Another long one........................
What a bag of mixed emotion I’m feeling right now,
so please forgive the mood(s) in this post!
What a dirty day here at work! We spent the morning cleaning the desks and the computers! The worse part has got to be cleaning the mouse(s) and having to get on the very dusty floor! Sitting on the floor isn’t that bad, it is just all the dust that comes on everything! It as if we never dust/clean the lab!! LoL The cleaning is the only thing I won’t miss about this job! I luv helping (most of) the students, my boss is cool, and there is a great group of lab assistants also working in the lab!
I have been a ‘work-study’ here in the college’s computer lab for 2 and ½ years and it is a great job! But, man, I hate that I’m ‘graduating’! Well I’m actually just getting my associates degree. Next year I’m going to have to choose getting another job or going to another school, maybe both! The fact this trip to Cali for my dad’s wedding, falls now is actually kind of good! It means that I get to have a relaxing two weeks before having to face ‘All Those’ up coming job interview!
I must say, the sh** in high school never truly prepares you for life after school! High schools should have more real life class included with the normal core curriculum!! This is something I wouldn’t have said back then.
American High Schools are short changing our youth!
Not to sound all ‘old fartie’ and stuff, but ENJOY your high school year, even if it is a living hell to go thru! Because, life can and will take some harder turns! I know what is to be a “Rat in a Cage” (Smashing Pumpkins)!!
Sorry for this little rank! I guess I have to do the adult thing and I’m not really wanting, too! LoL Plus, being covered in dirt is making me all ‘UUUGGG’! LoL
