Unsaid Works said to put this up
"Who's there," Anastasius called out nervously. His light muted blue eyes scanned the dark trees beyond his camp fire for any movement.

He shivered slightly, completely soaked from having fallen into the river not even an hour ago. He wasn't sure how far he'd been swept downstream, but knew he had no chance of finding his cousin in the dark.

A branch shuttered somewhere out in the woods.

"Who's there," Anastasius called out again. "Ai? Ai, is that you?" He thought he heard a voice, but it wasn't Ai's or his friend, Nayeli. "If you're not Ai or Nayeli could you go away?" Whatever was move was getting closer.

Anastasius grabbed a rock and jumped to his feet.

"You better stay back," he called out. "I've got a weapon of unimaginable power. I'll use it on you. I'm serious!"

"Anastasius," a voice called out. The sound of it on the chilly night wind made Anastasius's hair stand. "Anastasius."

"TAKE THAT YOU...WICKED VAPOR SPAWN OF EVIL," Anastasius yelled, throwing the rock into the woods with all his might. he heard the rock crashing through a few spare branches before the satisfying thud of it hitting something big.

"OW!" There was another crash as the person fell.

Anastasius ran forward blindly towards his would-be attacker. He wasn't sure how he'd find the person in the dark, but that was solved when he tripped over them. He turned over to see his attacker.

"Zhek," Anastasius questioned, seeing his friend's husband. "You were trying to kill me?" Zhek didn't respond and just laid there. "Zhek, um, you alright?" Anastasius poked him with a nearby stick. "Hello?"

There came a crash through the trees and a young woman, who Anastasius knew first hand was dangerous when angry, was standing before them.

"Um, hey, Koji," Anastasius said with a nervous laugh. "Someone attacked Zhek, but don't worry, I took care of it." Her round black eyes narrowed.

"Anastasius, what do you know about vapor," Koji asked. Anastasius shruged. "Well, my friend, I'll let you in on a secret. Rocks go through vapor! Now, get off him and help me carry him to our camp. Falling in the river, you're completely hopeless."





I had to type something for school that started with "Who's there". This isn't actually in Epic but it got a lot of response so I put it here.
