   post
I can't get into my archives to collect the posts I need to hand in for English, so this is a complete space waster post.

Not that most of my posts aren't space wasters, this one is just more so. Like, I'm not going to say anything remotely interesting even though I need to fill enough space to bump down my pictures.

That's why I keep skipping and making gaps like I am.

I could always just go through the edit thing and shift through them that way, but just going into the archives is a lot easier.

I think it's really lame that we're supposed to keep a journal thingy just to show the prof. we're writing everyday.

I do usually write everyday, but not journals. Yeah, that's probably why I've got stories done while the other idiots don't. They turn to a journal and gush out their feelings.

I think I killed those a long time ago. I must've killed them with meat. I love meat, it's so yummy.

Yeah, told you this was an empty post. But seriously, they should channel certain feelings into their work. They want to get published, I don't but I've already got like four or five books done. I won't get them published, but they're there if I feel like it.

Most of them are poetry writers. I hate poetry, I really really hate poetry. I hought I'd fail the poetry section of this class since I've never written poetry, but my first poem the prof. liked. I thought that was hiliarious because it was about me not liking poetry. It's in my archieves on this site. It's got some Latin in it. That threw him off, but that was the idea.

The actual poetry project was two poems, one form and one free. I looked through what my classmates wrote, because we're supposed to do critiques, they're like all sick twisted love hate suicide poems. That's exactly why I hate poetry. My form poem was about the Mob and my free poem was about this one character of mine through the eyes of his younger brother. Oh, and they're mobsters too.

Gangs, that's my area, not creepy suicide love poems. How do you critique that? 'Oh, it's a very nice poem, very flowery, but I don't like it because it's a common suicide poem.' Most poets do commite suicide, probably because of the stupid poetry.

Okay, I went off on poetry and English a bit. This is still not going to be long enough for my birdy pictures to get pushed off.

Know what's bugging me right now? Right this second, other then it being 2:42? My back is bleeding. I've got blood all under my nails. I should call these things claws. Why the heck are they so sharp? I can't even scratch an itch. At least it wasn't my cheek or something.

Yeah, I'm rambling. I'm listening to some rock. rock is good. They play some pretty good song this early.

Wow, I'm just glad I don't have any classes tomorrow. College is really good that way. Tuesdays and Thursdays I don't have classes. Fridays suck beyond belief since that's a five hour class with a four hour right behind it. Ugh, and that four hour is Astronomy and it's doubled up this week.

Yep, still not long enough to kick off the raptors. I like having the pictures up so I can't just delete them. I'm going to have to be careful when I do them in the show. I don't want to give people the idea that these are totally awesome pets and everyone should run out and capture one.

Falconry is a sport and it being practiced helps conserve the populations of these birds through captive breeding. It's an incredubly demanding and costly sport. Want to grab your bags and run off to Hawaii for a week with your friends all crazy and spontaniously? Can't. It's very rewarding too, but if you like to be all crazy party fun as much as you can then it's not for you. Bunnies and squirrels aren't little fuzzy animals you stare at and go 'aawww' anymore either. That's raptor food.

I think it'll be okay as long as I stick to showing stuff like that. Of course, the birds in Epic aren't very traditional either. I don't think I've heard of anyone flying a harpy eagle, the others, yeah. But, my falconers are with their birds all the time. You'll almost never see them without the bird.

I should probably explain one little thing. I kept saying 'me' and 'I' when I was talking about the show. Epic is a collaboration, like all television shows, and the falconry part is mine. We spread everything around pretty well except for that part and a few others. It's a microscopic part but I love it.

It started at the swings near the graveyard where Unsaid Works usually takes it's out of office meetings. We'd just came up with the idea of Epic and just added a few characters to our already long list. These guys were special for a few reasons, a big one being they were created exclusively for the purpose of a television show.

I came up with four characters; Aurelius (the ugly hero), Aurora (a bar-maid), Borealis (Aurora's twin), and Adellenine (criminal). We were going in alphabetical order so I started with Adellenine, the one I was least interested in. So, sitting on the grass looking at the rest of Unsaid Works as they sat on swings with my back to the distant graveyard, I started telling them a bit about Adellenine. I made her up about thirty minutes ago so didn't have much to go on. Sam, keeper of the Epic files, took my info on the character I gave her. Then, out of nowhere, I said she had a falcon.

So, it was recorded that Adellenine had a falcon. We soon wandered off to the graveyard to collect surnames. While I was there, I found a name for the first Epic raptor. The headstone read 'Sally A' and then a last name. Sally A was carved close together so it looked like SallyA, which turned into Sallya. And thus, Sallya was born, almost. She had a name but not a breed. It wasn't until a few weeks later when I was back home that I picked gyrfalcon. I was on an Arabic breeders site and I saw his beautiful white grys. I knew that was the kind I wanted after I was a master, so that's what Sallya became. She was originally a black morph, but I saw so many white that she was switched after a few days.

The next raptor to come to life was Victorin, one that's not even in the Epic story. I was working on the backstory for Aurelius. All of his siblings (except him and his older sister) were adopted off. One of his brothers when to a family I called the Merridam. I decided for the fun of it to make them master falconers. It gave me an excuse to keep doing my research on the sport and pretend I was working. so, when Aurelius goes to visit his brother Jedrik six years later, he meets the black falcon Victorin. I picked a black falcon after seeing a quick snapshot of one. Very pretty. Victorin's name came from a random clicking on a baby name site.

My hand hurts really bad so I'll make the last three fast.

The last three raptors came together in a group. We needed a boss for Borealis and rivels for Porqe, Adellenine, and Wheeler. So, I came up with Kasper, Phyre, and Swift. To make things a little more interesting, I gave each a bird.

Aquala, the harpy eagle, came first. I gave reasons already. I still can't get over their talons being longer then a grizzley's claw. I know black bears aren't grizzlies, but they've still got some big claws.

Keefe, the blue eagle, came next. Since she's female, she's not really going to be blue like the male of her species. They're still pretty though and with a name like Phyre, you know his bird would be flashy.

Galahad, the kestrel, had to be small because Swift is the gang's messager. He looks like a sparrow.

Yeah, so, the falconry and the raptors for the show is my area. I think that was the point of all that. well, the really point is getting this really ridiculously long so it'll kick off my pictures and I can get to my archieves.

I'm too tired to do anymore. I'll post randomly when the sun is up if this didn't help.
