   Academy
I got a B+ on my History oral report. If I didn't go first I probably would've gotten a C- or something. Ha, I know how to play the system. But this is actually an Epic post.

Epic:
For some reason driving home from class yesterday I started thinking about Zephyr, again. I was thinking how Ai and even Ah-nee were pretty good thinkers and had this strong moral connections and deep understanding of right, just, and life. And I thought it only makes sense that since they're noblity they were taught all this. But then it occurred to me that all Zephyrians were like this to some degree. Even Cealleah had this strange sort of philosophical understanding. And then they know a great deal about strategy. It only makes sense that Zephyr has an Academy where everyone goes. This morning as I laid in bed pretending to be asleep so no idiots would bother me, I was thinking about class structure. They'd probably start off the nobles at around five years old going to the Academy. And they'd only be in class with other nobles their own age, meaning it's common for one to be in a class by themselves. And they'd go to the Academy twice a week totalling eight hours. The common families would start at the Academy when they were six. They'd be taught with only their own age too but they'd never be alone since nobility is the sons and daughters of whoever runs the family. And they'd only go to class once a week for four hours, mostly because they just really don't need to know as much as the nobles do. Common families would finish at the Academy at sixteen while nobles finished at seventeen for girls and twenty for boys. The boys have to go three extra years because they have to have extra etiqette training since in Zephyr the boys have to win over the girls for marriage. They're also taught how to build a house and how to defend themselves. Zephyrians don't carry weapons, except for the del Ignis family, so the defense lesson is all hand to hand. And purely defense. It's like, hit them in the neck and run. And the boys are also trained in whatever feild they want to pursue to make a living. If you're the first born son, you're taught your history and the country history extensively. And you're taught the Zephyrian laws. You're not taught how to do another job.
So, during the meeting yesterday I went back to my VII and VIII to see who would be taught with who. Emre was taught alone. Duscha was taught with Britta degli Ruv and Virote no Quasim. Indigo was taught with Angeline degli Ruv and Ronat au Rue. Alethea was taught with Reese du Drake. Bad luck for her. Ai was taught with Odelia du Drake and Gina no Quasim. Bad luck for him. Anastasius was taught with Gabriel degli Ruv, Kulon ow'Zawsze, and Kovit no Quasim. Poor Kovit, he's the only one in that class that's not a first born son. Except for Ah-nee but he's the heir to the family. I was thinking mostly about Ai's class. Technically Ai should be taught with commoners and with him being Shadi's son, Lulani isn't going to want his youngest daughter hanging around him. And then you have Pierce. He's really not going to want Ai near his youngest daughter. If Cealleah wants to control Ai and get himself into the manor house, then he'll use his granddaughter. It'd have to be Ai too since the other option would be Alethea and Reese, Rajan and Duscha, or Anastasius and Odelia and that won't work since they're cousins. Ai's the only von Bavol (that lives in the manor house) that's not related to the du Drake. I guess the question is will Cealleah put aside his hatred for Shadi to gain control of the country?
