The Sadistic Stalkers and Torturers of Elves, Bounty Hunters, and Bounty Heads, or [THAT] for short was founded back in October of 2003. It’s one of the oldest cults clubs on the otaku. And as far as we know, it is definitely the largest club around with over 250 members, and growing with more pyromaniacs every day.

How to Join
Joining THAT is very simple. All you need to do is glance through our rules below, and if you feel that this is the club for you, sign the guestbook stating you wish to join. All other entries to the guestbook will be deleted. If you have questions about THAT or one of its contests, PM the staff here at this site.

Alright ladies and gents, here’s the deal. Obviously, the scavenger hunt has been pushed back. The reason for that is I have not yet organized it, so complain to me about it. =P The reason for this post is this, THAT has announcements! Two, to be exact. Oh, and a quick note to everyone whose signed the GB, you have not been forgotten. I know it’s been a long time, but bear with us.Announcement 1:
After several months of disappearance, one of THAT’s oldest members has returned to the Otaku! Some of you THAT oldies may remember Nikki. THAT’s very own Official Conscious. The girl all but helped form THAT when it had a grand total of like, 5 members. After your three PPTs, Nikki IS the original member. Her new site may be found at the username [One-day]. So go say hello even if you don’t know her. =P

Announcement 2:
It’s that time again… I am putting in another call for help. THAT is looking for a new staff member. That’s right, an actual, full access to posting and welcoming members, events planner, and all around helper, staff personnel. All of our current staff are wonderful and have been tremendous helping hands when need be. But at current, two of our PPT’s are inactive, and the other four of us are busy people. And as we’ve seen, this club can’t run itself. =P
So I am going to recruit another staff. If anyone is interested, then please read the info below.

What are the responsibilities of being staff?
Only active myO members can apply to be THAT staff. Not to say you have to be on here ALL the time, but checking in at the O regularly is a must. If members or myself cannot get a hold of you for weeks on end, then please don’t apply.
After we have agreed on the tasks you will handle in maintaining this site, you will be expected to fulfill them.
Staff are expected to follow instructions given by the founders. They have pretty free reign as far as the club goes, but the PPT’s have the final word.
You will need to be responsible and respectful when it comes to members. You are here to answer questions and communicate with said members. I expect staff to be polite when responding to inquiries.
Once given access to this site, I expect you to not abuse it. Do not give away THAT’s password. And since staff have permission to post to this site without consulting the founders first, do not use this site as your personal journal. All entries must be club related.
And finally, when posting to this site or answering PMs/GB signatures and such, please be aware of your grammar and spelling. Granted, everyone makes typos, myself included, and it’s commonplace to use some short cuts. For example, using GB instead of guestbook as I have just done. We all understand this. But web speak, highly fragmented sentences, or those sentences that run on and on with no punctuation are hard to read for most people and will not be allowed on this site.
How do I apply?
If, after all that, you think you would still like to be a staff member, then I encourage you to apply. Newbie or veteran, it doesn’t matter. This site can’t be active without active people running it. To apply, please PM me at my personal blog [here]. Label your PM with staff application as your subject. Inside your PM I simply need a few things:
