I Will Not Fall

I held my hand out,
I cried for help.
No one heard.
No one helped.
I almost gave up hope,
Began to die.
You took my hand,
And looked in my eye.
You grasped it tighter,
I forever held on.
You helped me up,
I was sure I would not fall.
