Dude, I'm a Ninja! -don't exploit the ninja!-
I'm listening to the 'Another Side, Another Story' bgm. X3 I love it.
So, yeah, I'm back. -insert balloon falling from the ceiling with little bits of confetti- And I'm seventeen as well.
The trip to San Antonio was pretty awesome.
The Riverwalk Mall has got to be the best mall I have ever walked in! It was not only huge and all, but I had a store that had anime that I instantly ran into when I saw wallscrolls hanging from the ceiling. I'm now a certified ninja of the Mist Village. XD My brother got the Sand hitai-ate/headband/forehead protector. Also got a Ryoko keychain I never thought I would see up for sale.
We went to Sea World, which kind of disappotined me since it was supposedly the 'largest' one of the three and the Shamu show was awfully short and there were no polar bears. /drama moment commence/Why no polar bears!!??!!/drama moment over/ But it was kind of worth it, too. Ty got his picture with Mom like she wanted and now she's happy to have Sea World pictures with all three of us.
(ergh, these damn pop-ups are really pissing me off! The blocker is one but those damn sites with desperate women keep randomly popping up! I'm gonna kill them, I swear!!!)
My brother and I had a joke with San Antonio when we found out that a trolly would head to Sunset Station. Mainly because, in KHII, there's a Sunset Station you can get to from Twilight Town.
Saw the Alamo and all other missions as well.
After we finished up there, we headed to Houston to the Space Center. We were kind of disappointed about that as well. The tour we took didn't show us much, and I explained to Mom that was because of security reasons (spies, terrorists and what not), but she still had wanted to see more. But the rest of the time we spent in Seabrook was pretty relaxing, I liked it better than San Antonio. The boardwalk was pretty neat. We saw a man juggling with fire.
At some other mall, as birthday presents, my mom let me pick out two items and a shirt from Hot Topic. I got a FMA necklace, a Gaara t-shirt I've been keeping my eye on, and a Roy keychain. I also mangaed to get the fourth Gravi DVD from a Suncoast. ^__^ Watched it last night. Tyler got a Mythbusters box set from a Discovery Store.
so, yeah, that's all I can remember right now...
Just caught the On the Set thing on Pirates of the Carribean 2 a while ago. It looks and sounds more incredible than before. Comments (0) |

REMIX : Miscalculations
It appears that my last post has an error in it. Didn't find out until this morning, after some confusion with Mom, we worked out the ACTUAL date in which this one leaves for a solo vacation. Which doesn't include having to spend three weeks with my friend. Luckily, it doesn't hinder the plans my other friends have cooked up these last two days....
Apparently the two calls last night set off some kind of signal and I had another call today. I promised this friend, Heather, we would get together when we I get back. So, basically, it's summer... we miss each other.... we're bored.... I need to leave this dark hole called a house and see sunlight from something other than a window... yeah...
But the good thing is now that I don't have to miss Kimby's B-day! XD I heard we have to dress-up, which doesn't surprise at all since she was talking of having a Harry Potter themed thing going on.
I just found out Wanda called two hours ago... I say 'screw it, it's too late now and I look forward to trying to sleep early in order to get up one time the next morning.' (am I trying to kid myself here?)
My brother's only worried about breakfast and lunch since it will be close to a five-six hour drive. Comments (2) |

Miscalulations
It seems I have made a wrong estimation on when I would be leaving for Florida...
But before that, the calls! ^___^
Mom and I were watching last episode of Ghost Hunters for the night when someone calls exactly when the episode begins to start. Well, Mom wonders who the hell could be calling so late and I tell her it might be Dad calling in to say when he would be back the next day. But when I lean over to check the ID, I recognize the name as one that my friend, Melissa, used to call by so you bet I picked that sucker up and answered. So, it seemed not all was going as hoped for her and her 'soon-to-be-ex-husband' and we chatted for a bit about what was going and then she asked if we could get together sometime. I told her this week and the next would be no good since my family and I would be leaving for San Antonio Friday morning, and I told her we could get together probably when I get back.
So, we hang up and as soon as I put the phone back and get ready to do some work on the computer, the phone starts ringing again. I didn't get it and neither Mom or me knew the person calling so I dismissed it and went to the hallway where I ran into Tyler. I told him that if that call had better not had been from Wanda. Well, the person calls again and Mom hands me the phone to answer and it was Wanda who apparently just found out that Melissa had talked to me. So we chatted as well which included my notice of leaving and that we had to take two Math classes next year as Juniors.
Then we hung up after a while and I told Mom about seeing Melissa before I leave for Florida and she tells me that it would have to be quick and I asked her why. She tells me that I would be with my friend, Katie, for about three weeks while waiting to go to the convention in Orlando.
My face: O.O
I had no idea I was going to be there for three weeks!
So, basically, when we get back from San Antonio, I would have to repack again to leave for Florida with barely enough time to relax at home, and I want to try and squeeze in some time with a friend I hadn't been in contact with for a whole second semester of school.
KH2, Anime, Manga, and Disappointment with Impatience
.... I think that's the longest title I've written so far...
You can run off and enojy something else instead of reading this, ya know?
Naruto dub is on weekdays now. -insert sarcastic joy- Luckily now I don't have to watch the cheesy 'Believe It-ness' from the beginning AGAIN, I just have to sit back and watch Japanese fansubs whenever. Though I've been greatly distracted lately by Ginga Densetsu Weed. O.O Cute pup hero that is amazingly mature... but the bad-ass dogs, like Jerome and Kyoushiro, are the guys I like...
Went to town this morning and found the second volume of the Loveless manga (yay! Zero was in it! XD). Got it along with the final DBZ volume for my bro. I was hugely disappointed by the chapter of YYH in the Shonen Jump mag. Too short; maybe they're thinking of taking Yu Yu outta SJ?
Speaking of manga, I've been ranting to myself for a little bit lately. After two volumes of Kanpai! followed with a dog-boy, hyper little monster guarding recently resurrected as a vampire, bad-ass vampire daddy, and Yuki Eiri exorcist clone.... I get left at a cliff-hanger with no certain date of a third volume or even certainity a third installment exists!
Need more Kenken-kun. ;_;
Other besides that, I wanna draw a special-type picture for my friend's birthday when I get to Florida in July. Problem is.... I only feel like drawing Axel, Roxas, strange little Luxord chibi that's on the computer paper, and Demyx from KH2.
Hopefully there will be something good in San Antonio to get her if the drawing idea totally evaporates into the depths of an unconscious mind... Comments (2) |

Summer....
Well, it's the first week of summer for me. .... not much to do... 'cept little bro having baseball camp and practice.
Been playing KH II, obsessing over Roxas and Axel and Axel/Roxas, reading forums on some sites to see what the flip is going on these days, and practically surprising my mom each time I tell her I haven't read The Da Vinci Code since school let out.
I seriously need to get back to reading it...
But good news! If luck holds out from now until the time comes, I might be going to my first anime convention in July! -hops around wildly, then stops and slumps on the ground- Meh, the soda ain't working for me tonight... Comments (0) |

Cloud!
I have only one week of school left, which sucks 'cause it's only reviews for TAKS. But that's okay 'cause I got the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie.
Overall, the movie was pretty good. It had Cloud in it. XD But he's not the only reason!
Because Tyler finished Kingdom Hearts II last week, I've gotten more time to play it. Comments (2) |

Blergh
You're the best friend that someone could desire.
Protecting, always ready, and you push yourself to keep everything you believe in.
You're a mature person and you know your targets!
Yeah, not much is happening now that school has finally released the tension of sudden homework near the end of school. One more week! ^__^ Comments (0) |

Free Radio and KH II
Hey!
I'm feeling awfully tired right now so we'll get to the point.
Had a attendence ceremony this morning for those that had perfect attendence for this nine weeks, and they give away prizes as well. I had perfect attendence and my name got pulled for a Sony radio. ^___^ Got Mom to pick it up 'cause I wasn't gonna carry the damn box the whole day and it doesn't fit in my locker.
Mom was real happy so we left to Target this afternoon because she needed to get some things. While there, before we left, Mom asked me if I had seen Kingdom Hearts 2 in the video games section. I told her I would go and look and, duh, I saw it. I asked her why she wanted to know and she told me to get it. O.O Didn't have to tell me twice! But my brother practically went crazy when he saw it earlier. XD He grabbed it and zoomed to the PS2.
That's about it.
I'm gonna be waiting for the next episode of Ghost Hunters next week. They'll be at the St. Augustine lighthouse in Florida. About time, too. I've heard of the ghost stories there, having spent some great weekends there while living in Florida. And I was wondering if they were going to go there one day. ^__^ Comments (2) |

I Guess We Can Say I'm Still Alive...
Yeah, I suppose so...
Anywho, AOL started to go all screwed up on us two weeks ago so I had no way to get to the internet for that time. Mangaed to survive thanks to a sudden obsession with Sly Cooper again. After we had some dude come over to fix the problem, we are now using Internet Explorer and I hope to never go back to AOL again. >b>AOL sucked...
Thanks to Internet Explorer, I've been able to look up more episodes of anime such as Loveless, Hunter x Hunter, Flame of Recca, Gravitation, Fruits Basket, and Naruto. Yay! ^___^
Had a three-day weekend! But the whole testing period is this week... durn... Comments (1) |
