Random Ramble
|
Lj visited yesterday and gave me Shojo Beat issue 2! ^_^ She also talked about Driver's ed. She really likes that class and is passing it very well! ^_^ We also talked about cute shonen-ai couples. lol She also lent me Prince of Tennis volume 1. I'll have to read that before Thursday, because that be it's due date! She's coming over today too!
Did anyone catch last night's Inuyasha? It happens to be one of the more depressing episodes in my opinion! It was The Soul Piper and the Little Lost Soul. The way that little girl was saying that she missed her mom and that she was sorry she hid in the closet and put her scarf over the stove. It just tore my heart to shreds! I always bawl for at least 20 minutes! I love my mom very much and just seeing that episode, oh gosh! Lj was bawling too after seeing that episode. I think we're the only girls who thought that episode was depressing. I was going around asking people if it was sad and they disagreed. Lj joked about it and said that they were heartless. Anyway, I think that has got to be the most depressing Inuyasha episode I have ever seen!
I called up one of my old friends. We're not all that close anymore. I couldn't find anything to talk about and she rarely talks about anything (she's rather shy). Good thing Lj came over and that meant I could end the conversation without being rude! I mean, it was nice talking to her and all, it's just that when you run out of things to say, it sorta kills the conversation.
The winner of my poll was Kaoru!
Mystery picture was Misao!
No mystery picture of the day...go to Queen of Anime's site for one if you really love them that much XD She started doing this thing too
Daily Poll:
Which anime is really sad?
A.) Inuyasha
B.) Wolf's Rain (ending of series)
C.) Fullmetal Alchemist
D.) Fruits Basket (the ending of series)
Random Fact:
Since there is no wind or water on the moon, the footprints left by the Apollo Astronauts should be there for the next 10 million years.

I'm So Dense When It Comes to Love
|
To let you all know, D-chan is my little brother. Not my friend, though he could be XD
Sorry I didn't update or visit! I was too busy IMing people on MSN XD If you'd like to IM me, my SN is swtmoongrlATattDOTnet. Don't e-mail me using that address or else the message will get sent back. I used this safe list where I get to choose which addresses get to be sent to me. Of course, if you seriously want to e-mail me using that address and you promise you won't send me hate mail or forwards, PM me and maybe I'll let you ^_~ You can always use my netscape account, which is kageyume89@netscape.net.
I talked with Shimeru-chan yesterday. We talked about his trip to Canada (no, he didn't go to where my pen pal lives ._.), but he wasn't anywhere near civilization, he says XD. At the end, I said that I loved him. He said that he loved me too! So the reason I couldn't reach him was because he was always gone. Thank you for those who said that nobody could be mad at me XD I'm not really all that nice. In fact, I was rumored as angry and mean in school. I guess he was stressed at the end of the school year, and wasn't mad at me. So does this mean we're going steady now? Oh gosh, this is so great! ^-^
We already have 5 members in our Hiei and Kurama club! Yay! If you'd like to join, pick out which banner you'd like from my intro, and PM me! ^^
Oh my gosh, Saturday's Paranoia Agent was so friggen great! XD Especially the ending with the extra-thin condoms XD The rest of the anime was good too!
Still wasn't able to get to everyone -.- I got to the majority of you people though!
My mystery person was Miroku! He's Shimeru-chan's favorite Inuyasha character! The people who got it right were: Kuramagoddess1, DarkKiba, Tsuki Tsumetai, Queen of Anime, and Hanyou-InuYasha! Whoo hoo!
The winner of my poll was Youko Kurama!
Ok! I'll give you all an extra hint! Point to the mystery picture for it! ^_~ I've been doing this for a quite a while now, but I don't think anyone noticed XD
Mystery Picture of the Day:
Hint: You can find this picture on my graphics site too! ^_^
Daily Poll:
Which supporting actress is your favorite?
A.) Kagome (InuYasha)
B.) Kayko (Yu Yu Hakusho)
C.) Meryl (Trigun)
D.) Kaoru (Rurouni Kenshin)
Random Fact:
Edgar Allen Poe was expelled from West Point for showing up for a public parade wearing only a white belt & gloves.

Ah Cha Cha
|
Yesterday was D-chan's last day of summer school. Now for the rest of the break, he gets to sleep in as much as he wants! ^_^ I've seen his daily log, which has questions like "What's the weather?", "What are you going to do today after school?", and "What did you do last night?" Well, all I've been seeing for what he wants to do, he always writes down "play on the computer" and for what he did last night was watch TV (which is true). I got really guilty for always hogging the computer, so today, I let him spend a couple of hours playing Internet games on Neopets, Postopia, and even have him use my Adventure Quest RPG character. I'm sure glad he was able to play on the computer. He seemed very elated! ^_^
I was downloading the latest Adobe Reader (version 7), and it's a really big file to download (19 MB), so if I wasn't able to get some sites, I'm terribly sorry ^^;;;
My mom didn't want our phone greeting to include Chinese because it would have been too long of a message, so she wanted me to do another one. Our phone only lets us say what we have to for 30 seconds, which I think isn't all that long, so I was thinking of saying something short. I had to redo my message about 3 times because the first time was too fast (I only said it in 4 seconds), the 2nd was too fuzzy (I was too far away from the microphone), and the 3rd time I left out something! Geez, I'm such a perfectionist. XD I sound rather deep over the phone too, but I can't change that.
I was thinking of calling Eriku-san so I could tell him one of Lj's really good fics. I tried to find one that wasn't too long so that I wouldn't waste his time, but in all of Lj's short ones, you have to know who the character is to understand what's going on XD I might just ask him for his address and send it to him via snail mail. *sighs* He's moving soon, so why bother with that?! His Internet's slower than mine (and that's saying something), so even if I were to e-mail Lj's stories to him, he probably won't get them because he never checks his e-mail (I'm not even sure if he even has an e-mail address).
*sighs* I haven't heard from Shimeru-kun in such a long while. Eriku-san had the feeling that he was in an angry mood towards me. I agree. I wonder what I did? I tried to call him, but he wouldn't answer. I hate it when my friends don't tell me if I'm bothering them about something. When school comes around again, maybe I'll be able to catch him one day and then we can talk ^^ Maybe we'll even walk home together like we used to last year. (Is it me, or did that sound like some sort of teen drama dilemmia?)
My mystery person was Signal from Twin Signal. It's a very old anime, I have yet to see it, but I hope I like it when I rent it again from the video store.
The winner of our poll was Tohru!
Today's Mystery Picture:
Hint: You can this particular picture at my graphics website.
Daily Poll:
Which long, white haired dude is your favorite?
A.) Sesshomaru (InuYasha)
B.) InuYasha
C.) Ayame Sohma (Fruits Basket)
D.) Dartz (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
E.) Yoko Kurama (Yu Yu Hakusho) Yes, I know his hair is silver, but it looks white from afar.
Random Fact:
As late as 1906, the acceptable beach attire for women on the beach at Atlantic City, New Jersey included long bathing dresses, bathing shoes, and stockings.

Workout High
|
Wow! Yesterday was workout madness! I woke up at 8:30 AM so that I could get ready for the luncheon that was being held at D-chan's (my little brother) summer school, which started at 10:00. Well, with two and a half hours to spare, I decided to work out! I got dressed, brushed my teeth, washed my face, brushed my hair and tied it in a low ponytail. Then I did 30 minutes of yoga, spent about 15 minutes jogging, 10 jump roping and 5 minutes on our ghetto stair climber. XD My dad woke up at 9:45 and forgot to take me along with him. =_= So then I decided to hang out at the computer after making snacks.
At 4:30 PM, while IMing The Fro, I hear the doorbell ring and it's Lj. She arrived about half an hour early so that we could work out at her mom's apartment. ^_^ We had fun figuring out how to work the equipment. (I'm techno stupid) We couldn't even figure out how to work the jogging machine. Of course, there was a switch in the back of the machine, so how was I supposed to know that?! XD We did vigorous excerise for about 45 minutes (I lost about 25 calories), and then we had some kind of late lunch/early dinner because Lj ate very little earlier in the day. T_T
Those pizza rolls that Lj baked for us were delicious, yet spicy! ^_^ We watched Titanic. Oh my god, that movie is a real tearjerker! Especially near the end. I can't stand how families have to be separated; it tears me apart. TT__TT To think, this was reality a long time ago!
That was my Thursday! Today's very early, so I haven't the foggiest what's happening. Oh yes, if you'd like to join the Hiei & Kurama Fan Club, pick a banner from my intro and send me a PM! ^-^ One more thing, I updated my graphics website! Please visit it sometime all right? I promise it won't waste your time! ^_~
My mystery person was Dark Mousy from DNAngel! ^_^ The people who got it right were: Kuramagoddess1, ChibiMana, yellowsword, Queen of Anime, captainfirelily, and white fang! Great guessing talents!
The winner of my poll was Kagura from Fruits Basket! The reason why I even put an "other" category was because I knew there was someone else who had a "bad" voice (but STML hit me) and it was indeed Sanji from One Piece, gosh, that voice does not suit him whatsoever! He sounds like a punky ganster!
Mystery Picture of the Day:
Hint: Only a true otaku would know who this person was. (meaning this anime's not on TV anymore)
Daily Poll: (this question was inspired by a comment said by AG. I was holding a Vash cosplayer's gun while they were registering at the convention, I was Kayko. Do you think Kayko would have a gun?)
Which anime girl would look downright unusual if she had a gun in her hands?
A.) Keiko (Yu Yu Hakusho)
B.) Amy/Sailor Mercury (Sailor Moon)
C.) Sakura (Cardcaptors)
D.) Tohru (Fruits Basket)
Random Fact:
During hibernation, a bear may lose as much as 25% of its body weight.

Hello! I'm glad some of you guys liked my new blog. At first, it wouldn't scroll, so it was this long list of blog-ness. XD I used some HTML skills to make it scroll. Now it's all organized and cool!
I created a club with Kuramagoddess1...it's the Hiei & Kurama Fan Club! ^-^ Not intended as a couple, but if you'd like it as that, I guess it'll work too XD the banners should show up in my intro. If not, please wait for a few hours. The website I used to make my intro requires a 24 hour wait in order for the updated changes to work -.- but if you'd like to join this fantastic club, PM me! The banners look fantastic too! There's three to choose from and all of them are marvelous! ^_^ But you're only allowed to choose one.
I was able to make my computer a lot faster by fixing some bad sectors. I don't know what it means exactly, but from what I've read, after fixing the sectors, your computer will operate faster. How do you do this? I think it only works for Windows XP computers, but it may work for ME, 2000, or even 98 *shrugs*. Anyway, go to My Computer, right click on the hard disk (C: drive), then click Properties. A new window should appear, so click the "Tools" tab and click on "Check now". Be sure ALL programs are closed (Including Internet T_T). Wait a bit for it to clean up...if you use your computer daily (which I know most of you do), then do this weekly to make your computer less sluggish. It seriously helps my computer since I have dial-up and all, I'd like my Internet to run as fast as it's able to.
Can you tell that I'm trying to break my habit of using the neverending ellipses (...)? I think it just makes it unprofessional and it makes it seem like I can't think of anything to say! XD Oh yeah, I tried to get my PIN for the FAFSA (which is this financial aid thingie) and now I have to wait for about 3 days to be able to get my PIN again...maybe I should just ask for it over postal mail...at least I'll know that I'll keep it.
The mystery picture was Nina Sakura from Ultra Maniac...one of the most recent animes! Made by the creator of Marmalade Boy, Wataru Yoshizumi! ^_^
The winner of my poll is Fruits Basket! To be honest, Furuba isn't very recent ^^;;;
Mystery Picture of the Day:
Hint: Nighttime is another word for his name.
Daily Poll:
Which character's voice actor/ess just doesn't seem to fit them?
A.) Kagura (Fruits Basket)
B.) Shuichi (Gravitation)
C.) Other
Random Fact:
Chocolate contains phenylethylamine, which is the same chemical human brains produce when falling in love. To much phenylethylamine will make you nervous (So that does that mean if you eat too much chocolate, you'll get nervous?)

Hey
|
Nay ho ma? No ho, gum yut mo yea dup peet. ("How are you? I'm well, not much serious going on today.") Anyway...I tried to get to some sites today...but I was distracted by DarkWolves Faith's Sango site! It's so pretty! *___* Speaking of non-myO sites...I suggest clicking here for FREE anime graphics...lol..my little cousin says I should advertise my site some more, so that I can get more hits. XD Please sign my guestbook there too! If you're a Gravitation fan, I suggest checking out my MP3 and WMA section for free downloads of your favorite songs from the Gravitation anime! =D I always update at least once a month, so it'll be worth your while! ^__^
I wrote my reply to Yuki and I'll be sending the letter to her this Friday...I like to send my letters in secret (which means my parents don't know I even have a pen pal XD)...that's because I'm such a fruitcake.
My mom wants to buy phone cards from the Internet...but usually when you're online shopping...you have to have a credit card...which we don't have...now she wants me to ask a friend to see if they would lend us their credit card to buy phone cards and we'll pay them back...so...maybe Lj or AG would like to do us that favor.
Oh yes, the deal with how Takuhai's not sending me their issue is because they need more people to subscribe to it! ^_^ I'll still get my issue, so yeah..
Are you a safe blogger? Consider clicking here to get some really good info on how to ramble as much as you want, but enough so that there won't be any sudden stalkers. XD I won't accept the fact that blogging is becoming dangerous. The link's actually referring to parents, but I'm sure it applies to us too XD
The answer to my mystery picture was Ed from Cowboy Bebop! I've never seen Love Hina, so I didn't know there was a tan chick in that series XD. The people who got it right were: Kogalover05 and Hanyou-InuYasha!
The winner of my poll was Speed Racer!
Mystery Picture of the Day (Tis the one month anniversary of the Mystery Pictures XD):
Hint: Little Miss Witch
Daily Poll:
Which anime is the most recent you've ever seen?
A.) Ultra Maniac
B.) Spiral
C.) Shingu
D.) Fruits Basket

Back Again From Parts Unknown
|
Nay ho ma?! (that means "How are you?" in Cantonese) I'm doing better! ^_^ Thanks for everyone who wished me better....I usually get over things quickly, so no worries! ^^
Sorry I haven't been on here yet again...thanks for those who visit me, but yet...I never visit you TT___TT...I went Gaiaonline fishing two days ago and I didn't feel like going on the comp yesterday (when I feel mopey, I tend to watch TV)...if you'd like my Gaia name, it's otakugrl ^^
Oh my goodness! Did you know that episode 128 of Inuyasha has guest star appearances?! Of Jimmy Kudo and Rachel Moore from Case Closed?! Now I must see that episode! ^__^ but the thing is...[adult swim] is only on season 4....and Episode 128 is the beginning of the 6th season...how long must I wait?! Maybe AS will cancel Inuyasha like they do sometimes and will start it over again T_T then I'll never be able to see one of my favorite anime crossover with another! It should be exciting...I bet Jimmy and Rachel don't even say anything, but just seeing them on another anime is cool enough for me!
I found this out last night...but I was too bleh to post it *rolls eyes* Oh well! ^_^...Is it me or do I seem too happy right now? Seems creepy to me. XD
Yay! I got a letter from my pen pal, Yuki today! The sad thing is, the envelope was all ripped up...so...the postal dudes put the letter in a plastic bag...and it was a pain to open (it was full of tape too)...and she says she gave me a gift...but I can't find it, unless she meant her phone number, then yes, I did get it.
Well, that's it for me! Bye bye!
Who was yesterday's person? Gary Oak from Pokemon! His Japanese name is soo much cooler!
hehe, I'm glad I was able to give you all who wanted Takuhai a link...maybe you'll be able to get your issue this month...I'm still waiting for mine XD
Mystery Person of the Day:
One of the only anime characters with tan skin.
Daily Poll:
Which was the oldest anime you've ever seen?
A.) Speed Racer
B.) Voltron
C.) Sailor Moon
D.) something way older than the above! XD

Meh.....
|
Feeling fragile and sensitive right now...my mom's in a crabby mood and my dad's trying to be nice to gain my respect for him, but after what he did at the party...he can never earn it back...I have completely lost all respect for my father.
From the results from the poll, a lot of you don't subscribe to an anime magazine...would you like a free one? One free year of Takuhai is great...you even get free shipping. I currently subscibe to it myself. I still have to wait for it though. Lj gives me her Shojo Beat and that has got to be one of my favorite magazines ever. I read the whole thing in one day and that magazine's as big as Shonen Jump when they had Dragonball Z. You can pick up a free preview issue at your local manga/bookstore.
I don't have much to say anymore...so I'll just leave you with what I usually have at the bottom...that's what about 75% of you people read anyway. *shrugs*
My mystery person was Doris Lang from Vampire Hunter D...that anime's really good...very gory, but good.
Mystery Picture of the Day
Hint: Shigeru Ookido is his Japanese name.
Daily Poll:
Will you subscribe to Takuhai since it's free?
A.) *as Lj, Eriku-san and I would say* Heck yes!
B.) Umm...no
C.) *as Shimeru-kun and Eriku-san would say*.....maybe.

You Can't Make Life Perfect...Now If Only My Dad Knew That
|
The sleepover was great! ^_^ We rented Vampire Hunter D, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Twin Signal...we only got to Monty Python XD We got to a little bit of Vampire Hunter D, but we were too distracted by the pantie shots (no, it's not a pervy anime, it just has a lot of pantie shots)...we never got to watch Twin Signal...but I bet it was a great anime!
The next day was the party...Eriku-san was able to make it...but he was like dead silent most of the time...it was hard to keep a conversation with him...but you know...it's kinda rude to talk to someone while anime watching ^^;;...I tried putting in two pizzas at once to have them cook faster...but that was a bad idea...the bottom pizza was really burnt on the crust...in fact...even the oven was smoking...it left a stain on the oven too...and the pizza wasn't even cooked on top...*sighs* what a waste...good thing I had another one...my dad totally yelled at me for it...and I mean verbally abuse me...in front of my friends...it was a total embarrassment too...I even broke down crying after arguing with my dad...but it ended when my dad had to go to work...I told him to go away though...because I was really mad at him for embarrassing me in front of my friends, verbally abusing me by calling me stupid and being a damned good for nothing, and for treating me like a little kid; saying things like "be sure to bake the pizza at 300 degrees..." He even burnt the good pizza...and then he blamed it on me...he said I was wasting my time watching TV...well...I always thought it took about 15-20 minutes to cook a pizza...I was watching the TV for about 10 minutes...so I wasn't even expecting the oven to be smoking...well...it was all my fault...I shouldn't have used a cookie sheet as a pizza pan -.-
Well...we ate...I was low on one chair...so AG's talking about someone sitting on someone's lap...I thought she was talking about me sitting on her lap and she's all "No...you can sit on Eriku-san's lap instead"...I turn around and mutter "You matchmaker" AG says "So?" *sighs* Oh well...that was good...we all decided to stand instead anyway XD
The gifts we got for Anime Artist were great too! ^_^ Lj got her Marmalade Boy 3, I got her Marmalade Boy 2 (and the greeting cards we made for her were great XD), AG got her a chibi InuYasha keychain, and Jessie got her a plushie, a bag of chocolates and 10 dollars ^_^..heh heh...Eriku-san didn't get her anything because when I was inviting him over...I was 3-way calling him with Patty on the other line and I didn't want to spoil the special suprise...which were the gifts...so that also meant not telling Eriku-san...he didn't seem to mind though ^^;;;
We watched Yu Yu Hakusho, Fruits Basket, and Inuyasha the Movie 2 ^_^...Eriku-san was surprised to find that Fruits Basket is a really funny anime...he thought it was just girly and full of gay people XD and Lj was finally able to watch the 1st Furuba DVD...she hasn't been able to and now she has...she even cried in an episode...I didn't though...I bawled at the last episodes of the series though ^^;;
Anyway...Eriku-san told me to watch this show called "Stella" on Comedy Central two days ago...he claimed it was on at 12:30 AM...and at that time...I was still making the party favors with Lj...I look at the TV...and it wasn't Stella...it was something else...thank goodness for the TV Guide Channel! =D Stella's on at 1:30 AM over at my place...which is weird because Eriku-san has the same channel system...but his shows appear an hour eariler...weird...we even live just a few blocks away from each other too...anyway...Stella was weird to watch...^^;;; not what I'd call funny (except at some parts they were)...but it could never be as funny as Monty Python...that has got to be the funniest movie I've ever watched!
Well, that's all I have to say now! See you later!
Mystery Picture of the Day:
Hint: This person has shown 15 panty shots in just 20 minutes of the anime she was in.
Daily Poll:
Which anime magazine do you subscribe to?
A.) Shonen Jump
B.) Shojo Beat (Viz)
C.) Takuhai (Tokyopop)
D.) Newtype USA (and if you do, holy cheese are you rich XD)
E.) None!
Random Fact:
An ant can lift 50 times its own weight. That's the same as a human pulling a 10 ton trailer (that weighs about 2000 pounds XD)

Busy Week
|
Ooh...here I go again being gone for 3 days...what's wrong with me? Aw well...
I had a crappy 4th of July...I was informed that we're getting family portraits done today...and we'll be sending them to our very judgemental relatives...they expect me to have a skimpy, supermodel body who wears a size 1 =_=...well I don't....I wear a dress size 12...and I'm not fat...but my brain can't process that thought...the reason? In order for me to be happy, my parents have to be happy about me too...but the bad thing is..my mom wishes I could lose weight too...so...that's also why I don't want some faraway relatives laughing at me for how chubby I look! So I broke down crying on my bed after doing my daily chores...the ironic thing is...I wanted Lj to call me...and about 20 minutes later...she calls me! I tell her about how bad I'm feeling and she and her dad tell me that as long as you're healthy, you should be happy...you shouldn't have to care about how your relatives think about you...they're really nice people...I'm glad I was able to meet them. After that long chat, my mother came home...I told her about how self-conscious I am and she said that she wasn't going to send them to the judgemental relatives...just the ones who really want to see what we look like...which are my aunts...one of them is a fortune-teller/shrine maiden (really cool huh?!) and the other likes to spoil us. ^^
I'll be throwing a party for Anime Artist this weekend...we'll be watching anime DVDs, pigging out on pizza, pop, homemade cookies and ice cream...and there'll be a special surprise for her too! (I won't tell what, just in case she were to read this) I really want to invite Eriku-san and Shimeru-kun...but I have a feeling that they're either out camping...or they're just avoiding me XD I doubt they're avoiding me though...Eriku-san even invited me to go camping with them...but I don't think my parents would want me camping with 4 guys (Eriku-san, Shimeru-kun, Eriku's dad, and another guy friend)...^^;;; so yeah...we'll be watching Fruits Basket, Yu Yu Hakusho, and maybe Spiral...if no Spiral...then I guess we'll just spend the rest of the time partying! ^_^ I'm inviting AG, my cousin (who's one of LT's closest friends), and of course, LT herself!...Lj's my co-host, so of course she's coming...she's even spending the night on Friday to help decorate and plan...because I'm too lazy to do it myself.
So...other than that...I probably won't be on here for another 2 days...lol...Friday and Saturday...it'd be kind of rude of me to just hang on the computer on myO while Lj's here huh? XD I'll be able to be on for a few hours on Thursday..because we'll be car watching in the late afternoon.
Well then, that's all for me! See you all later!
The winner of the poll was a tie between Yu Yu Hakusho and InuYasha!
My mystery picture was Ayumu from Spiral!
Sorry, but no mystery picture or daily poll because I'm going to be uber busy ^^;;; I'll visit your sites though!
Random Fact:
One brow wrinkle has been determined to be the result of 200,000 frowns.
