Obligitory post + Some sorta story thing
Well, with nothing to post, I'm gonna start talking randomly about something I may actually start writing. Something that would be quite an accomplishment due to the fact I procrastinate like crazy.
Speaking of which... I have homework sometime.
Anyway, if there's one thing I like, it's crossover fanfics. And wonky ones at that. One must only look at what I do when roleplaying to guess that. In fact, it is from that activity that I got the idea for the Games story plot. And I've gotten a background plot thing. Which I will now torture you with.
The Games: What Was and Is
The Games. A sort of interdimensional Olympics of Death combined with Survior, with the threat of ravenous alien beasts and multiple teams from different sectors of the Multiverse thrown in. In this game, the warring teams must fight for survival on various game planets for the ultimate prize: their lives.
It is a game no one wants to play, but somebody must; for the Overlords -vast, indescribable beings with powers undreamed of- demand it. And it is near impossible to deny the will of one who plays the game of God.
Earth has been lucky to not be victim, though, mainly due to the fact it is a young sector, and most of its subplanes are of no interest. Combine that with the fact that Earth itself is rather unspecatcular and you've got a barrier that repels even the most aggressive of searchers.
Until about now of course. By strange twists of fate, the wall has fallen. And now a new challenger has entered the Game. A young team, with no knowledge of what comes and a severe disadvantage.
Let's welcome Team Earth.
It's odd, it's short, it's somewhat vague and idiotic. But it's a start.
Nothing more to say!
