   The story begans
As the Master Cheif's orbital pod flies through the lower atmosphere he begans to check system operations and his weapons. Five seconds to impact. The pod hits caveing in all surrounding ground. The pod's hatch opens and the Spartan jumps out. Still covered in the blood of an Elite that had been killed three months earlier he pulls out the weapons that he had brought with him. He gathers his weapons and starts off on his long walk through the swamplands on the outer reaches of the covenant military base. Two miles from his target mc sees his first covenant patrol. He waits to see how many there were and upon seeing that there were only were two, he decides to attack them from behide rather than useing his sniper rifle. As he moves from his position he hears movement from his right. He turns just in time to see a piece of gold rush past. This caught the mc off gaurd. Turning back to the covenant patrol, he sees the figure rush up behide one jackel smack him with a battle rifle and disappear before the other jackel even noticed his comrad had fallen. After hearing a thump, the other jackel turned around to see his commander dead on the rocky surface. He retreated to a tree with his back against it when the figure droped from the tree. He grabed hold of the unlucky jackel by the beak and pulling out his knife, he sliced off the jackel's head in one swift slice.
