It's the weekend! WEEKEND!!!!
Ah, joy!!! Two days of relaxation... After all those studying and exams... I need a break.

I just finished my Biology practical... It sucked, I tell you. It really did. I couldn't get an accurate answer for almost everything. The colours all looked the same. I wasn't sure whether it was brown or red. Of all of the food tests that I did, I'm only confident of three.

It was a total disaster.

First, I ran out of the solution which my teacher provided and because of that, I couldn't do the test properly - I made up my own story; I wrote whatever I thought will happened... I created a whole new story. I wanted to ask my teacher for more of the solution, but there wasn't enough time to heat it and make my records.

That wasn't so bad, one will have to get stuck somewhere, right? But the most stupidest thing happened. Worse, it was all my fault.

A beaker filled with WATER which I was heating fell. Right on top of the flame. The bunsen burner was totally wet. The water wet my whole table, and my paper was totally wet. I was a bit surprised - how did THAT happened?! But I reacted quickly and turned off the gas. I grabbed a towel and wiped the table. Good thing I reacted fast - I wonder what would've happened if I didn't turn off the gas. Would the thing have exploded? I don't want to ever find out.

Anyway, that's not the only mishap. I couldn't open the bottle of iodine. I really couldn't. I didn't know how to. The bottle was weird - I had never seen anything like it. I asked my friend beside me to open mine for me. Imagine what would happen if I couldn't open the bottle of iodine... It was an important element to the experiments. Without it, I couldn't do the starch test.

Then, there was this question at the back of the paper - something about hydrogen peroxide. It was a give away question. A free mark thing. And I couldn't remember the answer. I was such an idiot. It was totally wasted!

It was a total disaster - I was pretty bummed out. Then I realised that today's Friday the thirteen. Is this an unlucky day or what? I don't believe in superstitions, I believe in logic.

As my friends and I were walking to the bus stop, we got ice-cream at a street vendor. My friend treated me to ice-cream. That was the highlight of the whole day. ^__^

I felt a bit better after that. Now, what's done is done. I can't change the past - I can just concentrate on the future...

I'll work harder next time. ^__^
