So Much to Talk About....
I'm just going to say this because it made writing gobs about camp easier: I will try to put the least amount of info about my trip to Chicago as possible.
DAY ONE:
When we got there after the (:gasp:)over seven hour drive, we were so tired. We made the mistake of eating(or waiting) at the Lakeside Ramada Inn Restaurant. We waited 30 minutes for drinks, an hour for food, and mom didn't even get her pasta until we were done eating. Happy to get back to the room, we slept so well to get ready for the Sears Tower in the morning.
DAY TWO:
Chief, Grandma, Cantaloupe and I all had to squeeze into the back of a taxi(my second taxi ride ever...soo cool)while mom rode in front. After the gift shops(ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!) we FINALLY got to go up to the top of the tower. Well, it was...big.
Yeah. That's it.
In fact, it was sooo tall that what you couldn't see(which, really, you could see all of Chicago) was blocked by clouds. My favorite view was over Lake Michigan, which is the closest thing to an ocean I have ever been to.
At lunch we ate at this AMAZING!!!!!! pizza place, Giodanno's...I ordered the stuffed small cheese pizza; it was sooo good just thinking about it makes my mouth water!
We(as in Cantaloupe and I) swam at the pool until Grandma came around and said that Chief and her were going to the lake and we needed to come out soon if we wanted to go, too.
IT WAS AMAZING! As I said, its the closest thing to an ocean I have ever been to, and I have wanted to go to an ocean my WHOLE life.
I came back to the hotel soaked.
That night we went to the Navy Pier, and I was stupid enough to wear heels; I walked barefoot the last ten minutes we were there. We ate at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. from the movie Forrest Gump. SUCH great food and service...we had the awesomest waitress, Holly. I got one of their Run, Forrest, Run lscense plates and a bumper sticker that says "Supid is as stupid does"(you'd think I have a car!).
DAY THREE:
Ever since I was like, five I have been in love with Ancient Egypt. So has my Grandma, and one of the HUGE things about this trip was that we were going to go to the Field Museum to see the new King Tutankhamun exhibit. It was huge and wonderful and sparkly and indescribable, to know I was so close to something so important to history.
The museum rocked, we walked until our feet were about to fall off at four...so awesome. After that we just stayed at the Ramada and watched TV and ate Chinese.
DAY FOUR:
I saw what I have longed to see my whole life.
Dolphins.
They brought tears to my eyes. Such beautiful creatures, and I had finally seen them.
We went to the Shedd Aquarium. My three favorite things were the baluga whales, the manta rays, and, obviously, the dolphins.
DAY FIVE:
We(as in my mom and me, the others were at the Science and Industry Museum) slept in until twelve and then went shopping on the miraculous mile. I got a camo jacket from bloomingdales.
It was the day before grandma's birthday, so we went to a middle-eastern restaurant named The Nile. OH MY GOSH, the food was sooooooooo great! As an appetizer I has this dip for pitas made out of yougurt, zuchinni squash, mint, and something else I can't remember, and lentil soup. It was probably the BEST soup I have EVER tasted in my LIFE. I also had ground beef and lamb with rice and this awesome blend of vegetables. When we went back to the hotel we gave grandma her presents, which consisted of a paper flower, origami crane, and green earrings(Cantaloupe), a British TV series on DVD(Mom), and a completely homemade CD(me). When we got back to our room, we packed our things and got ready to leave in the morning.
DAY FIVE:
The Brookfield Zoo was the best I had ever been to in my life. It also had a dolphin show, but this time we were in front and got SOAKED!!!!!!! It also had the coolest ape house(in the Africa room it was raining!) and this amazing carousel with almost every animal you could think of on it!
Around three-thrity we got into the van and prepared for the road home. We ate at a diner and kept driving until around ten. We didn't make it home in time so we stayed at a hotel around Springfield.
We were all stinky from the zoo so we had to take quick showers before Phych came on. I fell asleep with my glasses on watching it.
DAY SIX:
The unplanned for day was just traveling, nothing more. I listened to my music the whole time, even though I fell asleep for the last couple of hours before we got back to Tiny Town.
I am soooo happy to be back with the memories of the most awesome, first real vacation we ever had. ^_^
(:dances a joyful dance for she is finnally done writing:)BYE, Y'ALL!!!

To the best of my recollection...
Well, I'm not gonna write too much about my time at Tori's camp at all 'cause I've tried a thousand times, it would take three hours at the least to finish writing, and there's no way to explain it...except, I was thrust into a enviroment I had NO idea existed, loved it, then was forced to face the horrible truth. You see, I have been to three Churches in my life: Green Ridge, a TINY baptist church really close to our house; High Point, a larger baptist church; and First Christian of _____, a disciples of Christ church that we are going to currently. Well, my friend Tori goes to a non-denonminational church. When I went with her to church before we left for camp, I just thought that the differences were that the congregation was louder in her church than mine, and that the pastor yelled in his sermon.
When we got to the camp I was already in a bad mood because I had to wait almost six hours in a van with NO ONE I knew in it(Tori had to take the other one), but I have to admit that it looked like a DUMP. It was even worse when found out that I wasn't going to get to be in the same dorm with Tori.
But then service rolled around, and things got better. I have always wished our church was louder, with people shouting "AMEN!" and all, so that was cool. But it got weird when they mentioned altars and speaking in tounges, which i had NEVER heard of before. Around the middle of the service I felt compelled to go up to the altar, and it was like nothing I have ever doen before...people came up to pray for one another, other people cried, and some spoke in tounges. I had never seen/heard anything like it, but I guess I just sort of let them do thier thing while I prayed quietly at the altar.
I never left it until the service ended. I felt so close to God, it was AMAZING.
I got back to our dorm, and the dorm attendent that we needed to make room for came. It was either Tori or me that had to leave even though Poodle-girl and Book had the EXACT same scenario. I clhose to leave cause it was obvious that Tori would have much more fun in that room alone than I would, so i had to walk down the bug-coated hall thirty minutes before lights out to settle in to a different place for five days.
To make a long story short, my new dorm ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone except me and possibly Sleepy were related, and they all stayed up until, like, two talking. There was Mississippi, a girl from (obvioulsy) Mississippi who had an accent and a HUGE sense of humor; Superstar, a somewhat preppy, very nice fourteen year old who was part of the Macho-Man/Superstar feud; Ashley Ashley, Macho-man's cousin and HILARIOUS person; Sleepy, a person so sweet she would melt in the rain; SoftballStar, the coolest jock I will EVER meet; Lavva Lavva, our AWESOME, SWEET, COOL, and laid-back dorm attendent of whom I WILL be in the dorm of next year(who is also Mississippi's mom); Hannah-Banana, who is like, the best person ever to talk to; and Macho-Man, a funny jock-ish person who was conned into going out with a dude younger than her.
Yeah. It rocked.
Over the days I made many great friends, such as FlyAway, Bracelet, Maxi-Me, and a lot more.
Here is a list of memorable things that happened because it's faster to write and we have to go pick up Cantaloupe soon:
1. I accepted the Holy Gost into my heart and spoke in tounges myself.
2.The family runion:Macho-man, Ashley Ashley, and Superstar decided they wanted to take a picture of what they thought to be thier large butts, and Ashley Ashley started to rub hers and made a WIDE LOAD sign to stick on her butt. HILARIOUS!!!!!!I might be able to get a picture, not sure.
3.The Mississippi dance and her accent, both SO funny and only to be pulled off by her and NO ONE else.
4.Bible Quiz. Not that I participated or anything, but going everyday after lunch to watch Tori battle out BroCo and then win by ten points makes it something close to your heart.
5.Brother Bass. SO hot. SO at least twice my age.
I know there are things that I'm forgetting, but I need to wrap this up....
When I got home mom made it clear that I was NOT going to church with Tori, and she also made points that I had thought about intensly over the almost-week at camp. Such as, how much praying are you ACTUALLY getting done by rolling around the floor speaking in tongues as opposed to doing nothing but bowing your head? If rock does not portray a negative meassage, what's bad about it? If your purpse in life is to spread God's love, does it really matter if youl listen to rock or read Harry Potter as long as it does not distract you from that purpose?
There was more spiritual closening than met the eye havin to do with that church camp. Not only with God, but with the disciples of Christ church itself. I thank Tori for the amazing opportunity, and everyone who I knew for bringing me through the journey. I thank the experience itself for giving me the book, Unsweetened Kool-Aid, to be written.
But most of all, I thank God for everything.
And now, as I sit next to tears a half-hour before picking up Cantaloupe, a day before leaving for Chicago, listening to Green Day, loving God, and reflecting, things could barely get better.

(He Looks Like He Has Sunburn, Too)
Yesterday I went to the pool with my friend Red, his mom, and his little brother, GNat. It was the first time GNat had ever been to a pool, and he ended up thinking it was okay.
Red and I swam for a little while(well, I swam, he doesn't really know how), then played volleyball with this beach ball he brought(which was blowing everywhere). We played keep away for a bit, too(I definitely won!), and while he had the ball he gave it to this little girl(and I mean REALLY little, like under five years old) named Haylie. After a while we were playing on teams of boys and girls, Red and Bryan on one, and Haylie, Kaylie(her twin? sister), and I on another.
Eventually we all had to go home, so when I got back I played Nancy Drew: Message In a Haunted Mansion for like the thousandth time...It is soo good, but way creepy because this lady Abby makes a whole lot of ghost illusions. There's this one painting on the stairs that when you pass it it whispers "I see you" in the creepiest voice imaginable.
Not muach happened after that...I helped make decorations for bible camp at church with Trudy, Carnation, and Cherri; then the sunburn I got at the pool became very noticeable...still is. XD
Not much happened today...I've been on the computer for eight and a half hours, and I gave my dog a bath...yeah, that's just about it!
Bye, Y'all!

A West Plains Wedding
It feels SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to be back home...
Anyway, after the HORRIBLY BORING 5-HOUR DRIVE to West Plains we got to swim in the motel pool. The next morning we swam again, then we went to the Climatedodge's house(if you knew their real last name you would think I was a genious for making up that nickname^_^). Mokogirl(Amethyst's mom and me and my mom's friend) ran out and made some remark about how she didn't know that my mom was gonna be bringing another person(as in me), then we went inside to where Amethyst and her cousin, Detective W, were. Mokogirl was flipping through Mom's scrapbook when her sister came in, her daughter LawEmployed with her. Mokogirl's sister left and Amethyst's older sister, Mahogany, entered the county as we started this movie that Luci, Detective W, Amethyst, Cantaloupe, and I had made FIVE YEARS AGO. It was this mystery about who stole the winning dog in a dog show. Amethyst played both The awards announcer and the head detective; Luci played the first-place winner;Detective W played both the third place winner and the second detective(hence her nickname); and I played the theif/second place winner(as I said, I'm EVIL!!!!). Cantaloupe was usually pushed to the side by Amethyst and Dectective W(who whined during the viewing that she was Amethyst's flunky), but even though he was only about five we still let him play the award giver or whatever that's supposed to be called.
After the movie had ended and Mahogany was home we went to some Mexican resturaunt for lunch, then split up after that so Amethyst(the bride), Mahogany, Detective W, and LawEmployed(the bridesmaids) could go get their nails done. Moko girl, Mom, Cantaloupe, and I went to various places, then Mom went to the hotel and we hung out with Mokogirl for a little while.
When we got to the hotel we rested, went out to eat, then swam again(big surprize!) with mom. Cantaloupe and I were playing volleyball, then this one really nice guy named Slyde(still using nicknames) started playing with him after I stopped. Later on,(we swam late into the night) a boy about a year younger than me started playing on Cantaloupe's team and soon his brother(who was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) started playing on ours. We won by four points, even though Cantaloupe and Will were bragging about how much better they were than us. I later found out that JC(Will's older brother) was SIXTEEN! They wanted to meet up with us again today(AND I DID TOO!!!!!!!!) but we had to go to the wedding.
They left, the pool got too crowded, and then we left.
I ACTUALLY wore a dress today. I think I haven't worn a dress out in public since I was about seven... It was black and I wore pearl earrings, a pearl neklace, and a pearl hair tie(forced by mom to wear my hair up).
When we walked in saw Luci for the first time in around five years. She had the hugest smile when she saw us, and I returned it. She had changed a lot!
The wedding colors were pink and white, the groom(of whom, I might add, I have never met) and groomsmen were sporting these colors on the corsages on their tuxes. Then the bridesmaids, LawEmployed and Detective W, walked out in their white dresses and pink sashes; they were followed by Mahogany, who was the Maid of Honor, in the same type of dress with a pink shawl. As the song was winding down, a cloth was rolled in the aisle and the flower girl came.
We were all waiting for the moment soon to come. We all stood as the wedding march began to play, and Amethyst stepped out, as beautiful of a bride as I expected if not more. Could this really be the girl I had played with since before I could remember? The girl I would be excited to see over the long, boring drive? Her beautiful red hair was curled, her clean, white dress adorned with rhinestones was perfect and brought tears to my eyes. The first friend of mine was going to be married.
As I have said before, I apologize for my endless babbling, and if you have managed to keep up this far you are truly a prodigy.

100x2=
Thanks for 200 visits in two months! In celebration I am going to change my site as thoroughly as I can before we have to leave for three days to go to Amythyst's wedding.
Sorry I haven't been on lately, I've actually been kinda busy with other sites, visiting Banana, and talking to friends. It's going to be much worse the rest of the summer, though, what with church camps, vacation bible schools, and our trip to Chicago.
Oh, and, MY HAIR IS NOW GOLD!!!!!!!!! COOOOOOOL!

Activities of a Lazy Girl on Summer Break
Banana rocks! Over the time we spent with her we rode jet skis for two hours, swam for who knows how long, watched this awesome historical movie called True Women, ran around the First Baptist Church before Sunday evening service started, and just plain hung out with her and Jimbo, her fiance.
I signed up for Yahoo! Music last night and was less than pleased...you have to pay extra to burn a song! So, I'm going searching for a different music site as soon as me procrastinating self will allow.
I'm currently writing a story, but it's Animorph-based, so I'm not sure whether I should post it or not...in comments, please tell me what you think.
I've been playing around with EVERYTHING computer- or internet-based now that I have time. Today I messed with the Messenger system, changing appearances, sounds, things of the such.
Mom and Cantalope are at his baseball game; this one is probably the thousandth in the two weeks he's played so far. I like the scheduling in basketball, just one a week, even if they are INCREDIBLY early in the morning.
I'm thinking about changing the appearance of this site...dunno, I really like it this way, but it'd be cool. Advice with this, too?

The More I Said I Would Give You...
IMing rocks! I just downloaded the Yahoo! Messenger with Voice and it's awesome, sure to come in handy over the summer. I have only talked to Tori and Angel so far, I can't seem to catch June BUG. Angel and I once talked for around four hours! I keep on buzzing the window and writing WEEEEE!!!!!, so she calls me a dork!^_^
We just went to GG's for her birthday; Going to the park tomarrow for ABby's birthday party, then BaNana's gonna pick us (as in my brother, Cantaloupe, and I) up to go to her lakeside house to spend the night, very busy!
MY ROOM IS CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!! My bed is now covered with the tie-dye comforter, the floor is showing, and the bookcase is about to burst(as opposed to its contents being scattered about the floor). Somehow the deep plum, shocking turquiose, and musical theme of my room is calming as well as hippie-esque and stylish. I love to just read and listen to Y107(even though rap sucks to its highest content).
drew a pic of Gwen that is now taped to my bulletin board, this is what it looks like:

Awards and Other Activities
Oh my gosh.
I can't believe it.
I won awards for every academic class. Mom said she was about to cry. Chief, GG, Crazy Grandma, BaNana, and even Pennie, who was visiting, were there.
I got awards for being the top in my class in math, reading, science, and social studies; second in writer's workshop; third in spelling; honorable mention from the International Youth Art Exchange, first in spelling bee, reading circle, and book it. Mrs.Sailor announced that I had placed second in a national art fair, but i didn't get my certificate then. Bronze, Silver, and Gold-colored medals were given to the top three spelling bee winners.
Today was workless and partially boring except for watching National Treasure and band. That movie is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome, to all who haven't watched it I suggest you do.
TODAY WAS THE LAST 6TH GRADE DAY OF BAND!!!!!!! It was so sad, but gives me something major to look forward to each year from now on. Flute organized a party for Mr.Bandman, so we got to play very little songs.
It's all going so fast, tomarrow is the last day of school.

Field Trip!
Our pod went on a field trip to a park and a performance of Treasure Island. We walked some trails and ate lunch at the park, on the way there I hung out with The Fox, The Pope-Tripper, and Flute Guy. The whole cast of the play were kids, and the dude playing Long John Silver was kinda cute...
Anyway, on the way back I sat with Yellow Bus, June BUG, and No Alibi. Yellow Bus and I started talking about who we would want to audition to be for the play in the fall, which will be The Chronicles of Narnia. She is absolutely nuts over that movie! As we were talking, June BUG was acting like a beaver! So, this is the cast we had worked out(roughly):
Yellow Bus - Susan
June BUG - Lucy or Mrs.Beaver
The Andalite-Loving Nitwit - The White Witch
YEAH! 'Cause I'm evil!!!!!
Yellow Bus has a nice fake English accent, No Alibi's is okay, BUGgy's is funny, and mine is HORRIBLE!! I need to work on it...
The concert went well, I played my part and said my name perfect! ^_^ Mr.Bandman was very proud of us. Plus, MOM GOT TO SEE US PLAY!!!!!!! She didn't get to see our last concert because she had a bad fibromialgia flare-up and had to go to the hospital. Well, I guess things worked out well.
I've been working with my Stardoll account a lot lately, I'll try to update some time or another.
Sorry if this post was a little boring, I'll try to put up something funny sometime soon!
