Give Up or Keep Trying?
I need an opinion really bad.

Here's the situation:

I've been roleplaying on a site for nearly a year and a half, enjoying this small board and a guy I had been roleplaying with. However, the people that sign up more than likely never log in again and, very recently, the guy I was roleplaying has vanished without saying anything to me. The newest member, who hasn't even posted as a character at all, had also left and is the head of her own rp board. The administrator hasn't even bothered to post anything, much less log in, for two years!

Over the weekend, I have stuck by the board I'm at and tried to liven things up. I have a chat thread going and a new rp topic, trying to bring back the people.

But the feelings of failure and being abandoned are starting to well up inside me so I've been thinking of whether or not I should stay loyal to this board or forget about until someone actually appears again.
