   out of boredom
I'm really starting to loathe this place. It's cloudy but hot so it's all sleepy. I'm so bored! I'm working on backstory but it's just bugging me. Just one of those days you don't want to work so all the work seems wrong. I think I'm moving too fast but the point of backstory is to just touch upon the basics that shape the character for the story. Annoying. I think most of the time I'm just going to talk about characters and stories on here when I get bored. That's got to be better then complaining about being bored. At least that way I'm doing something.
So, since I'm working of a character from Unsaid Works' Epic, I might as well rant on him.

Aurelius "la montče" Vitrail: In Epic he's going to be the classic (somewhat cheesy) hero. He loves just and truth, and all that stuff. He's got the blue green eyes and golden blond locks of the classic storybook hero, the only thing is he's incredubly ugly. His face repels everyone, he's just hideous. His back ground was that he came from a poor country and large family. His parents put all of their kids up for adoption so they wouldn't starve to death, but because he was fourteen and ugly, he wasn't taken. His mother dies two days after all his siblings leave, leaving only him and his father to work their dying potato crop. I picked potatoes because I thought that would sound the most pathetic, no offense met to real potato farmers. When he turned twenty, his father gave him the little money they had so that he could go travel the world. So, now he's traveling around trying to find his siblings and become a hero. He meets a heroine that gives him advice and stuff like that.

Like I said, he's just a rip off of the storybook hero, probably why I'm not too crazy about it. I like him, just not the corny sappiness of him. I like Ah-nee much better...because he's such a brat. I can't help it, brats are great. Vive le brat! i'll be happy to get back to Luke after Aurelius. Ah, Luke, you're my salvation. Scary thought, but I don't like writing good characters too much. Luke's a good guy only because he's one of my main characters, technically he's not that great. Right, this was about Aurelius.

So, he's a good hero. He comes into Epic at twenty-seven. He should be married or something by now but, well, he's really really ugly. I mean, it looks like someone took a meat tenderizer to his face, tarred him, then ripped the tar off. Such a nice guy though, really nice guy. He's very pleasent, just hard to look at. Zateev is still uglier.
