Kicking off the summer
Geeze, I dropped all the way down to #60 in the member list. Not that I can really complain with there being thousands of members, but seriously, folks. There are members like InuYasha Fan019 who haven't updated since March and show up on the first page! The only way I can explain it is that I guess it must have something to do with the Fan Art section, which means that I'll have to get back into my drawing mode again if I hope to raise my ranks. ~_~

On the plus side, though, summer is finally here! No more homework, no more stressing over exams, and no more of that damn school at all, all going towards more time that I get to update my myO. ...well, now that you mention it, I think I'm starting to miss school already. <_<

I've only been out for 3 days, but I haven't hesitated get into the mood. Right when school let out, I packed up and went to the beach with my family and my friend David for a couple nights, which was a lot of fun and included eating out and making the best down at the water when either the weather or the water was kind of chilly. On Saturday, we went straight from the beach to a baseball game, where we watched the Baltimore Orioles take on the San Fransisco Giants, for those of you who follow pro baseball. There, my brother met up with two of his friends, and they all came back to our house, where David and I didn't stay long. As soon as we got the directions, we headed back out to a party at my friend, Jimmy's new house to celebrate the end of school and merry shiney pants day (don't ask). Of course, I was the only one at the party who came wearing shiney pants, which came as a real inconveniance for me, since they had no pockets. Lazy God damned bastards. <_<

We got home pretty late last night, like around 11:40, so David decided to just spend the night at my house, and I was only too happy to oblige considering how sleepy I was (much like I'm feeling right now =_=). So then today we woke up and watched 28 Days Later, then I took him home and picked up a graduation card for a friend of mine who was having a party for the occasion at his house. As soon as I returned home with the card, we went straight on back out to the party, where we would eat and play basketball a lot, but were overall bored largely because of the shear amount of people there; you didn't have much time if any with the host.

We got home around 6, and after relaxing the rest of the time, I sit before you. And speaking of rest, I'm really tired. ~_~

Oh yeah, I think I might have found a job. My friend David's dad owns a car shop, and he's been talking about possibly hiring me. :) He pays 8 dollars an hour during a 7 hour workday, and since I really would only work there for a couple weeks, he can pay me "under the table", so no tax is deducted from that. I'm thinking about possibly taking off Sunday and working the rest of the week, which means that in order to pay for the things I need over the summer (mostly anime and video games and such), I'd need to work 5 days at the least, and the 12 other days would get me about $392 extra that I can put in the bank, or something. Plus, this will give me job experience, and I will actually be able to put on future job applications that I've worked somewhere else before. This is, of course, if David's dad ends up hiring me. The only bad thing: David says that depending on what you do, there might be a lot of hard labor. Hahaha, can you see me working hard labor? Hahahahahahaha... eehhh...
