I hate that cricket. I hate that _____ ____ ____ cricket! It's just that one. It sounds like an alarm clock. The other crickets are fine. They sound pretty, but then you hear that thing and it's ten times louder! I was running around at 2:00 with bug repelent and Windex trying to chase that thing away. It's slightly over an inch long. I know that cricket. I saved it from the jaws of my cat and put it outside. I should've let her eat it!
Oay, in less insane news, the geese are here for their weekly feeding. They've all gotten very big. The Tabasco goslings still look cute. They haven't hit that awkward stage yet. Their colors are slightly warping so I'm having trouble telling them apart. The only one I can tell apart from the others is Arson now because he eats from my hand, sticks close to Fennel, and usually has gunk on his head or around his eye. He's always getting into something. The Fire goslings have hit the second awkward stage. They lost most of their baby fluff and their head markings are coming in. I can't tell any of them apart now except Scorch. That's because he's the only Fire gosling to eat from my hand and comes to his name, which I found out he came to his name today. Strange little mean bird. Lilith bit me pretty good. She went for the bread, got my finger and descided she liked the taste. It already feels normal again, so no worries. And she didn't break the skin so no infecion. She stepped on my foot. It felt very strange since she has those leather-y webbed feet. And she aggressively bit my feet. Arson was biting my feet too, but his beak is still small so it doesn't hurt yet. He's able to get the tip of my fingers and like Fennel, he doesn't care that they're your fingers as long as he gets food. He's got to be a gander.
I think that's pretty much it. I got a few pictures so I'll try to get those up in the next couple of days.
