A Peak into the Mind....
Here's so poetry from the spirit of a staunch individual. I call it...
In the Dusk
In the dusk I feel my spirit flourishes,
Basking in the moon's light of nourishment.
Everything about me left to the imagination,
Is now freely open to interpretation.
The path I walk is one not often taken.
To battle against soceity often leaves one forsaken.
But if you think that bothers me, you highly mistaken,
Because this path leaves the whole world for my taking.
My unique spirit and undying individuality
Will make my dreams transcend into reality.
Always focused, I have no time for formalities,
For I am blessed and cursed with my mortality.
Selfish is what I am often called.
A proud egotist, and they are not wrong.
But these notes are crucial to my life's song.
I do not denounce them for they are with me lifelong.
Offer my power and I'll take my pride.
I'll choose my ego over all riches in this life.
Because be selfless means betraying one's self,
I need no other, only myself.
The fact that I can say these things truthfully,
Serves to confirm that greatness is my destiny.
The word "humble" does not exist in my vocabulary.
The concept of shinking so others can feel big is completely foreign to me.
I won't hide my greatness, no, that just isn't me,
And I am not arrogant, because the whole world can see,
The brilliance that I radiate without the slightest thought.
And this brilliance is always brighter when lit in the dark.
I do not have to announce my greatness,
Because it is always present without cocky statments.
So in the dusk I walk, my light gracing this existence.
I will not die until my soul loses its persistence.
That is how i look at life...in a nutshell. feel free to tell me what u think of this poem. i wrote it today while i was in ISS. Capricious Tyrant was playin a GBA while this genius leaked onto the page. I look foward to hearing u guys' thoughts, so i'll leave with you with this equation, which was proposed cooperatively by me and CT: INDIVIDUALITY>SOCIETY
