Torn in two...
*sigh* hello everyone. i'm currently faced with a hard dilemma. i think i know what 2 do, but i think its always good 2 get a second opinion. so, here's the problem:
My best friend has fallen in love with one her many talents, ballet. She's very skilled at it and enjoys it to the fullest. Our "clique" of kids we hang out with have been our friends since 2nd grade. but jr. high has changed them. we've kinda seperated from each other, bcuz we find their cursing sort of wrong. however, friendship has still kept them close. we don't curse, they do but their behavior is always liable to rub off. my best friends parents have noticed this and have threatened to take her out of ballet if she doesn't "drop her clique." but they're more than a clique! they're practically family! >__< she's decided to temporarily "ditch" her friends (all but me of course, ^^ hehe), but isn't the loner type and plans to hangout with another group of kids until her parents cool off. she wants me to join her. if i do, i'll be leaving my other best friend (goin on 7 years of freindship). i told her i would hang out with her (since the new croud she's with isn't too close to her now) but i could never completely b able to leave my old friends. she agrees, but i still can't help feeling if i'm just being a rag doll and doing what she says 4 her sake, or if this is what i really should do... and what about my other best friend!? we're like sisters! (well, it feels like that sometimes) *sigh* am i doing the right thing?
