Well, today was... er... interesting.

A few days ago I talked about that promotion to management that I was supposed to be getting tommorrow. Well, due to bickering between the District Manager and the Owner of the franchise, not only am I not getting the promotion, but I'm actually being demoted to normal employee status, with reduced pay and hours. Had I done something wrong to deserve it, it'd be one thing, but this is completely on the whim of the franchise owner. -.-

I was uber pissed earlier today, but I'm actually in a strangely good mood now, which confuses me.

I just got done playing with my bear plushie, Cinnamon. I was holding him and going through my music collection, started playing Venga Boys, and started having him dance to the music. It was sooo cute, he was really jamming to it. He started breakdancing at one point, then was doing DDR-like stuff, then just doing crazy dance moves that defied all physics. It was way fun.

I think I might be too easily amused. o_o;;

Anyways, I got myself cheered up, at least, which is good. And now due to my lesser work status, I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to get to the store to count the inventory. It's kinda only a small plus to the whole thing, but I'm kinda glad I don't have to deal with the crazyness that Wednesdays tend to be as a manager. Of course, given the choice, I'd still do it, but it's not my call... not yet at least.

Anyways, I'm hoping it turns up for the better, which it probably will.

Well, yeah, I'm not in a good mood today. I don't want to type it all again, but suffice to say that I just found out that my dad is getting screwed out of job he's worked at for 15 years.

Wow, it's been like, what, a month without updating?

Not that I don't have my reasons. It was cause I was busy. Yeah, with work and stuff. Totally not because I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 obsessively. That has nothing to do with it.


Really.

I'm not fooling anyone, huh? ^-^;;

Anywhoo, too much has happened since last time to go into detail about everything, but I've been doing pretty good. I just got my promotion to a full-time manager yesterday, which is exciting, but I'm nervous at the same time. I'm sure I'll be fine, but it's just the anxiety of having to lead an entire store that's weirding me out for the moment. I've never been anyone's boss before. It's a really odd feeling to think that I will be.

So, yeah, this is like my last actual weekend, since after this week I have to start working Saturdays too (A whole 3 hours! Damn you, work! *shakes fist*)

Anyways, that's like, the major news and stuffs.

Oh, and I got my hair cut yesterday. Like a whole 4 inches cut off, I can't believe I did that. o_o;

Though it was cause I hadn't gotten it cut in months, and those four inches were all dry and split ends. >.>;;
