*twidles thumbs*
Hrmm. It's 10:07 and I should be doing that English essay that's due tommorrow. I did the first paragraph, but every time I'm about to start..*cleans entire room*..I'm such a procrastinator. <_> If any of you have read 'The Devil and Tom Walker', and miraculously read this in the next five minutes, and catch me on AIM, and know about how the author presents greed in the story, then, uh..I'd ask you to help, but I have too many morals to let you assist me on a school essay. ~_~
I had a very busy weekend..honest! It wasn't like I just sat around and didn't do my essay; my brother's friend had his barmitzvah yesterday and that took up most of my time. The ceremony itself was over two hours yesterday, and then we went to this lunch place with a DJ and stuff for a long time. There was a dance floor and everything, but the music was horrible and every kid there was younger than me. This one person in particular was trying to call me prejudice against younger kids just because I wasn't having a good time, lol. I guess the food wasn't too bad, but overall, I had things like Double Dash (and the essay, of course!) that I would have rather done.
Today, he continued his party with a visit to Dave & Buster's (w00t!!). To any of you who don't know what davce & Buster's is...I pity you. *angry face from AIM* =p Nah, there are so few of them in the country that I would really be surprised if you did know what it is. Basically, and I know I've told many of you this already, it's a watered-down casino-type place with arcades and coins and tickets. They give you a power card and the first thing you do is put money on it at this certain place. Then you go around to the games where some require you to swipe to play, while others have you first swipe a coin machine and get coins to use. Some people like to call it a kid's casino and an adult's Chuck E' Cheese. Heh, such characters. =)
So yeah, I went there and got some tickets, but I figured that I'll just save them for next time since there wasn't really anything that I wanted for the tickets I had. Oh well, I had fun, ate some food, and called Rachel about four times. @_@
What else, what else..ah yes, I've almost beaten Double Dash after owning it for just three days. I know some probably are going to go egotistical on my ass and be like, "Geeze, you havn't beat it yet?!111 OMG!!!"..but seriously, I havn't had a chance to play it very long. Okay, so, there are four sets of races with four tracks each on 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. I got gold on all of the sets of races for each level of speed (which became significantly easier once I unlocked the secret character, heh), which opened up a final racing set: all 16 tracks in mis-matched order. I beat it on 50cc this morning and it took me over a half an hour, now I just need to find the time to do it on the other two. *wonders what happens when you completely beat the game*
So yeah, better get back to that essay of mine. -.-;

Double Dash!!..is cool beans.
Instead of waiting until Friday to pick up the game, I found out that it had been released on Monday, so I went and picked it up today. My brother got a game, too, True Crime, but we had to go back when we realized he accidentally got FFX-2. -_- Honestly, how stupid can you be?
Anyway, Double Dash has been lots of fun from what I've played so far. At first, I was sort of like, "Eh, levels seem small, karts look big, and everything looks bubbly." Heh, but as you go into it, you realize that they incorporate very fun gameplay, and it's worth a rent at the very least. True Crime, from what I've played, seems like the crap that I expected, lol, but I only got to play one mission. If I took the time to actually try to learn the controls and get into it, it may seem more fun, but meh. Try for yourselves.
After I picked up the games, I had to go the dentist, and one of my teeth is still sore. =/ Then I had some fried chicken, and got on the 'net for a bit.
About an hour ago, I called Rachel and she sounded just awful. She has been out of school all week on a bad sinus infection, and I really hope she feels better soon. This weather really hasn't been treating her very well at all..and I get so depressed when she gets sick and I know I can't do anything to help, especially living so far away and only able to call her at certain times.

Happy birthday, Shin
Yay, everyone say happy birthday to Shinmaru. ^_^ Hehehe. Congrats, now you get to, erm...vote, and uhh...do some other stuff, I guess. '_'; Hope you got some cool presents. =)
In other news today, my parents want to send me to a counsoler if I don't start talking with my brother. O_o They seem to be trying to punish me for being angry at him.
School has really been hitting hard lately, what with Thanksgiving break coming up, and I've been having to deal with lots of homework as well as upcoming quizes and tests. I know I really shouldn't be complaining, what with one thing and another, but it may explain why I'll be on a little less for the next few nights.
Lastly, even though I doubt any of you know what I'm talking about, I have decided to transfer to the new high school that will open next year. My deciding factors were: Close proximity, sleeping in later, a good friend of mine is going, I won't have to provide my own transportation, and new facilities. Though I will be leaving the school I've been going to for the last 3 years, I think the pros of leaving outweigh the cons.

Calling
I really seem to be talking to a lot of people on the phone from OB lately. It's been a while since I've had long conversations on the phone with people, but this week they just seem to be flooding in, heh. So far, I've talked to Mei, Japan_86, and Shy on the phone, so that's been fun. My parents are getting suspicious. O_o;
Speaking about parents and suspicion, some of you may know about my little brother who printed about about 30 copies of this message saying I had a gf, hid them around the house, and proceeded to show my parents. Needless to say, I havn't been talking much to any of them lately, especially my brother. He's 13 years old for Christ's sake!
And then speaking of gf, I got to meet Mei a week or so ago, hehe. I had a great time seeing her, but I really wish we could have had more time to talk and just get away from my parents. Pictures should be uploaded soon. *wink wink nudge nudge to Rachel*
Other than that, not much has been happening, really. My internet enjoys kicking me off every 3 hours and 26 minutes, and I still havn't got around to calling them up and fixing that. <_> Oh, and I saw the Matrix Revolutions a while ago, but it's been even longer since I've posted here, so I might as well mention that. While the whole series was good, I preferred this one over the second, but nothing can beat the originality of the first.
So yeah, I think I've made my life more up-to-date for anyone who cares. o__o; *crawls in his little myOtaku posting hole for another two weeks before updating again*

Halloween comes and goes..
..and yet I sit at my computer as if nothing is happening. I did change my font a bit for the holiday, does that count for anything? =p But other than that, I didn't really celebrate Halloween, which lost its fun a few years ago when I no longer had time to find a costume and dress up, though I don't look down at others for doing so. If you can find fun out of it, more power to you. ^_^
Only six days until I meet Mei, yay! I better get everything prepared this week so we can lose any obstacles that are still in our way. Rachel, if you're reading this, I'd love to talk to you.
I finally got Cable internet after surviving so long in this harsh world with dial-up. It's clearly faster, and better in every aspect, except that it goes out whenever the cable goes out and sometimes we lose the connection due to the router; I'm going to have to check on that. I'm currently taking requests for what songs I should download. If you have any, comment to this post. Preferably punk rock music, such as AFI, 311, and whatever.

A good day...for a change
I didn't have that bad a day today, which is rare, save that PSAT in the morning, but at least I skipped some classes. Then it messed up lunch, which caused me to loose another class, and I'll probably have a lot of homework to make up or something.
Anywho, it's a good day because nearly everything I've been waiting for has come in. Blockbuster finally got Fight Club in, which took just over four weeks, and I picked up Super Mario Bros. 3 for GBA. As if that wasn't enough, my FLCL DVD came in today, despite the site saying that they have yet to ship it, and we got the new EGM which reviewed tons of highly anticipated games, though a few got very disapointing scores.
So yeah, I'm about to watch FLCL, which waiting for people to get online. Sorry I couldn't get on earlier, but what with all of this stuff...=p

New Stuff
I'm finally going to get Cable internet. A lot of my friends have it, and my parents like the fact that we can both be on at the same time. So yeah, if I don't get that up tommorrow, I should have it in about a week.
Erm. I'm sure everyone is aware of this Magdalena issue that I've been going through ever since that post in Mei's banner thread. I've been stressing out over that the last few days, mainly because I'm getting mixed opinions about banning her from people. It wasn't only my decision, people, and others agree anyway. Argue with them. God damn..
Other than that, I havn't really been feeling myself tonight. Depression sunk in out of no where, so if I talk to you, don't expect me to be in the best of moods.

Woah, strange myOtaku. o.o;
Sweet, they changed myOtaku posting around to make it more accessable, and I like it. I'm much too lazy to type that stuff in every time, so it helps a lot. I forgot to put in a color, but I'll do it next time. =p I'm curious as to what other features they may have added..
I just got back from a little trip I had in West Virginia. We weren't really going there for any real purpose, just to hang out with some friends who also went down there, and for my dad to go to a college reunion pary. My friend is thinking about going to the college, and majoring or minoring in the backstage production of plays and such, so I tagged along with him as he toured what he would do and saw a play just for the heck of it, even though drama really isn't my thing on stage or off. The trip wasn't too bad, and I spent much of the time playing video games, watching movies, watching anime, and watching TV in my friend's hotel-like room that he stayed in.
Also, a bit of important news.. My parents now know that I want to meet a 14 year old girl at a mall when we go to Tulsa. So yeah, I told my parents of wanting to meet Rachel, and they seemed all for it as long as we were able to organize the meeting and everything. Yes, Rachel, it is a big weight off your shoulders, heh. I also really loved talking with you on the mic for the little time that we actually did talk; such a beautiful voice to go with such breath-takingly beautiful pictures. ^_^;
