running man
the running man is a man of pain
forever fighting from the beasts within
fighting the beast is a time consuming thing
but eventually
he feels that nothing is left
so he leaves
the running man will live again
forever running
only stopping from time to time
to enjoy the freedoms that love can bring
but then to suffer the pain
that is love lost
so he runs again
why does he run
why cant he find a way to fix
the pain that he has caused
but he never gives it a second thought
for he doesnt know how to give in
to let his guard down
the running keeps him safe
but also kills him inside
but forever more he continues to run
that man in the picture of long ago
that man who never existed
that man who needs to understand
that man who cant be in a world of confusion
that man who cant explain how he feels
that man who will run from the littlest of things
that man who gives in at the slightest of pain
that man...
that man is me
that is why i run
