Shocked Beyond Comprehension
Holy crap.... and that may not be the right way to say it!!
Okay, back up to when Mom and I came back from Brookshires. I got the mail and noticed an evelope that was adressed to my parents about me. Well, said envelope came from Washington so, yeah, big time ripping open like an early Christmas present.
Mom was looking at something when I read the letter explaining everything and I nearly screamed/spazzed out from what I was reading to me.
I was nominated to go on a foreign exchange trip to Australia next year for twenty days!! *faints, dies, comes back to life*
So, right now, I'm reserved for the meeting explaning it all next month. But, good news, if it doesn't cost too much, I might be going!
*is so shocked and excited that the person currently writing this goes on babbling and eventually everything she says/types is not understandable*

Newtype DVD
Ok, the other day I put on the dvd I got from my first issue of Newtype (with Cloud on the front!) and, out of the three anime featured, I loved Matantei Loki Ragnarok/Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok.
Mostly with anime, it is always the openings that catch my eye. I liked the opening, Rakuen no Tobira, and just continued watching the episode subtitled. I love the ending, Believe in Heaven, also. This might become a new obsession! :)
I read the article on it later and I'm looking foward to when the first DVD comes out.

Dress For Success Day/Holy Shit!!
Today, for BCIS, we had to dress like we were at a job or something. So, yeah, I wore what I was supposed to and I wore my hair down also.
Everybody is surprised by this for some reason. Maybe 'cause they never saw me in anything else than a t-shirt, jeans, and my denim jacket and with my hair in a ponytail. Katelyn wanted a picture.
So, bascially, everyone I know was like, "Holy Shit, Rachel! You look pretty!" (okay, maybe not that way wxactly, but almost)
My reaction: O.O "Yeaaahh? And?"
I gotta a lot of compliments today for my appearance and I'm glad that Dress for Success day isn't every three weeks or so.

I Believe My Ticker Has Stopped Ticking...
Holy freaken' crap... I hurt my knee in PE earlier today. I was going to kick that stupid ball, but my foot went sailing over it and I had so much force behind it that I had heard my knee almost go 'pop'.
Besides that, CURSE YOU PE!!!
Oh yeah, the reason for the topic name. "kay, my aunt had fowarded me an email that you download the video attached to it and see the clip. This one had what was said to be a British car commercial that you were supposed to notice a ghost in front of it.
I pretty damn forgot that those clips were meant to scare the shit out of you. I pretty much fucking screamed when that zombie-like person popped up on the screen and screamed!
And, because of that, I think my heart just stopped to take a vacation.

-dances-
FULL METAL ALCHEMIST IS BACK ON TONIGHT!! -is happy- :D
Anyway, that was acutally the whole point of the topic, but I'll bore you all with everything else. 'Cause I'm evil like that.
Didn't go to the third Pep Rally of the year because who actually cares? If I wanted to show School Spirit, I would've kept it in my heart and not act like a fool. Also, a friend of mine says "Wasting my voice won't help the football players at all." And I told her, "That's the cheerleaders job."
Also, Melissa and I are just now really putting our efforts in to the anime club. We got a newsletter(tempting, eh?). ^-^
Guess I better stop now, I'm reading chapter 210 of Naruto. So if you wanna chat, just message me.

Warning: Rabid Pen
Okay, let me start at the beginning of the day.
PE: I got real ticked. Perhaps it was a mixture of my monthly time, you girls know what I'm talking about, and the sudden loneliness I got from being out of four soccer teams and put on the last team with whoever was left. So I quickly changed to my regular clothes after class and went back to the gym to listen for when I was supposed to leave for the Middle School so my World History class could present our projects. The anouncements came way too late and didn't even finish when the bell rang.
World History: We were supposed to leave at the beginning of class so we would have more time for the group to present their projects. My group was Hebrews and no one ever told me to do anything. I researched in the first days of preparing but was never told or asked to do a certain thing. But I was glad not to have to say anything. We came back about the end of 1st lunch.
Lunch: Little time to eat but I was relieved to anyway. Katelyn said something about that somwhere in the cafeteria, there was an unclicked pen. Feeling a bit mischevious, I took out my pen, clicked it, and placed it on the table in her view. That's Katelyn, the perfectionist, mind you. She grabbed it and clicked it only to have the top come flying off! Everyone was laughing and I told her that I said, "I should have warned you, huh? It does that."
But, yeah, lunch made me feel better about my day. Now if only I didn't have to be forced to go to the Pep Rally. Melissa told me that we would lose break if we didn't go. Like we Sophomores get breaks any more...

The Idea of Two Friends
A friend Melissa and I have been thinking about this for a while now. I remember telling of my friends in Florida that have an anime club at their High School. Well, we don't here. So Melissa and I have had this plan of making an anime club here to make our experience at our High School a tad more enjoyable. Plus, there aren't really any clubs here we plan on joining anyway.
Earlier at lunch, we had a small chat about it. Melissa said I should get a FMA jacket like her, and that would kind of be the whole indentification thing. She said she would probably do a little funraiser, which is an idea I really don't approve of. I mean, what in the world would we sell? She works at Sonic and I'm jobless and am not a salesperson of any sort. That idea will be discarded hopefully. Plus, no one likes fundraisers.
We really want to do this since we are huge fans of anime, which was how we met in I moved here, and we feel like the anime fans of our school should get together and all that good stuff.
If any of ya'll have an anime club at your school, could you please message me some advice or ideas? It would be really helpful.

Dress Crazy Day, the First Pep-Rally of the Year
I've been lazy to tell you all this, so now I've decided to! Yay! You people should feel worthy.
It was last Friday morning when three boys came to school wearing dresses. Before anyone goes, "wtf?!" on me, know that we were allowed to dress crazy. So they did. But then the teachers told them to change out of the dresses and that situation spread through the school like wildfire.
The dresses were in dress code. Nothing that we shouldn't see in public was not exposed. And yet they let girls like me walk around in t-shirts and pants. What's up with that? Are our teachers sexists(sp)?
So, at lunch, Krista and some other girls came over to our table and asked us if we would sign a petition about it. I did. I thought it was stupid to make those boys change on dress crazy day.
The petition never made it through, though. But, since a person working at the snack bar ruined my school spirit, I went to the cafeteria during pep rally and had a great time there.

YYH RPG
Hey, how's school going for everyone?
Anywho,I signed up on a Yu Yu Hakusho Role-Playing site a few days ago. Now, I had noticed that no one had been on those boards since around the first of August but I was just gonna wait and see. Then a day later another person signed up. We got to talking and now we decided that we need to bring in a crowd.
So if any of you kind, caring, generous, loving people wanna sign on and help up create some Yu Yu Hakusho role-plays, please sign up today! I'm not desperate, we just need more than two members active on that site. And if you are kind enough to sign up, I'm Bandit Taka on there.

On Unrelated News: I have fear that the dubbing cast of Naruto will most defiantely suck. A friend of mine called commented that someone in our PE class is "a prejudice hoe.

Random Obsession and Naruto Commercial
I just got addicted to Jin today.... it became a random obsession so soon I had several screencaps (from several sites and some I collected from later YYH episodes) saved on a document.
And now I have no clue how I became Jin-crazed all of a sudden. Oo hmmm....
Okay, around five minutes ago, my brother called me to see the Naruto commercial on Toonami. Yeah, I planted my ass in front of the television. It's officaly coming on CN on September 10 but I'm worried about the cast besides the fact that I'm pissed that Naruto won't come on Adult Swim. Will they portray the characters we love so much like we expect them to? I doubt it. I'll watch the dub just 'cause I like the show. Especially Iruka-kun. ^-^
