Bleh Part 1
Lately I've been feeling pretty bored when I re-read what I post on myOtaku, much less when I first write them. I feel like I'm just stating one event after another, and more so hastily recapping what I've been doing than making it interesting for everyone else to read. Of course, making these damn things interesting takes a lot more time and space, something that in the end, I'm not sure is worth it. I guess that I often wait too long to post sometimes, which causes the events that I write about to get longer and longer, so I think that I'll be posting less of my life in each post to make it interesting without it being extremely time consuming. If anyone who still reads this has any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Phew.. now where do I start in describing my week? Staying with a friend at our beach house, going up to Ocean City to chill, or spending a day at the anime convention? I guess it's a great time to put my new technique to use!

If you happened to read my last post, you would know that I had quite an adventure last weekend with my friend Alex, and the only way to put the icing on the cake was to follow that up by a kick-ass week at the beach with my good friend Andrew, who I've known since I was born and whose dad my dad was friends with for a good 15 years before that. And not only put the icing on the cake, but maybe even top going to movies and climbing on buildings. But first I had to survive one agonizing obstacle: work.

I had permission to take off work on Tuesday to go to the beach for the rest of the week, but even one day at work is torture enough for someone like me, who hasn't had job in his life and now has to do heavy labor. <_< In the coming weeks, you'll probably be hearing a lot from me in the way of ranting about work, lol. On Monday, for example, the only day that I had to go to work for the week, I spent over 6 hours taking staples out of a previously-used awning with a screwdriver. O_O First of all, it was a damn pain to get one staple, but to do that for that long.. let's just say that as soon as it struck four, I clocked out asap and relaxed in the office, knowing that my job for the week was finally done. Damn, am I lazy. The funny thing is, once I got home from work, I went straight to the gym since I haven't been in a while and knew I wasn't going to get a chance for at least another week. XD

I woke up on Tuesday planning to watch some more of Noir, since I've been watching a lot of it lately, but I ended up spending basically the entire morning packing for the beach, and only got to watch about an hour of it before I had to leave. I'm trying a new technique with this anime that I kind of adopted from my English teacher last year. For the last book of the year, he had us take notes in a composition book on the novel The Great Gatsby, where we wouldn't necessarily jot down what happens in the story, since anyone can do that, but rather quick thoughts or questions that we had as we read. So with Noir, I found an old notebook and I've just been writing notes and questions on the series that I may eventually use to write a detailed general review of the series. Nothing official; just for personal enjoyment, and to have something to post on OtakuBoards, lol. It's been working really well, though, and I'm probably going to be using it on future series to, if nothing else, organize my thoughts.

At around 1:00 pm my dad got home from work, and after packing the car, we got on the road as soon as possible to avoid afternoon traffic. We ended up doing good for the most part, I think. I have no idea; I read 8 pages of one of my summer reading books and I was out for the rest of the 3-hour ride. XD So we finally got to the beach house located in Delaware, unpacked the stuff, and got the house ready for my friend, Andrew's, family.

More next time, folks. I better get to bed so I can wake up for work tommorrow. Hopefully this post wasn't as boring as some of my other ones. Not as much stuff, of course, but that information will come with time.
