I haven't watched any anime lately. Except Samurai Deeper Kyo, which is one of the dumbest anime -ever-. It bores me and I hate the character designs....but i love the music! ^_^

I've just changed my calendar. Oh great. Now Cartman's staring at me - angry, posed like a mummy, and practically screaming "I'm gunna get you! Aarrrgh!" I think it's from that one episode where Cartman tells Butters that everyone's about to die or whatever and he's all like 'save yourself!' and stuffs him into a fridge, to go to some restaurant with Kyle, Stan, and Kenny in Butters' place. idk.

How did my Otaku go from dramatastic/depressing to *this* in less than a year? It's kinda weird.

Apparently, there are a lot of singers/rockers by the name of Aya - in the States & Japan. ^^;; There's this one Aya - her last name's Kamiki - and she's described as the Japanese Avril Lavigne. I don't know why - she sounds nothing like Avril. She sounds like an r&b artist whose name is not coming to mind... >_>

Well. School sucks. (of course). Our new teachers are weird. One talks too fast, the other has a split personality (she's already given us a project - to showcase our talent at the end of the semester. wtf!?). And we got an interesting new kid! He's very scene, but in a cool kind of way. He's a buddhist and a honest-to-god vegetarian, unlike my favorite poser (sarcasm! you guys know who i'm talking about. Starts with an A, ends with an A).

We might have to wear uniforms next year. And I think their gunna be khaki (pants), navy (skirts), and white shirts. Dammit.

And the lunch room food is getting worse and worse each year. But by the time it's, like, practical dog food, i'll be in college. Poor little kids. *laughs*

I got another ear piercing at that supercenter with sucky business. Yay!
And I bought a shirt. It says 'Procrastinators unite! Tomorrow". Perfect for me, isn't it?

What's with American bands naming themselves after Jrock bands that are more than 10 times better than they are?
First there was The Pink Spiders. Now there's The Panic Channel. >_>
That annoys me more than it should. Damned horrid American pretty-boi emo bands.

a testimonial. i think i'll post one more of these, then continue posting jokes:
'While in line at the bank one afternoon, my toddler decided to release some pent-up energy and ran amok. I was finally able to grab hold of her after receiving looks of disgust and annoyance from other patrons. I told her that if she did not start behaving "right now" she would be punished. To my horror, she looked me in the eye and said in a voice just as threatening, "If you don't let me go right now, I will tell Grandma that I saw you kissing Daddy's pee-pee last night!" To those who have known me since 2004 when I registered under the username KuramasGirl: Can you believe it's been four years!? I will never forget the friends I made and I hope you'll never forget me. Almost all of you have left this site a long while ago and I haven't spoken to you in AGES! But I hope you will one day log on, pay me a visit, and reminince about those times. I miss checking up on you guys and commenting! Most importantly, I want to thank you guys for putting up with my bratty teenage angst, as well as my drama, immaturity, and bitching.

I have never been known for sappy or long goodbyes but this site holds so many memories for me. Over the years I've been here, I've changed greatly. I've become more open-minded. I've greatly bettered my graphic and web design skills. I've realized I'm attracted to the same sex and I'm OK with it. My stay on MyOtaku has helped with these matters.

Now I'm headed off to college. I plan to major in graphic design, something I discovered I like to do from the time I spent here. I've matured into a confident, intelligent young woman, focused on creating a bright future for herself. I never thought I would make it this far. I saw a Dir en Grey commerical for Withering to Death on Fuse yesterday. Kinda. I heard "withering to death", looked up, saw "Dir en Grey" on the screen for a split second, and it went off. Heh. I was surprised.

Anywho. I go back to school tomorrah. Which is good & bad.
It's good because I get out of the house and ~~act stupid~~ have fun with meh buddies.
It's bad because...well, it's SCHOOL and I have to do WORK. >_>;;

I had to do book reports over the summer as well. But guess what? I'm working on the last one today. (I finished the first one yesterday.) Sad, isn't it? I'm such a procrastinator.

I'm getting into some new music. Kinda.
There's this Korean band called H.O.T - I like them a lot. Yay Korean rap/pop!
And UVERworld, I think they did a song for Bleach? They're...ok.
And w-inds, whom i've heard of a long time ago but never got to listen to. They're awesome.

I've downloaded Aya's latest - Over Night. It's the ending song for an anime [?] named Le Chevalier D'Eon. It's only 1 min and 30 secs long, though.
I <3 her. I think I should make an Aya layout.

I've been listening to some AnCafe lately. I <3 them too ^^;

Happy belated b-day to Michiru! I'm pretty sure her birthday was yesterday...which was also the same day school starts for her. But she's 18 now, so more power to her!

...I've noticed that the peeps I know in real life don't update much on MyO. Hm...

My bday's in 24 days, but I don't really care about my 17th. In another year and 24 days, I'll be 18. That makes me smile. ^__^

an embarassing 'testimonial':
"Have you ever asked your child a question too many times? My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty training and I was on him constantly. One day we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick lunch in between errands. It was very busy, with a full dining room. While enjoying my taco, I smelled something funny. So, of course, I checked my seven-month-old daughter, and she was clean. Then, I realized that Danny had not asked to go potty in a while, so I asked him if he needed to go, and he said, "No." I kept thinking, " Oh Lord, that child has had an accident and I don't have a change of clothes for him." Then I said, "Danny are you SURE you didn't have an accident?" "NO," he replied. I just KNEW he must have had an accident, because the smell was getting worse. Soooooo, I asked one more time, "Danny, did you have an accident?" This time he jumped up, yanked down his pants, bent over and spread his cheeks and yelled. "SEE MOM,IT'S JUST FARTS!!" While 30 people nearly choked to death on their tacos laughing! He calmly pulled up his pants and sat down. An old couple made me feel better by thanking me for the best laugh they'd ever had!"

Oh, the things I would do to that kid if he were mine. =X
Then again, I wouldn't ask the kid if he needed to potty more than once.

God, I hate this fucking town!

well, it's been a long week...but a good week. *nodnod*
I got a tan. *scoff* As if I need a tan!

it's been a tiring week as well. Goddammit, it's HOT! It didn't rain even once this week! WHY!?!? >_>

lessee...nothing interesting happened actually. A summary:
1. It's hilarous that everyone in our section dislikes our section leader - even the rookies who just met her.
2. She did not deserve red roses. But, hey, i didn't pay for 'em.
3. The rookies this year are annoying (except the fluties and clarinet players - they're actually cool...usually ^^)
4. Diet Coke + Mentos = fuuun
5. Hydrolics = fuuuun!
6. Bee stings = NOT FUN. More liek...ouch.
7. *our gang sign* WHAT!?
8. You do NOT put make-up on during band camp. You're just gunna sweat it off. Ah-duh. [see #1]
9. Don't grab the cock! (Anthony had this stuffed chicken-thing. We said not-so-right things about it. XD)

Ummmmm....

...I'm gunna post these testimonial-type things instead of jokes for the next few updates. But don't worry, they're just as funny.
These 'testimonals' are from people who said something humiliating, and instantly wished they hadn't said it. Like...
"I was at the golf store comparing different kinds of golf balls. I was unhappy with the women's type I had been using. After browsing for several minutes, I was approached by one of the good-looking gentlemen who works at the store. He asked if he could help me. Without thinking, I looked at him and said, 'I think I like playing with men's balls.'"

I've finally listened to Kana.

She's wonderful. And her songs are catchy. Especially Toraboruta.

I have [867 songs // 3.09GB of music] on my laptop now. O_O I think i'll delete some songs...

I can't believe school starts back in 22 days (3 weeks). I'm kinda happy, though. Kinda.

Aggressively billed as a "real band", and including Shiina's accomplished touring musicians Mikio Hirama (guitar), Seiji Kameda (bass), Masayuki Hiizumi (keyboards), and Toshiki Hata (drums), a lot of the buzz about Tokyo Jihen is still Shiina herself.

Shiina quickly matured into one of Japan's most iconoclastic and creative artists, the first stage of her solo career culminating in the landmark Karuki Zamen Kuri no Hana - her third and last solo record, and arguably the most compelling major label musical statement of 2003.

Although critically and commercially successful as a solo artist, the concept of working in a more collaborative band format was not foreign to Shiina, and she had reportedly already decided on the idea of moving in this direction as she worked on her last solo album.

With a history of naming her backing bands (Momoiro Spanner, Hatsuiku Status, Gyakutai Glycogen, Zetsurin Hectopascal), Shiina named her touring band for her Suguroku Ecstacy tour - Tokyo Jihen - debuting it under its own name at the Fuji Rock Festival in August 2004 to strong approval from fans and the media alike. Tokyo Jihen released two maxi singles - Gunjo Biyori and Sonan - in autumn the same year, with their first full-length, Kyoiku,appearing in November.

Shiina Ringo's name appeared nowhere on the first single, reinforcing the idea of a band and letting the songs speak for themselves, and strong sales of both singles and the album, accompanied by heavy hype and widespread acceptance, proved the gamble to be a worthwhile one. Tokyo Jihen's sound retains many key elements found in Shiina's solo work - surprise hooks, loud soft dynamics, jazzy chord progressions, and traditional Japanese melodies - but delivers them through a traditional band framework.

Justin replies, “I think I got a goddamn dog, but I can’t find the son of a bitch!”

Hey there! I'm the one and only TaNi-chan.
I'm sorry to say that this site has lost its spark. I will no longer attempt to keep my page here on MyOtaku updated regularly. This will probably be my last login.

To those who have known me since 2004 when I registered under the username KuramasGirl: Can you believe it's been four years!? I will never forget the friends I made and I hope you'll never forget me. Almost all of you have left this site a long while ago and I haven't spoken to you in AGES! But I hope you will one day log on, pay me a visit, and reminince about those times. I miss checking up on you guys and commenting! Most importantly, I want to thank you guys for putting up with my bratty teenage angst, as well as my drama, immaturity, and bitching.

I have never been known for sappy or long goodbyes but this site holds so many memories for me. Over the years I've been here, I've changed greatly. I've become more open-minded. I've greatly bettered my graphic and web design skills. I've realized I'm attracted to the same sex and I'm OK with it. My stay on MyOtaku has helped with these matters.

Now I'm headed off to college. I plan to major in graphic design, something I discovered I like to do from the time I spent here. I've matured into a confident, intelligent young woman, focused on creating a bright future for herself. I never thought I would make it this far. Again, I will miss you guys - my friends who have known me since I first joined - & I wish you nothing but success and happiness.

I'm currently obsessed with Gokusen - the anime. It's about a teacher who leads a secret life as a member of a mob. It reminds me of GTO...with all of the characters genderswitched. ^^;;
Shin Sawada's my favorite character. Not because he's pretty. He's a genius. The other students look up to him and depend on him for...well...everything.
Also, Shin has red hair. Which is crazy. Red-haired bishounen are so similar personality-wise. o_o Not that that's a bad thing.

I wanna see the drama now.

In other news...
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I might get to go to a con!
And guess who's gunna be there.
Mostly English VAs: Travis Willingham (Roy Mustang), Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric, Kougaji from Saiyuki, Dark), Luci Christian (Sasshi from Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi), and Monica Rial (Momiji from Blue Seed, Hyatt from Excel Saga, and many many more!)
And PEELANDER-Z, a "Japanese Action Comic Punk Band". Interesting. I haven't heard of them before. But, apparently, they've been on Upright Citizens Brigade and MXC.

Then there's another con that will be in a city quite close to mine *is shocked* It's in, like, 6 months. I haven't heard of any of the guests they mentioned, though. (Mindless Tripod Experience? Patrick Seitz?)
I might go anwyay.

A joke. It actually took me a couple of minutes to get this one. ^^;;
