   day 24
So cold, so wet. It's pouring.

Today:
I drove to the nest. Ember's covering it more than usual because of the weather. I didn't stay long because of the rain and the need to get this final paper done. I saw little goose...erm, leavings, near the nest. It looks likely that an egg may've hatched but there's no real proof.

Notes:
I'm hoping tomorrow will be nice. The semester ends at 13:00 and it'd be great to see what's going on. I saw no sign of Fennel and if there were goslings I'm sure he'd be there.
