Bobby? Bobby commented? But I talk to you on the telephone? Not this week, but later. And Kelsey commented. thanks, Kelsey for comenting even though it was a really short post.

So, yesterday was the first day of work. I said that already but my hands are already used to the weight so I can say it again. XD Right now I work with two guys [Brandon and Kurt] but yesterday Kurt was didn't show up until lunch so it was me and Brandon doing all the really gross stuff. That sludge was nasty. I'm a Biologist so I get to deal with gross body fluids and stuff, but that sludge was worse. Very quickly I realised Brandon was gay. I meantion that now because when my lunch came I went to my dad's office to get it from the fridge and he asked if Brandon was hitting on me yet. So I said, "I don't think he swings that way." My dad was working so he just sort of nodded. Three...two...quickly turns around to look at me. He looked really shocked, it was so funny. Brandon's only 19 and already engaged. I'm almost twenty-one and am still like 'phht, don't hold me back'.

Kelsey, if you do read this I did find a water gun when I was sweeping around a machine. It was pretty random. Metal shavings, metal shavings, dust, water gun, metal shavings. XD

Kurt is 18 and is actually friends with my sister. After he got there he was just really quiet, he kept wandering away from me and Brandon. Then I said one thing that changed everything, "Do you know my sister?" "Who's your sister?" I say her name. "OMG! She's your sister. I love her. She's awesome." Blah blah bladdy blah. My response? "Yeah, she's a bit*h." That word between me and my sister isn't exactly insulting so it's alright.

Today was the second day of work. We had no supervisor so it was fun, except the shoveling muck and stuff. We did get to do the shoveling outside so that was alright. My back is sore. I'm sore everywhere. My highlight, and this is going to make me sound like a masochist, but my highlight was being thrown from the cart thing we ride around in. The factory is huge so we need that to carry the shovels, brooms, and move us around so we can get more work done. Well, I think these things go 40mph, it says 60mph, but I think it's rigged so it won't go that fast. I step all the way down and it doesn't go 60mph. Okay, so Kurt is our driver because I like riding on it more than driving and Brandon is convinced he'll crash it. Well these are carts, so you stand up and hold a rail. We work with grease, are you starting to get it? I have a system on keeping my ground I discovered years ago when we still owned a boat. I loved standing on that thing, and that really did go 60mph. So I was standing on this thing, with greasey hands, holding a metal bar with one hand. I had my left foot back instead of my right, so when Kurt, driving 40mph turned, I lost my footing. I went flying off, and I saw it coming so I tried landing on my feet. I did, but we were going 40mph so the momentum took me from my feet, to my knees, and then tossed me over behind something. Since I saw it coming I did protect my neck and head (the floors are cement). What was really funny was Kurt didn't know what happened so he kept going. I hear Brandon yelling at him to stop, I hear Kurt ask why, and I hear Brandon telling him I fell off. At that point I alreay jump up and tell them I'm okay. So we just continue, but I did have to tell Kurt to go faster. I got two very large bruises on my knees, my left one is swollen. I scrapped up my right elbow, so that was bleeding. And I had to sort of hide it so my dad wouldn't find out. He would probably fire me if he thought I was fooling around. Being his daughter who he refers to as the son he should've had (note to self, never introduce boyfriends XP) means he's harder on me than other people. ...I do have a brother, he's just attached to the X-box.

Okay, so, work sucks but my muscles are already getting the hang of it. They've had a three year break, about time I start using them again. Paper work is definately worse...but I work next to the UAW who hates my family. And it's not worth 9$. Dirty jobs are supposed to be double digits.
