Not gone yet
I haven't posted in.. exactly a month, so I figured I'd drop in for a few words.
It's not that I haven't been doing anything that I can write about. In fact, it's more along the lines of me not having had any time to write any posts for a while, and if you don't know by now, I'm lazy. Inevitably, school has picked up strong these past couple weeks and started craming in homework and other assignments to get all the grades in before school ends. I think I've just about gotten to the point, however, where I can just concentrate on studying for the finals. The last thing I want to do right now is start to slip into summer-mode before it's over and do badly on these last couple things. Just get it out of the way so you can relax during the summer knowing that you ended the year on a good note. Just one more week to go, tommorrow being my last real day before finals. And as far as summer reading goes, I've always waited until the last minute to read the books, so this year I'm forcing myself to get that done EARLY. I got my summer assignment today, and right after school on the way to the dentist, I stopped by the bookstore and bought '1984' and 'Starship Troopers'. I have to do a project on one, and an essay test on the other when I get back, so I need to decided which book I'll read for which.
I got The Last Samurai on DVD last night. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out; it's really a great movie, in my opinion, especially if you have an appreciation for Japanese culture. Without saying too much about the movie, it actually takes place around the time of Kenshin, 7 years before or so to be exact. So in some ways, the title isn't true, heh. ;p
So yeah, that's about it. I don't really have much to say, lol.
