Don't Burn Yourself...
...The tea is hot.

Woohoo, my blood is on fire! You have no idea how long I've been observing this, and now it's here. Tea, tea, everywhere. I skipped my second class today because I wanted to go to a Tea Party, but then I decided not to go. I don't really need to and the last thing I wanted was to go to the wrong party.

Here is a fact about me: I am a patriot. I love my country. I am registered as an Independent, but in all truth I am and Anarchist and have been since I was 14, maybe even younger.

I'm not one of those wannabe Anarchists that yell and scream and are hateful and angry about everything. I am a practical and intelligent Anarchist. I don't run around and break laws...except the speeding law. I don't pay taxes because I don't have money that is taxable. I disagree with most government, but I understand why it is there. My role is more like this:

When your government oversteps its bounds, the limits, when it is devoid of reason, you have to fight back. That is your duty as a human being. Don't tread on me. Sound familiar?

For years our government has started to abandon the things that made it the best government in the world. I saw this when I was a little kid. I knew that there would be a time when we would be forced to revert to the colonial ways.

I waited as we let an impeached President stay in office just because his term was nearly up. I waited as we were attacked. I waited as our President grew into a weak fool who rolled over on his own ideas. I waited as we went to war. I waited as our economy fell. I waited as the little values we held dear started to slip away.

People are angry. People are protesting as they did in the colonial times. My government, I know you want to do what you feel is right but you are wrong. You have been wrong for a very long time. The entire lot of you is out of touch with humanity. You classify and brand anyone who disagrees with you as a right-winged radical or a left-winged whack job. I say, don't tread on us.

It has nothing to do with Democrat or Republican. It is people. It has nothing to do with who the President is. The President is the figurehead, Congress runs the show. People are angry and I say to you politicians; stop classifying us and passing us off as crazy or radical. Without the people there is no country, how about some respect?

Don't tread on me! You are no better than me. A title of Senator, Governor, Congressman, Judge, or President does not make you better than me. It does not make you better than anyone.

A government for the people that is not doing the work of the people. That is what we are becoming. As a human being it is your duty to change that.

I will take leave now. The people have spoken, what is your response government? I will sit here with my cup of Earl Grey and wait with open ears and an optimistic heart.
