It's tradition on Chinese New Year to go to my Chinese Grandfather's house. As ususal, they bought KFC for me and my siblings. As ususal, we ate a lot. ^^
It's so much fun, eating and talking - or rather guessing what they were saying in Chinese. I don't speak a word of it, I only know a few words... Quite hard to understand, but that's what makes Chinese New Year so interesting! I get to pick up Chinese bit by bit. ^^
I've always wanted to be a linguist. I want to learn Chinese, Japanese, German, etc. I'm sure it's fun to know lots of languages, right? ^^ |
