Question mark mood= ...I'm watching kangaroos. Eewww, they do some nasty thing. This is why I work with carnivores.

Ack! Kelsey commented twice. I was so excited about them Phils. And the Derby was totally awesome! I forgot to add horses and dogs to the sports I watch. So, my mom thinks I might have PCOS because I only get my period...well I actually don't know how many times a year. Less than ten always. And it's extremely painful. And sometimes they can go for two weeks, which sucks. Lucas was my aunt's husband's nephew so he wasn't related to me. The report said he had a heart attack. Healthy active 7 year olds don't have heart attacks so it was probably the headache meds the doctor gave him. That's just scary.

Let's see, what I meant was that I really have done just about everything. XD I rode elephants, camels, horses, and even a Mastiff. I've traveled out of the country. I've flirted with danger and laughed at death, haha.

Alrighty, so I went to a hockey game the other night. I almost lost my voice and swore up a storm. The home team lost but that was expected. Indiana doesn't even know what hockey is so of course they'll lose. We sat next to the team so you could smell them. Took me back to my hockey days. I could fly. I bet I could beat these boys in a foot race. Well, after I got back in shape, haha. I posted more on my dA. They had cheerleaders so I went off about how hockey should never have cheerleaders. Oh, and I added an ID over there so you guys can go see what I look like if you want. (Don't do it!)

I put dresses in my scrapbook over there. I guess you can't share scrap pictures so I'll put up links. The pictures are grainy/blurry because my brother took them on his phone. His phone sucks compared to mine.

My favorite is number 6. Too dressy for the occasion but I was really sick of all the black and white. ...Okay, now I'm slighty uncomfortable. I put up my ID and get a watcher right off the bat. Usually I don't get watchers or favs until I post more stories. One chapter fragment got two random people favoriting it. Not too shabby considering there is no possible way for people to find anything I draw or write. You have to know my search word to find them.

Okay, I need to stop talking about dA on Otaku. Oh, wait, one more thing: Nevada by Ace Gallagher. Nevada is my character from Mirror Image. Ace asked to draw him so of course I agreed. I love when Epic characters or my characters get drawn, since I don't exactly like drawing. So, that's definately worth a look. That brings it to one fan art for me and one for Epic. And we don't even have a show yet, not bad.

Okay, now I'm finished with all that stuff. My geese came back. If you have no idea what I'm talking about that would mean you haven't known me very long. Recap:

May 31, 2007: I meet a family of wild geese and dub them the Spice Group. The parents are Florcie (goose) and Faust (gander). The babies are Sage, Poppy, Tarragon, Parsley, Fennel, and Basil. There is an extra baby that's not part of the family. I name her Mica. These geese are so wild they don't know what bread it.
June 4, 2007: The Spice Group is accompanied by another family with five older goslings. This family is nasty and totally wild. I call them the Fire Group. The gander is Attila and the goose is Lilith. Goslings are; Ash, Spark, Cinder, Ember, and Soot.
---Over the summer I bond more with the Spice Group, especially Basil. He eats from my hand, sits in my lap, and is almost like a pet. Attila and Lilith quickly become the meanest most aggressive pair I have ever met. Mica, never belonging, wanders off and dies before I leave for my trip to NY where we come up with Epic.
The geese return in early 2008. Fennel of the Spice Group and Ember of the Fire Group become mates. One April 15, 2008 Ember lays six eggs in a pile of mulch. So, with two cracked ribs I walk a quarter mile everyday to feed and water her. May 14, 2008 the eggs hatch and the Tabasco Group is born. They are; Fenugreek, Kindling, Cinnimon, Flame, Garlic, and Arson. Arson quickly becomes the standout. The Fire Group has also returned with goslings. The 2008 Fire goslings are; Smoke, Inferno, Blaze, Char, and Scorch. Scorch is the standout. I don't see much of last season's goslings or Florcie and Faust. I saw Basil once very briefly and Tarragon. They both remembered me which was awesome.
---Now it is 2009 and Ember and Fennel are back. I haven't seen them for a week so I'm hoping she nested somewhere, and in a wiser location. Last season was her first time though so I guess she didn't know it was unwise to nest on a pile of mulch in the middle of the road. There are already five babies but I haven't gotten very close. Since it's early and there are only five my guess is that the Fire Group has started the season, as they usually do. I did encounter a rather nasty pair earlier today though. I'll see once I get to the babies. Attila and Lilith pass on that fire to all their offspring so who knows. Even Ember has a nasty streak. I rarely see it because she knows me so well, but other people have said she was ready to attack them. They couldn't believe the wild nesting goose ate from my hand and let me pet her. It's patience, and a lot of it. I'm very excited to see Fennel's goslings for this year. I haven't seen Tarragon or Basil...unless....

Okay, yesterday there was this gander just standing next to this large tree on the side of a somewhat busy road. He wouldn't move. He shifted legs or laid down, but he didn't move other than that. Other geese would go to him, but he still wouldn't move. So I thought maybe he was hit by a car and sort of stunned. I drove by again close to 23:00 and he was still just laying there. My mom went out early today and came back around noon. She said he was still there. And so, because as the biologist in charge of the geese in the Ashford and Wellington ponds, I a quarter mile to see what's up. He was a good sized gander. Basil was a large gander, that's why I wonder. So, I get really close and he doesn't do anything. He opens his eye, but no alarm or anything. I decide to check the geese at Ashford pond B to see if I knew any of them. There was an aggressive pair and a lonely goose that stood out. I fed the goose but she didn't really know me. The geese I work with a lot come to a call I make and she didn't. She did understand bread so she came from a family who was fed before. After that I went back to the gander. He was still standing there. He opened his eye but let me get really close. He wouldn't take any of the bread or attempt to eat. I got close enough to touch him (of course I didn't because he's wild) and he took his head from his wing. That's when I got a good look. No white barcode marking on the forehead so it wasn't Fennel. Thank God it wasn't Fennel. The reason that gander stood there for two days was because he lost his eye in a fight with another gander. I don't think is dawns on people just how dangerous ganders can be. They're very territorial and those beaks hurt, I know I've been on the recieving end. I walked the gander across the street to the Ashford B pond. The lonely goose came right over to him. He tried eating a dandilion and got in the water. He was very off balance since he only got blinded two days ago.

So, I worried that could've been Basil but now I'm worried it could be Arson. This gander wasn't as big as Basil, I don't think, but it didn't really see me as a threat. That worries me. I might remian him just because now you can definately tell him from the others. Attila and Lilith are easy because they're super aggressive and Attila is a good bit smaller than Lilith. Ember purrs at me, eats from my hand, and let's me pet her. Not to mention she's paired with Fennel who has the white barcode mark on his forehead. Tarragon has a large white patch on her side. Blaze has chubby cheeks, seriously. It's so cute. OH, I wonder if that aggressive pair was Soot and a female. Soot was the only gander from the 2007 Fire Group goslings. He wasn't there last season. There are a lot of ponds in the area and I only have access to four, and the geese don't think of them as first pick ponds.

See, chubby cheeks. He's so cute.

He's 2-3 hours old here. I have a picture of him younger but he's wet. That gunk on his head becomes a trademark. He was always getting into things.

This was just to get a document of his marking. See, looks like a barcode.

Okay, that's it. All those and more are on my dA in my Orinthology file. I got a new camera so I'm just waiting for the 2009 goslings now. Geez this was long.
