too. *smiles* He's still awesome nonetheless. This is the first time I've ever dated an underclassman too. It seems to be going good right now.
I went to a movie with Hikari and my cousin. I saw Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. I've never seen the original before. Now I see why so many people like that movie so much. It was a very good movie (you know it's good when it's a musical).
Oh yeah, I found out that my favorite singer in the world (Darren Hayes...used to be in Savage Garden before they broke up) is bi. Wow! He's currently married with this dude for 2 years. More power to him! ^_^ I learn more things about Darren Hayes everyday!
I need to raise my grades, so in order to do that, I need to stop slacking and do my homework! >.< I've slacked so much more this year than ever! I hope I do better! That history reading is just a killer though @_@. Well, see you all later!

Mood: Not Tired Even Though It's 1:32 AM
|
I just joined this community thing on Konami (the people who make the awesome DDR game and also Silent Hill) I thought it'd be cool. It's free to join, and if you want to join, then click the banner below!
I recently got a hold of the dubbed version of the Prince of Tennis (my favorite anime ^_^). Viz got a hold of it. I really detest the voice actors. They don't really fit (except for Sakuno's voice. It fit perfectly XD) If you really want to hear it, they have the first episode on Toonami Jetstream. Although, I suggest going there if you have a fast internet connection. I tried to watch it, but the picture would freeze and I ended up listening to the episode instead. What was really scary was after I closed the window, the sound was still playing! It freaked my mom (when she was passing by) and myself.
Anyway, this week is my parents' vacation, although it doesn't feel like it. It started yesterday. What did we do? We painted the outside of our house. It took us like 4 hours and we were dead tired by the end of the day. We ended up going to the Spectrum to eat pizza. Then I decided to visit Lj (since she works at the Cinema there). We talked for a while. I even helped her clean up the theater when the show was over XD I scored myself a free bag of popcorn.
We're going to the mall tomorrow. I got a coupon for a free cotton panty (sorry if I killed your modesty there, folks ^^;;;) at Victoria's Secret, so I'll be redeeming it then (I can't pass up a chance for something free! Even if it is underwear) Then I might be hanging out with Lj on Thursday.
I've been doing some daily runs. It really helps me get energized in the day (I can't say the morning because I'm still asleep then) then I'll use my dumbbells every other day (you thought I was just kidding when I said I was going to buy some? XD) Anyway, I see why people aren't very fit. It's pretty expensive to buy exercise equipment! A couple of dumbbells costed about $12!
No random fact for the day be because I somehow misplaced my Random Fact Book. XD

Mood: Feeling Like An Emo to Feeling All Right
|
Boy, maybe I have depression or something. It's rather scary to think about. Just today, I woke up sobbing and throwing a pity party. I called myself fat and I worried about D-chan dying from being obese (because I still want to be able to see him when I'm in my mid-30s), and I worried over not getting my license because my dad's a jerk. I also wish he would stop buying all that fattening stuff too -.-
So today, to cheer myself up, I ran outside for 10 minutes, then DDRed for about 45 minutes. I lost about 500 calories (in total). It felt nice.
I feel rather gypped now. I've on myOtaku.com for over 2 years and I'm still not a Senior Otaku. So no need for the excuse on being on here for a long time. I think I have to be ACTIVE for a long time for it to happen. No worries though. Thank you for the hints on becoming one. I think I enjoy being an Otakuite. It sounds cooler than Senior Otaku anyway (Senior Otaku reminds me of a senior citizen XD)
For those who actually take my quiz on the bottom of the post, you guys ought to read the title XD It says "What Sailor Scout Are You?" I'm referring to a comment I got saying that it was girly. Well, yeah, it's girly because it's telling you what scout you are. From what I remember from Sailor Moon, all of the scouts were girls (okay, there were those transvestites, the Stars, but I didn't include them in the quiz. I don't think I included Mini-Moon either. Wow. Sorry all you StarS and Mini-Moon fans XD) Just clearing that up. I'm not trying to be rude if I sounded like it.
Thank you for those who like my background song. Tis the ending theme song of Rurouni Kenshin. If you want to download the actual song, click here! The song's called Heart of Sword by the way. This site also has all of the Inuyasha theme songs (including those from the movies). ^_^ One of my favorite sites to download songs from.
Oh man, I saw the Mr. Hong Kong competition today on the TV. The contestants were totally hot! *happy fan girl squeal* What was really cool was that the one I was hoping would win actually did! XD Am I good or what? His name is Matthew Go. I think he was 23 years old. He can play the piano, learn how to samba within an hour (twas one of the events he had to do), and he looks really nice in a swimsuit (they had a pose contest. Yay) He's also very sensitive (I mean, any guy who can play a romantic piano piece is sure to have a sensitive side). ^_^ I really wish I could show you all a pic, but since the event was so recent, I doubt it's on the internet.
Ehhh, I've been informed by my dad that I'll be working on backing up on Wednesday. I still need to work on that. I really hope he won't be so hard, but I doubt it. Good luck to me.

Thank You For the 4000+ Hits!

Mood:Feeling Fat
I had to wave a white flag for the coding of that last blog (the purply one). Itachi said that the box was too small. Well, I tried to enlarge it, but the code pwned me (yeah yeah, laugh at me all you want). So I switched to this blog. I was actually able to code this one better. Sure, the font's a lot smaller, but oh well.
My friend gave me a cell phone about two weeks ago! ^_^ Tis a Nokia 6010 and the service is T-Mobile Pay As You Go. I really like the phone. The service is okay because I don't really use the cell phone unless I'm on the internet or away from home. It has a lot of cool features such as IM, text messaging, games, and voice recording. I can even download games, wallpapers, and ringtones. It's pretty neat to me ^_^
I got my permit too! I drove with my dad for the first time on Wednesday. It was a total disaster! I didn't do anything wrong, I swear I didn't! My dad just had to go and throw insults at me. You guys probably don't think it's that bad, well then, you ought to come and ride with me sometime then. Sure, you won't even understand what my dad is saying, but still. He kept insulting the way I drive and he kept calling me stupid. By the time we got to the store, I broke down sobbing. Yeah, it was just that bad. Thankfully my mom was there to comfort me. Maybe by the time I get my license, I would have become an emo due to my dad's verbal abuse.
I'm almost done playing SOTET. I still need to do some training because the monsters are about at level 80 and my strongest guy is at level 56.
The reason why I'm feeling fat is because once again, my mom's been calling me fat. I'm not fat at all. I'm a healthy 135 pounds. I want to do some DDR, but I lack motivation again. -.- The way my dad buys tons of snacks isn't helping either. The bags of chips, cheese crackers, and the boxes of ice cream bars and ice cream isn't working out for me. The temptation is too intense! >.< I was also thinking of buying some dumbbells so I can attempt to shape my arms.
I got a letter from my AP English teacher and it's a list of non-fiction books for us to choose from. Lj bought for me a copy of Huckleberry Finn. I had to pay her back of course. I decided to check out The Medical Detectives from the library. I like murder mysteries and I like learning about medicine, so I thought this would be a good book for me. Sadly, the book is 400 pages and I need to finish it by a month XD Good luck to me then.
Oh yeah! I'm now at ranking 198! Whoot! It makes me wonder how you become something other than an Otakuite. I've been on myO for nearly 3 years now and I'm still an Otakuite. Maybe if I visit more people and update everyday. ^^;;;
Random Fact: The highest point in Pennsylvania is lower than the lowest point in Colorado.

Mood:Pretty Sporkin' Well
Hello! I know it's been quite a while yet again. It's been over a month since I last updated or visited anyone. Does anyone like my Rurouni Kenshin theme? I know of a few people who use this theme, but since this anime hasn't been on TV in a long time, I thought it'd be nice to show it off. I must say that this anime is one of my all time favorites. I always loved shows that were dealing with the feudal era (like Inuyasha, Samurai Champloo, etc.), and also, this show gives you a little Japanese history lesson too, but not so that it bores you. ^_^ The song playing is "Heart of Sword", the ending theme song.
So what's been going on with me? Well, I did very well on my finals, except for one, which was my Sports Medicine exam. I got a C on it. Not quite sure what kind of C, but that C really hurt my report card (if it had feelings). My mom was totally disappointed, even though I had more A's. I still ended up with straight A's for my final grade though, so I think I got a high C on that test *shrugs*
My computer crashed for the first time not too long ago. The same thing that happened with Anime Artist's computer is what my computer suffered. I was able to save it by reformatting it ^_^ That System Restore CD does wonders. I've also decided not to download anything on my computer unless I really need it (like virus updates, computer updates, etc). No songs. If I want to save a picture, I'll just upload it to Photobucket.
Lj burned me this really awesome CD. It has DDR songs and some anime songs. It has several Prince of Tennis songs (what can I say? I just LOVE that anime!), an Inuyasha song ("Come" was the song in case you guys were wondering), the opening of Get Backers, "Cosmic Dare" from the Cowboy Bebop Movie, and 2 songs from Outlaw Star. Very good mix if I say. She also burned me this other CD, but I don't really listen to it.
I also got hooked on The Sims games. I played Bustin' Out and Sims 2. To be honest, I like both of them the same! Except I think it's easier to build houses in the Bustin' Out one than the 2nd one. Oh yeah, the cheat codes for the Sims 2 were a ton easier. (how else can you enjoy a game w/o a little help?) If you guys prefer a more RPG-like game, I suggest The Sims Bustin' Out. If you just love the classic style of a simulation game, go with the Sims 2. If all possible, I'd go with the PC version. Way better than the PS2 version.
Now I'm currently playing Star Ocean Til the End of Time. Tis a totally awesome game! Of course, it's kinda hard til you find your first save point because you trigger these certain things in order to get to the save point (well, I guess it's the same with any RPG). Well, I had to go somewhere in a few minutes, so maybe I shouldn't have started the game. The battling system's like Kingdom Hearts, but you have to run into your enemies yourself, rather than have the enemies just pop up in front of you. Speaking of KH 2, I beat it. If Itachi let me borrow it for another day, I would have beaten it. I ended up having to borrow Lj's KH 2. Oh man, when I went back to Tron's world, I bawled at the end. It was just so sweet! Plus, I think I was having mood swings while I was playing it because now that I think of it, it wasn't supposed to be that heart touching. XD
I'm almost done with Driver's Ed. At first, I didn't know how to back up, make U-turns, or park. Now I can't back up or make left turns. I get confused with which way to turn the wheel when I'm backing up, so it's kinda scary. I'm glad I have a very patient instructor. He's pretty nice too. Funny as well. ^_^ I have a 4 day weekend coming up. Yayz! Oooh, I'll have to buy some fireworks for the 4th of July. I love lighting them! (I'm a pyro when it comes to July 4th) Once that's over, I'll have my final drive. The dreaded Parent Drive. I have no choice but to take my dad (because he's the only parent who can speak and understand English). Sadly, he's always very angry when it comes to driving (he's got major Road Rage). Maybe he'll still be drowsy since it'll be early morning, so he won't be so mad when I make a mistake. I know for a fact I'll screw up somehow because I suck at driving.
I'll be going to see Click with Lj later today. I hope she calls me ^_^ (Click is that Adam Sandler movie. Heard it was hilarious). I can't wait to see it! We were originally going to look for cosplay materials at Wal*Mart, but Lj didn't want to sacrifice her life in traffic and get in a wreck. I must respect her wants.
For next year at the Anime Oasis convention, Lj and I will be Gakuto and Yushi from Prince of Tennis. That pair is a doubles team from the tennis team Hyotei. Also known as the Naughty Pair for those who are into yaoi. (If you don't know what yaoi is...and you're not a homophobe, PM me sometime). We'll be looking for stuff. She'll be buying the majority of the materials, while I'll be the one making the costumes. I do hope all goes well ^_^ I didn't have as much fun at the con this year because I didn't stay long and I didn't cosplay, so no hugs or pictures from random otakus.

Last Week of School! yatta!
|
Hey there. I know it's been quite a while. I'm terribly sorry for not visiting or updating. I'm just not as active. =.= Besides, I just spend my time doing homework and playing the Sims: Bustin' Out (Great game, by the way). So I'm going to leave you all a little update.
I went to go see Silent Hill with Lj. That movie is totally awesome. I like it very very much! ^_^ Although it'd be better if it wasn't so gory. I bet the game isn't that gory. I haven't played it, but Lj did, so she explained it all to me ^_^
I have finals this week, so I might not able to visit for a while. Maybe I'll do it over the summer, if I'm not too tired. Why would I be tired? Well, I have Driver's Ed in the morning. 8:30 for class, 7:00 if I have to drive.
I have to study for PE and English tonight. My English teacher gave our class one last assignment a couple days before the final! Oh gosh, as if we don't have any other finals to study for. It's worth 50 points, but I'm really glad it's easy!
Another thing, I really like my Japanese teacher, but I really hate how she teaches us things that'll be on the exam a week before the exam itself. -.- We need time to actually get used to it before getting tested on it. I made kanji flash cards to study from. As for identifying verbs, katakana words, and particles, I'm screwed. -.- Oh well. I'm sure glad I had such a high grade in that class.
I have this math rival. Grr. He's always doing better than me in tests and quizzes. Oh, but here's the even more amazing thing. He never studies and does his homework at the last minute! My goal was to beat him on a test or quiz. I finally did! We did an EOC test and I got an 88, whereas he got an 83! Oh yeah! I felt proud. Although, his percentage is still higher than mine, but only by a bit -.- We still have another exam to do though. Yeah, most of the time, our tests are worth 10%, but my math teacher decided to make it worth 20 by adding another test.
I'm not too worried about the other finals. Cept maybe Sports Med. I still have to make my Cheat Sheet. Then I'll be content. I'm glad we're able to use one this semester. ^_^ We'll also be getting our CPR cards soon. I'm such a dork. When you're doing adult CPR, you're supposed to check for response, and if they don't respond, you call 911. I didn't call 911 XD I just went into doing breaths and compressions. I'm glad the teacher made me double check first.
>.>; I have no idea what else to say. I guess I could talk about Father's Day. I'm not quite sure what I should get my dad. Maybe I shouldn't get him anything. He hasn't been very nice to me this year. >.>; Or maybe I should just be nice and make him a pie. Yeah, that's what I'll do. Make a pie and pretend that's his gift.

3 More Weeks of School Left (I think) and Happy Mother's Day!
|
Yearbooks were distrbuted two days ago! Oh Fuji, it was so weird though. The office said I had a fine to pay, so when I found out I had one, I totally freaked out and I started to wonder where it is I could have gotten it from. (I've never had a fine in my life) I'm very grateful that my friend told me to check in the library because he said there was absolutely no line there (to go pay other fines, there was this humongous line) I went there and found out that the computer said I turned in a reference book a week overdue (those are to be back the next day) I swore that I checked it out last Monday and turned it in last Tuesday morning. I'm glad the librarian was nice and said that it was a mistake on her part. So no fine. Although I had to wait until second period to get mine (the office people ran out T_T) At least I got mine. I'm also glad I made myself an autograph book.
Why? Well, my math teacher said that we couldn't have yearbook signing, but if you made an autograph book, he said you could use that instead. So that's what I did! ^_^ It looks so adorable. I grabbed a wallpaper pic from theotaku and in the "empty space" I put word art in there that said "Sayuri's Autograph Book 2006" (replace Sayuri with my full legal name XD). I sure got a lot of signatures too! I can't wait for more on Monday.
Since my mom goes to work today (on Mother's Day), we decided to celebrate it yesterday. We had so much fun! The first thing I did when I got up was make a lemon meringue (I can't spell that XD) pie! It took me half an hour to make and it still had to cool for another 4 hours. D-chan and I are pretty impatient when it comes to eating sweets. Good thing I made rice crispie treats to satisfy us instead. Then we went shopping! Bought ramen ^.^ I also had a long chat with my mom, since we rarely ever do that, so it was special for me.
I'm thinking of becoming Japanese Club president. Sure, it was great being vice-president, but I feel that I can do more than that ^_^ I hope people vore for me! Even the current president said that I would make a better president. I can't wait for the re-election next school year. I have a lot of cool things planned. Like an annual winter eat-out, ceremonial tea bowl making, getting shirts in first thing, make anime Christmas cards for the school staff (thought it'd nice to do something so we can be known), and maybe work up to get more anime DVDs for our Anime Week and possibly a kareoke machine. That should be enough to make the otakus of my high school happy for a year. To help with all this, I'm thinking of doing weekly fundraisers (primarily bake sales and maybe flea markets) so we have enough to do the eat-out and not go Dutch (where everyone just pays for themselves) Sadly, the members will have to pay for their own shirts. Doesn't that all sound nice? I hope I'll be able to do all that ^_^ Otherwise, next year's Japanese Club will be another flop.

New Theme Yet Again
|
Let's keep up-to-date with those stats, shall we? Total Visits: 3489 Popularity Ranking # 218 Those are some pretty sweet stats, if I do say so myself.
I changed my theme yet again. This time, tis my favorite sailor scout! ^_^ The song is my favorite Savage Garden song and that's "Two Beds and a Coffee Machine". I just love the piano music and the lyrics may be sad, but I like songs like that sometimes. Don't worry, most of their songs are romance ^_^. Please enjoy it. >.>; If you can't hear it, it might be my fault.
I didn't go sushi ingredient shopping with Lj because she wasn't available.
I did all of my homework yesterday, like I should have! XD I can't wait to watch more Inuyasha, FMA, and Ghost in the Shell! =D
Well, that's it! bye bye! (>.>; How short of a post)

Weekends Are Now Awesome Again!
|
Long time, no write of course. Sorry about that. I've finally been able to get together a schedule so that everything will run smoothly and I can get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday again! =D
My mom got Saturday off! I can finally have a whole day to do homework. I'm glad all I have this week is Geometry and studying for a test in Sports Med.
My schedule consists of this: Sunday is Chore/DDR Day. On the weekdays, I immediately do homework after eating a snack. Then, when I finish my homework before 7 PM, I can always DDR some more (it's always nice to get a workout in, right?). Then, at 7, I shower. 7:30 to 8 is meditation time (it's nice for a Buddhist to get rid of daily stress). 8 to 8:30, I prepare dinner and record this one show for my folks. 9 to 9:30, we eat dinner, clean dishes, wipe off the table, and sweep the kitchen floor. After that, I brush my teeth and by that time, it's 10 PM. That's bedtime. I wake up at 6:30 the next morning to get ready for school.
Speaking of school, today was an assembly day, but it went by the regular schedule. I didn't win an award because I'm not taking 3 different accelerated classes. Plus, I'm a measly sophomore. There were those special overachieving sophomores who did though! ^_^ I'm glad I was a nominee (there were 300 of them, then the teachers narrowed it to just 30). I got a certificate and a nifty keychain. I also got called down again to pick another prize. I went with a very kawaii lion plushie (Our mascot is the lion). I named it Shi-chan (because lion in Japanese is "Shishi" or "Rion"). We had lunch, and since Lj didn't come to school today (bad family problems >.<), I hung out with Eriku-san all day (I haven't talked much about him, huh? It's because we rarely even see each other T_T) Shimeru wasn't here today either. Well, since both our best friends were gone, might as well hang out together huh? A friend of mine said that we'd make a nice couple. *cough* I would never go out with my ex's best friend. Also, as crazy as this sounds, I still have feelings for Shimeru.
Lj did come over after school before she headed off to work. She told me about what happened. I'm always worried about her. If only her mom wasn't such a selfish witch. *shakes head* I made her some ramen, and gave her a Playstation Gamer Advisory Panel cap (I got it today because I'm now an official member, but the hat was way too big, and it was gray. Not a good color for my head) She gave me half of an Easter marshmallow egg.
Tomorrow is D-chan's birthday! He's turning 14! Gosh, I feel old. My own little brother is turning 14. We bought a really tasty looking 2-layered vanilla cake and we're even having some pizza, ice cream, and pop. Great party huh? Just the family! ^_^ Then, I'll be going sushi ingredient shopping with Lj. In Japanese on Wednesday, we'll be making sushi, but we have to buy some stuff. All the sensei is supplying is the wax paper and sticky rice. We, as a sushi family, have to buy the nori (seaweed) sheets and any stuffing we want (mostly vegetables). I'm glad I live by an oriental market! ^_^
Random Fact: In 1508, Leonardo de Vinci first suggested using contact lenses to improve vision.
