@_@
After some minor bugs with introductions, myOtaku is back and fully operational once again! Whee.
My day has been a hectic one ever since I woke up this morning. When she saw that I hadn't got up yet, my mom woke me up at 6:40, whereas my bus leaves at 6:45, and in that five minutes I was able to hurry into the shower, jump out, get dressed, have some orange juice, and when I saw the bus coming I had just enough time to sprint upstairs for my jacket and then run down the driveway like a madman. Ah, reminds me of when I had to go to the top of my neighborhood every morning, and the bus would always be waiting for me when I got there, exhausted. Now if only I could get ready every morning in five minutes.. but that's usually less time than what I spend in the shower, haha.
School was the same as every day, except that I suppose it's interesting to note that I got some useful handouts in College Prep (or rather, College Preps, but I'll save that for another entry), and I didn't have too much homework. I finished the homework up in about an hour after I got home, and then went on the internet.
Now I'm going to give you my rant on this new AIM version. The only new usefull features that it gives you are the abilities to play games and send videos, and with the videos you both have to have a webcam. Everything else you can get with, and is much more advanced on, DeadAIM 4.0, an add-on to AIM. In addition to such things as the notifications like the new AIM version has, it lets you tab aim windows, alias your buddy screen names, fade your windows, have multiple accounts open at once, get rid of ads, and more for $5 on jdennis.net. It is far superior to any other add-on or new version, although it is incompatible with the new one, which I found out the hard way. It wasn't until after I downloaded the new version that my brother told me about it, at which point I [accidently] punched a hole in the wall, and then proceeded to uninstall AIM, reinstall the old AIM, and then reinstall DeadAIM. I'll stick with this, thank you.
Woah, is this three days in a row with updates? Crazy.

~_~
Well, test day one is complete. Right when I got home from school (after a 2 hour nap), I took Shin's advice from yesterday's comment and forced myself to stay away from the computer in order to concentrate on my homework. Five hours later, I stand.. sit.. er, type before you, exhausted.
Despite taking out the computer variable in my day, I somehow still managed to find ways to procrastinate; eating, playing with my dog, watching tv -- anything to put off the homework, which was pretty difficult anyway. I had to read some poems for English and do 8 questions on them, book work for Pre-Cal, and book work for Science; all were honors classes, and all extremely stress-enducing. All well, at least now I won't be rushing to do it on the bus tommorrow.
Today was also the day that I got to present my History Fair project. Joy. =_= I suppose it went better than I thought it would, though of course it still sucked. I wasn't nervous standing in front of the classroom, but I most likely should have studied the material a little better; I couldn't answer half the questions that my teacher threw out at me, and my backboard was a little plain (though I did try to draw some quick pictures on the bus, lol). For those of you wondering, I did my project on Steve Jobs and how he contributed to the encounter of computers in America. Shut up. Just.. shut up. <_< I was desperate for a topic.
Stay tuned whenever Greg can get off his lazy butt and update, for another boring-filled entry. :/
Oh yeah, what does everyone think of my shoutbox now?

I just got this fanastic idea! I'll use smilies on my subject line, depending on my mood!
..shut up. <_<
Haven't updated in a while, mainly because nothing is really happening in my life right now, and I'm lazy. I didn't want to bore you all with tedious updates for the sake of updates. As if you're not bored enough here as it is, lol.
Well, v7 is fast approaching, and you all are in for some BIG surprises. Can't say what exactly just yet, but know that it makes what we're using now look outdated. It's well worth the wait, trust me. As for the time you're looking at now.. James has announced that it will be up this month. Of course, we were expecting it around this time last year, so let's keep our fingers crossed. ^_~
As for offline affairs, I recently took my midterms at school, and those, of course, sucked. Sitting there for 2 and a half hours, struggling against falling asleep while stressing your brain to remember things from months past. They're not as bad as the actual finals are going to be, but.. yeah, I could really do without them. -_-
Also dealing with school, I feel that my grades have been slipping as of late. Whereas I had all As and Bs last quarter, I'm getting 2 As, 2 Cs, and 4 Ds on this one. What's the problem? Eh. The computer, I suspect, is the obvious problem. It's also lack of sleep (I get to bed around 1 am every night), which is contributed to the computer as well. Perhaps if I didn't have so many great friends on the West coast keeping me up *WINK WINK* I'd get to bed a little sooner. =_=
So yeah, if you guys have any ideas on how to get my life back on track, it would be much appreciated.

:o
I got a snow day today! :D Take that school exams.
So I was sitting around, boreded, and thought, "why not make a page with all my banners?" It would be a way of archiving my work, as well as presenting it to other people. And I came up with the following page:
Mah banner collection
I know, it's nothing much, and on geocities much less, but it was just a quick and easy thing to make. :) What do you think of the page and my banners?
Oh yeah, I also added some more fan art. Check them out.

Snow Days! :D
Yes, snow days. Some of you hate them, some of you neVER GET THEM BECAUSE YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA! HA! >:O
We haven't had many snow days this year, but the first one that we had got us off last Monday through Wednesday, and part of Thursday, which is great, not only because we got an extended weekend, but because it really messed up our exam schedule, lol. They changed the dates to tommorrow and Wednesday, but now they're predicting sleet and we're expected to get off again. XD Oh well, can't change the weather's opinion of my school. That sort of thing is set in stone, ya know.
There's a catch, of course. We don't have any free days, so we have to make up every day we miss with spring break and the end of the year and all of that crap. But really, if that means sacrificing some of your summer so that you get breaks more often during the school year, go for it. I could care less. However, I am taking a trip to California this year near the end of June, so as long as school ends before then, I'm good, lol.
For a little change of subject, I've decided to bring my digital camera to school tommorrow to video tape my friends and stuff. o-O I'll be able to show you guys the kind of people I hang out with, and I can revert back to it when I'm old and senial! Everyone's happy.
As yes, I almost forgot:
I think this picture speaks for itself.

Skii trip..whee..
Like every year, I'm going to be spending a weekend this winter up in the mountains, skiing. And it just so happens that this coming up weekend is that weekend, or else why the heck would I be writing this post? :/
Anyway, I've been going up every year to skii ever since..about seven years ago when I was invited through scouts as a form of "recruitment" to join their troup, lol. I ended up joining a different one, and taking advantage of these skii trips.
Seven years is a long time, and I'd say I'm decent at skiing. My first year was the only year when I took lessons for basics, and from then on I taught myself, so my training isn't very high, lol. I try to parallel skii, but I'm not sure how effective my technique really is. The sort of slopes that I do are mainly blue square, which I believe is a step below diamond. I do a few green circles for fun every now and then, and maybe one or two black diomands when I want to challenge myself. I have done a double black diamond before, but honestly I think it should have been rated a single. I'm not complaining if I get bragging rights, though. :D
The first time I went skiing was, as I said, fourth grade. I went up with the scouts, had a two-hour lesson, and skiied a bit the first day. My friend who was also on the trip invited me to go night skiing with him and his dad, and after convincing my mom that I'd be extremely careful, I set out..night skiing on my first day. All of the elements were against me; it hadn't been snowing so there was hard, fake snow on the ground, the snow had frozen in the night cold, and it was night which reduced eye sight. All it needed was for me to make a stupid decision, and that came when I went down a blue square. I didn't know how to slow down, so my skiis were parallel, going faster and faster until I hit a bump and slammed my head right into the snow. When I went back to school, I had this huge scab on my forehead, and everyone in my class was asking what happened. So naturally, I told them I got attacked by a polar bear.
This time we'll be going up about 8 hours or so to these mountains in New York with some family friends of ours. Yeah, same ones who I went to on New Years day. That should be fun. Also, going up there, I am going to bring our portable DVD player with system hook-ups, so we can watch movies or play video games in the car. I love long car rides. ^_^

For those of you too lazy to check theOtaku.com..
You can now have a cool layout like me. <_<; Backroom > Edit Styles. Most customizable feature yet that myOtaku has seen, and we are all very gratefull to our main man Adam, Mars, and the other programmers! ^_^ I won't have my specialness anymore, but oh well. ;_;
My new fan art is also up. :) Check it all out in case you havn't already. I swear to God that there's some moron going around and voting "no" to every picture to get his percent up, lol. All of my pictures had at least one vote on them, and those that had only one were at 0%. They have no life. :p I also need to delete my Gotenks picture and send it in..for the second time. O_o The first time I updated it with a version I made from my new high-quality scanner, and this time..the comment says I did it in colored pencil, lol. -_-
My day was alright, I suppose. It was warmer than usual outside (I'd guess the mid to upper 30s), and everyone was predicting NO SCHOOL THURSDAY AND MAYBE FRIDAY because of snow, and now it's all "Oh, yeah, they changed it and now we'll probably get none." I mean, what the smurf?! >:O I also have a lot of homework, like usual, I have to finish up a drawing in Art that nearly everyone else is done with, and I have at least 3 quizes coming up over the next couple of days. Nate had ISS today because of some bitchy teacher, so lunch and Java were pretty boring, and I couldn't get the work from him in Java. <_<

Official Updating Post
As you can see, my page has gone through significant changes! I added my first midi (which is an exact port of Metroid Prime's menu screen music), put up a Shoutbox for people to chat (all be myself -- no one was online <_<), made a fairly simple "Welcome!" banner to greet visitors (from a new anime called Samurai Champloo done by the guy who did Cowboy Bebop), and changed my avatar to match my welcome banner.
But the most noticable of my changes is obviously my layout of cool colors. This is the future of myOtaku. ^_~
So is there anything else I should add for now, or can I finally take a breather?
P.S. Keep a close eye on my Fan Art. I've added new drawings, replaced old ones, etc. which should be up in the coming days. ^_^
