   nah nah blah
I got to go to a bar-b-q. It's a business thing and it's really really lame. I've got to smile, nod, and laugh politely at all the lame quips. I'll take my own car so I can lie my way out of it. If there's one thing I'm proud of it's my ability to lie. I only do it in nessessity, so don't think too badly of me. Oh, this is my father's business thing, not mine, and that's why it's so lame. My business conventions are fun. We sit in a basement and listen to classic rock, sometimes eating and playing video games. This thing I'm going to is a shame. It's a way for people to check out the families of the other employees. me, being the eldest, is automatically put in a sort of spot light. Being nineteen, I'm going to be hammered with questions about my future.
'I'm going to blah for the fall semester and then I'm transferring to blah. I'll get my BA there and transfer to blah in blah country and go for a masters in blah. Take a year off and help out in orphanages or something in blah country, go back to blah blah school and get a doctrince in blah.'
That's what my answer is supposed to be, so, naturally, that's what I'm going to say. Truthfully, I don't know what I'm going to do next week. I like it that way. I like living. I'm not ready to be locked up in a building for hours on end, studying things that won't help me what-so-ever when I actually get a job. Oh well, I guess this is just life. I know I've got to get my doctrince and get a good job. That's just common sense, but it's submitting to the will of others, to my professors, to my parents, to my clan, that I can't stand.
Freedom, isn't that what every sane person is aiming for? Don't we put ourselves through all the ridicule of school, bad jobs, pressures, so that someday we can have the freedom to live life how we want? They've got a different word for it in our society, retirement. I'm just going stir crazy with the thought that I won't get my freedom until I'm old and wrinkled. Freedom is allowed to those who work forever, but by the time it comes most want to just hang out with their grandkids. Ah, I want freedom now while the cold and the heat don't bother me as much as it will then. I want it while I can move free of joint pains.
I want freedom and immortality. Immortality is only acheived through fame, which is only acheived through being shackled down to a profession that you can rise in.
This is too much for such a...well, I was going to say sunny day but it's raining here. Still, this is too much for a Saturnday.
Well, I guess I'll blather on a bit more to make light of this post. I downloaded DAZ Studio. It's free to download so I recommend everyone go do that. When you sign up for your free account with your free download, tell them I sent you. Just pick one of the names from the list above.
I was supposed to say that as part of the agreement. Now I said it on a public board, so I'm off the hook.
I started backstory for one of my characters from Epic (working title, although it's an awesome one). so, I'll finish that up by Monday and send it off to Unsaid Works. Now that I've gotten DAZ I can hope to attempt to make rough copies of our characters. I'm very bad with it so it'll take awhile. If only I had some help....
Oh, and ther's something else I was supposd to say. SGAH started with me and Elite joking around. Well, now due to the joking of me and Becca we have FYWR.
SGAH, Straight Guys Are Hot, was our thing saying that we're not into yaoi. Like I explained previously, we just don't get it. Well, SGAH was supposed to go for any guy too, with it meaning Straight Girls Are Hot. Well, since SGAH is being signed by four girls and being explained as Straight Guys Are Hot, we had to think of something else too. Me and Becca were listing to some rock over the computer, talking and stuff like that, and I said Fight Yaoi With Rock, but then said it doesn't work so well. Well, she thought it was funny so it's Fight Yaoi (Yuri) With Rock, that way boys can use it too if they want.
Okay, seriously, I don't mind people liking yaoi. One of my very good friends really likes it. I just don't get it. If someone wants to explain I'll gladly listen, but if you start bringing in the brother/brother cousin/cousin son/father stuff, you'll lose me. That's gross, animated or not.
