Second day of work
Two days down, two days left for the week. o_- The work is actually a lot more than what I expected. Sure, you can say that all we did today was chip away paint chips and then paint. But with the paint chips, you never know when you're done, because you seem to get more and more whenever you go back, and we ended up working on it for about 4 hours. As for the painting.. well, it's quite a large building, lol, and we only got about 3/4 done with 4 people working on it for a few hours. Luckily, though, we got off early today because my friend's dad had to drop off a truck, and it was half way home anyway.
I've also apparently become the official driver whenever we need something. Need to get some paint supplies at the store? Gotta drive down. Need to drop off some paint down the street? Greg will do it! Need someone to follow the truk for when we drop it off? Greg, of course. Not that I'm really complaining, but this town that the shop is in is a really busy place, and a lot of places are really narrow, and often times I'll make a stupid mistake when driving and completely lose my credability as a safe driver. >_< Ehhh, I'll get used to it, I guess.
I also convinced my parents to let me order a RedOctane Ignition pad and Max1 off the net now and then pay them when I get my pay check. I had even more of a reason to do this when I found out that while they advertise free shipping for orders over $40, this form of shipping takes 8-10 days plus however long it takes them to ship it out in the first place. I looked into other alternatives, of course, but the next cheapest shipping cost $25. Ah well, I'm glad I ordered it now rather than later. >_<
Even with all the stuff I can buy with the money I'm making, though, I still can't forget that I have summer reading to do. -.-
