leave
Alright, so I'm up early again because I've got to leave for the east. I'll get there tomorrow afternoon, not sure on the exact time. two suitcases and a backpack, not bad.

So, yesterday was weird. My little brother has a friend who's got two littlers of kittens. so he took me over to talk me into getting one. Of course the answer's no, because I'm a dog person and the only cat we have I hand-raised so she thinks she's a dog. She sits on command and comes to her name. So cute.

I decided to go find the Spice and Fire groups just because when I get back they'll be all grown up. Basil's back to loving me. I ran out of food really fast so just sat around. He kept coming over to sit next to me. I can pet him without him thinking I'm feeding him, which shocked everyone that was around the pond. Really, if you feed them and don't do anything stupid they'll start to trust you. Florcie and Faust even eat from my hand now. Florcie even sits there and nibbled at my ankle. It was the first time I wore socks around her so she wasn't sure what to make of them. Oh, but Mica's gone. because she wasn't really their baby, she didn't stick to them like the others. She'd get lost every once and awhile but I don't know which pond they were at last so I don't know where to look. She didn't get hit by a car, but there's still the chance she was eatten or froze. I hope she turned up after I left. I had high hopes for that thing.

The Fire group is getting slightly more trusting but since I'll be gone for three or more weeks, that's going to vanish pretty quick. They seemed to like my little brother, probably because he was scared of Attila. Ganders love pushing their weight, not so much as the goose does, but enough.

Oh, and on the way to the pond I caught a baby cottentail. He was over four inches, eyes open, ears up, furry, so he wasn't in any danger. It just freaked me out because there were lots of them all over the place. The communty mower hit their burrow a few plots over. I heard them all calling for their mom after it got dark, so that's good.

And...that's it.

EDIT: Mica's not there. Poor thing. And I can pick Basil up but I won't. Florcie and Faust would really let me have it. My brother's decided he likes Tarragon the best. One of her wings is going to have a large splotch of white on it.
