   just post
I'm avoiding the rest of my Communications paper. I totally messed it up. It's horrible. I just have to write the conclusion. It's got to be two hundred words. I hate writing papers. I can't write papers. And I don't know what the heck I'm supposed to be doing. The whole thing is a mess. I read it wrong. When I read it quick I thought he was killing his friend because he stole a woman but he's killing his friend because he killed his other friend. Oh well, I'm not a detective.

Epic:
So that I had nothing to distract me from my stupid paper, I haven't watched any TV at all. TV watching is research at this point. I'm watching premeres of everything to see how people before us did it. We need a different format for our show though. I had a format in mind once and forgot it. I have to see if I can find something close to it to get the idea back. The really great news is that there is no show like Epic out there. Which people may not believe. If I say ninja people think Naruto. So wrong. Demons. Inuyasha. No, that's wrong too. Ronin, Samurai Shamploo. That's not right either. The truth is Epic doesn't even have parralls to anime. We've got demons, ninja, ronin, mobsters, nobles, warriors, southerners, hermits, bi-polar disordered, stragglers, wanderers, poets, and other things in Epic. It's a strange little world.
I did finish Zhek's backstory yesterday. I thought it would take a couple minutes and then I could do my paper without breaking off and writing the backstory, but it took hours. Backstory is very important for character developement. If your character has no background then they're not living. You want viewers to care about these characters and to do that they've got to be as real as a fictional character can be. So they need backgrounds and history. People who watch the show don't have to know the backstories, but creators do. They have to know the world and the characters inside and out. I have a great appreciation for anyone who writes for TV, even though I think most of the stuff on now sucks. It's probably because they're cheating and not doing histories and backstories, but I still appreciate how hard it is.
So, Zhek's story came to forty nine pages, that's fourteen thousand seven hundred thirty four words. Zhek and Ai ended on good terms. Poor Zhek, he feels so responcible for what happened to Ai. Ai just told him it wasn't he fault so he should stop worrying about it. Ai's a good kid. But Anastasius is still up there for a favorite. I love all my characters though. Except Cealleah.
