The Key to Eden: Episode 5
Okay here it is, the long awaited episode 5. it isn't gonna have u crying, like i promised. more like have u sitting on the edge of ur seat in suspense. here goes....
Episode 5: Affinity
"Gotta hurry, gotta hurry!" yelled Rhea as she got dressed. She quickly pulled a pair of black pants up her long slender legs and over her curvaceous hips. She the put on a white shirt with a low bust, and buckled the sheath of her 2 daggers to her belt loops. Then she slung 2 sashes lined with throwing knives and Shuriken throwing stars over her shoulders. "Damnit," she thought as she laced up her black boots, "Kaito's gonna kill me. I'm still in trouble for that last time." She then grabbed her blue coat and ran out of the arched doorway of her room.
As Rhea rushed through the crowded cobblestone streets of Shoryuzen Spectrum, she noticed something she had never seen before. The streets were lined with warriors who had completed their training. These people rarely mingled in the streets; they spent their time perfecting their craft. I wonder why they're on the streets," Rhea said to herself, still running to her class. "They look as if they're preparing for battle..."
Rhea finnaly arrived at the large gates of the Academy. She proceded into the golden gates and to her class. She ran down the rounded halls, noticing that the were all empty. "Where is everyone?" she thought. "It's way too quiet." Rhea was astonished when she arrived to her class. The room was empty. "Where are they?" she said. "There is no reason why no one is here." An idea then hit her. "Hey, maybe Dr. Masuda will know!"
Meanwhile, Ryujin struggled to make his way to Shoryuzen. He had been fighting scores of Demagen in the valleys of Mt. Shin since sunrise. Exhausted, Ryujin yelled, "Damnit! They just keep coming!" He defeated one group of monsters, and ran through the forested hills of Mt. Shin. Another legion gave chase.
"They seem to be hunting me. Why?" thought Ryujin. He ran into a clearing in the dense forest, and surveyed his surroundings. "I lost them," sighed Ryujin. As soon as he let his guard down, however, a Baskerville attacked him from behind!
Ryujin quickly rebounded and reached for his sword, but it wasn't there. Ryujin gazed in horror at the foaming jaws of the Baskerville. It had his precious blade, and then crushed it. Suddenly, Demage began pouring out of the forest. A golem struck Ryujin in the back and sent him flying into a large tree. Ryujin regained his composure, only to find himself surrounded by the monsters. Ryujin gazed upon these demonic bringers of destruction as the prepared there claws and fangs to massacre him. "Ha," Ryujin laughed apathetically. "So this is how it ends?" The monsters pounced upon Ryujin. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!".....
"....Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" shrieked Rhea. "What was that feeling?" she asked herself. "It felt like something clawing at me." Rhea was then greeted by a vision. She saw Ryujin against the tree, being attacked by the swarm of Demagen. Whe she returned to reality, Rhea said, "That was.... Ryujin? Was that real?...No it can't be." She proceded up a winding stairwell until she reached a large door: the office of Dr. Masuda.
Dr. Masuda is head master of Shoryuzen. He had fought in a great Demagen campaign that began 20 years ealier. When the fighting ended, Masuda was given dominion over Shoryuzen.
Rhea enter the door. "Dr. Masuda?" she said quietly. "Rhea?!" Masuda yelled. "What are you doing her?" "How do you know my name?" she replied. "Don't you remember?" Masuda said. "Your mother delivered you directly to me when you were admitted here. But enough of that. Why aren't you in the battle?" "What battle?" Rhea asked. "Late again, huh?" Masuda said. "Scouts spotted a large concentration of Demagen at dawn. All students were told to support the warriors. That's where you should be, Rhea. Ummm...Rhea?" She was already gone.
"Damn," she thought as she sprinted out of the Academy. "How couldn't I have known? I've gotta help!" When Rhea arrived at the gateway out of the Spectrum, she was devastated. Bodies were constantly being brought into the Spectrrum. She swalled her fear, and ventured into the bloddy battlfield.
Rhea's dream flashed in her head. "It's exactly the same..." she solemly said. Demagen poured over the horizon. Corpses were lying everywhere, and only a few were left fighting. Risho and Sairi were among them. "Rhea!!" they screamed as they fought for their lives. "Risho, Sairi!" she responded. Suddenly a Leo demagen pounced on them. "No!!" Rhea yelled petrified.
Rhea rushed to their aid and drove 2 shurikens into the montrous lion's back. Risho and Sairi struggled to their feet. Risho had large gashes on his chest and arms, and a big slash on his right leg. Sairi had several slashes across her chest, and her left arm seemed to broken. "Guys..." Rhea said, "why are you still fighting? You're wounded." "So is everyone else here," Risho replied. "They'll storm the Spectrum unless we stop them!" Sairi added. "Go inside," said Rhea. "I'll take your places." "DOn't be stupid!" Risho yelled. "This isn't the time for u to try to show me up. YOur life is at stake! We should fight together." "There's no point in the both of you dying!!" Rhea responded. "Besides, I can take care of myself." "Rhea..." Sairi said. "Let's go Risho." "Fine," he replied. "YOu had better not die on me." They proceded to the entrance.
Rhea began to engage the Demagen. She threw 5 knives in acircle around a large number of the monsters. "Lighting Tempest!!" she screamed. The thunder blast incinerated everything in it's path. She the proceded to help the other soldiers. She threw 3 shurikens and killed 3 Baskerville in the process. The monster then surrounded her. She fought out as many as she could, but soon ran out of knives. "Damnit," she panicked. "I thought I had more than that." She was then attacked by a Leo. She unsheathed her daggers and slasheed the monsters belly. Out of nowhere, a Vega, a large Demagen resembling a Golem, only with blades for hands. She tried attacking it, but her knives didn't pierce the skin. The Vega knocked the daggers from her hands and proceded to impale Rhea with its deadle hands. Before the monsters attack connected, Kaito took the blow. He then, with his last ounce of strength, stabbed the Vega with his sword. "NO!!!" Rhea screamed.
Rhea grabbed Kaito and tried to comfort him. "Instructor, wake up!!" she cried. "Rhea...I gave you an A on your exam." he coughed. "Don't be mad, okay?" His eyes then closed. "NO..." she cried. "Kaito don't go!!!"
But there was little time for tears, because the monsters began to move in. Rhea was unarmed, and she knew she couldn't defend herself. So she clutched Kaito's bleeding corspe and braced herself for the worst.
"Meteor Crush!!!" a voice yelled. The Demagen were blown away by the attack. Rhea looked up and was amazed at what she saw. "It's you..." she said. "Ryujin. You're okay!" The vision his beating replayed in her head. He was injured by the skirmish, but not fatally so. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah," she replied, as she let go of Kaito's corpse. "Catch," Ryujin said. He reached into his tattered coat and grabbed a pair of gold and black gauntlets and threw them to Rhea. "It's the weapons i promised you. There is a trigger in the palm that deploys the knives. i think this will be a perfect oppurtunity to use them." "Right," Rhea agreed.
They then turned to face the monsters. Using her new gaultlets, Rhea deployed 5 knives, which were immediately energized with electricity. "Incredible," thought Rhea. Ryujin unvieled a new weapon as well. He unsheathed a new sword, that always glowed with a billiant silver light. "Amazing, he obtained a new sword," Rhea said. "How did he get another one so soon?"
The time for questions had to wait. The Demagen attacked, adn Rhea an Ryujin were ready. One by one the 2 warriors slew the Demagen. "Pierce Beam!" yelled Ryujin as a brilliat beam of light emmitted from his sword and killed 5 demagen. Reha dealt with the last group using her favorite technique. "Lightning Tempest!" she screamded, the attack destroyed the with more power than ever.
The battle left the 2 of them exhausted. "Thanks for the save, again," Rhea said to Ryujin. "You're welcome," he replied in his usual melancholy tone. "May I ask.... who was that man you were holding when i came?" "That was Kaito," she said solemnly. "A friend of yours?" he said. "No, more like a father.." Rhea replied. Ryujin look at her strangely. "I see...." he said. Suddenly, footsteps shook the Earth. It seemed as if there battle had not ended yet.....
I hope you all like it. Spread the word

Then at school i was swamped with work. i had to take the 10th grade writin assessment practice test. it was no picnic. but Malkav can say it was, because he didn't take it. lucky bastard....
Then i went to geometry, i didn't have to take the scheduled test, which was a BIG relief, but i had alotta work to catch up on. so i worked the whole period, helpin Wing in the process. History was the same, long drown out and boring. and in 4th period here i am.

Where was I?
oh yeah, for every 10 evil people there is at least 1 good person. They might be someone like Malkav, who may seem mean and insensitive at certain times, but is really one of the most caring and thoughtful persons in the world. or someone like Luminae and Wing, who have been affected by the evil of this world, but overall retained their purity and innocence. Or someone like Viscious 2 or Memento Mori, whose outstading humor puts a smile of the faces of anyone around them. Or u may meet someone like Juno Cell or Chie, whose bright and optimistic look at life bring hope to any who listen. or u may meet someone like Sindalla... who... how do i say this? Just make u happy, no matter how ur feeling, just by smiling and being near. This world may be tainted with evil people, but if u look hard enough, u'll find true friends in people like these.
All i'm saying is, before u get it in your head that this world is a horrible place to live...take a look at the beautiful stuff in this world. I encourage u to seek out and discover the mesmerizing beauty that is....our Earth

This world....
You know, yesterday my friend said that one day he would be saved from this world. I said that, i like it here, and didn't give it anymore thought.but while i was reading Walk Across Americe by Peter Jenkins for school it made me realize something. There is a lot of beautiful shit in the world.
Have u ever seen any of the really beautiful natural stuff in this world. Have u ever seen the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean? or the sunset over the mountains? Have u seen the northern lights, or the moon peaking over the trees of rural Japan? OR the night sky in a desert oasis? This world is full of natural beauty that surpasses all others.
There are beautiful man-made things as well. The Statue of Liberty, the Taj Mahal, the great wall of China, the Berlin Wall when it was tore down. these things may not be beautiful at first glance, but what it represents is the beauty. Strength, unity, independence, and individuality. Man has created it's fair share of beautiful things.
And then the are the beautiful people this world has. I know that the majority of the world is evil, but for every 10 evil people there is at least 1 good person. I'll continue later, the bell just rang

KOS-MOS
i thought i'd pay a tribute to the greatest female anime character, in my opinion, KOS-MOS from Xenosaga Episode 1:Der wille zer Macht. Though she's a robot, she has more depth than any other character in any other RPG. So gaze at the sheer beauty that is KOS-MOS

Just one of those days
hey guys. i hope everyone a nice V-Day. I was sick, so i couldn't do what i had planned. but other than that, my long weekend was cool. i played kingdom hearts most of the time. i'm trying to beat it on expert mode.
I saw witch hunter robin yesterday. y does Adult Swim show the beginning theme to some shows but not others? it's not fair.
Thursday i was watching Cowboy Bebop, and saw one of the few episodes i missed, Pierro do Fuo. Jet said something that was really confusing. "There is nothing more pure and cruel than a child." What in the hell does that mean? how can a child be pure and cruel? i don't get it, so i was hopin that one of u guys did. if u could tell me it would be greatly appreciated. well, see ya later. i'll post the next episode to the Key to Eden wednesday.

The Key to Eden: Episode 4
Okay, before i go into my story i just gotta say this first. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!! Well technically it isn't Valentines day, but i won't be on a computer then, so might as well get it out. and here's my gift to you guys!
This episode marks the turning point in The Key to Eden. A catalyst if u will. From here on out, the bulk of the story will be revealed. Backstories will begin to take shape, and relationships will begin to unfold. The quest begins here.
Correction: Last night i realized that i made a mistake on the second episode. Rhea was supposed to introduce herself to Ryujin, but it must've slipped my mind. So in this episode assume that he knows her name.
Episode 4: Premonition
Meanwhile, as Rhea slept peacefully, Ryujin Toshinomori stood atop Mt. Shin, a large mountain that overlooked most of civilized Teragenine, and gazed at the sky. Teragenine's 2 moons shone brilliantly in the star-filled sky, and entranced the mysterious swordsman.
"Never have I seen such a beautiful night," thought Ryujin. "But I have a feeling that these nights will become even more rare, as time moves on. I have had to fend off against many more Demagen than ever before, some of likes I've never encountered before. Why are the Demagen becoming more and more hostile? Is something about to happen?Something that will change the face of Teragenine forever? And if so, what is it?"
As Ryujin pondered these very serious questions, Rhea was experiencing her own prophetic revalation, in the form of a dream. This dream disturbed Rhea's tranquil slumber, bringing images to her head of a nature never before seen. The first image was the eye's of a man, one eye purple, one eye gold. The eys were filled with tears, and were losing their lively glow.
The next image was that of a man talking to Rhea's mother. The man was wearing a Teragenine Spectrum's uniform, meaning that he had completed his training. The man embraced her mother, who seemed to be crying. Inside the house, there was a baby girl, no older than 1 year, sleeping in a crib inside the house. The man then left.
The next image pictured the same man fighting hundreds of thousands of Demagen. Wielding a sword, the cut throught as many monsters as he could. However, he was soon overcome, and the Demagen swarmed him and attack unrelentingly until the man fell dead.
As Rhea, struggled with this dream, Ryujin walked through a vast meadow, still pondering some important questions. "Then ther's that girl," he said to himself. "Rhea, i think her name was. What is it about her? She is only the 2nd person the bring about the pain of my curse." "Ryujin stared at his left arm, which was covered in horrible burns and blisters. "Damn," he cursed. "This wound is taking longer to heal than I thought. A burn of this degree should have heal in 2 hours, but 12 have gone by. What gives this girl the power to change the effects of the cirsed placed on me those many decades ago? Why is she different?"
The next scene of Rhea's dream was more horrifying than any other. She saw a large group of Demagen surrounding a Spectrum, which was guarded by about 20,000 warriors, many of which were still in their teens. The warriors succesfully fended of the group of monsters, but suffered many casualties in the process. There force was reduced to no more than 5,000, when a 2nd wave of Demagen attacked. The monsters mutilated and massacred the remaining troops. They then began to attack the barrier around the Spectrum; it was soon broken. The monster proceded to annihilate the spectrum and everything in it.
As Ryujin continued his walk, he sat down by a large tree. "Maybe my wound will heal in an hour, when the sun rises," he thought. Then he fell asleep. In that hour, he was woken by a rustling sound in the trees. He quickly began to check his surroundings. Seeing nothing, he proceded to go back to sleep, when he was attacked by a Baskerville, a Demagen that resembled a horribly mutilated hound. Before the Baskerville could connect with it's attack, Ryujin unsheathed his sword and slashed the montrous mutt.
Before he could celebrate the monster's defeat, a large group of Baskerville surrounded him. "Well," Ryujin said as he prepared to wield his might blade, "I could use a little morning excersise." He then pulled his sword, slightly, which caused it glow. At this sight, the Baskerville lunged at Ryujin. He then jumped into the air and unsheathed his blade, which was now glowing brilliantly. "Meteor Crush!!"he yelled as he drove his glowing blade at the force of a comet into the pack of monsters.
"What is going on?" He said himself. He then ran for higher ground to observed the situation. He looked into the rising sun and was petrified by what he saw. An enormous legion of Demagen flooded over the horizon. "Where are they headed?" he said paniced. Then he understood: the monsters were headed straight foe Shoryuzen Specttum! "Oh no," he thought. "The girl, her and everyone else will be massacred!!" He then rushed off to defend the Spectrum, but his progress was impeded by another group of Demagen. "I'll never make it," said Ryujin solemnly. He then began to cut his way though the horde of Demagen.
The final image in Rhea's dream haunted her. She was in this scene. She was crying her eyes out, as she watched helplessly as Ryujin was brutally tortured by a female demon with bladed tentacles. Ryujin was hanging from a cross, mumbling the same words over and over. "This is my fate? This my fate..." he cried. The words pierced Ryujins heart like a knife.
Rhea finnaly woke up. "That dreams was too eerie." she said to herself. "I wonder what it meant...."She then looked at her alarm clock. "Oh no!" she screamed. "I'm late again!!"
Little did she know, this day would be the catalyst which would change her life, and her destiny, forever.
I hope you like it. Spread the word.
