NOT YOUR USUAL SCHOOL BROADWAY.........
Hey guys! We just had our Broadway Presentation. And believe me, it wasn't your normal school activity.
Our class had "The Phantom of the Opera". The Phantom was "Jiggolo" JV, Christine's boyfriend Richard was Kristian, while the innocent Christine was...Blue Hawk! It was great. But the shocking part happened at the final scene.
On the fight scene , JV was supposed to do a "headbutt" on Kristian. What was supposed to be acting ended up being a REAL HEADBUTT! JV's head hits Kristian's right eyebrow, which causes a not-so-big cut! Ouch! (Not the sword as last reported. Thanks Number 5 for the clarification!)
Anyway, we ended up third place in the contest. The first place was "Miss Saigon", performed by my brother's class, the First Year, Section B. And it doesn't shock me. They used a very big banner, had great music, nice choreography, unbelievable acting (that made some people cry), and even used FIREWORKS!!!
Now for some ANIME NEWS:
1. GMA: Slam Dunk has ended last Friday. It has been replaced by Knock Out! (a.k.a. Hajime No Ippo)
2. STUDIO 23: Project Arms also ended last Friday. It has been replaced by Beyblade.
3. SHAMAN KING OBSERVATION: Some new characters appeared. One of them was the boy with spiky blue hair, Horohoro. In the Japanese version, this was the name used. But in the US dub, they used the name Tray (although the name Horohoro was mentioned in the dub)
That's all for today. Sorry if it's too long. HAVE A NICE DAY!

SHAMAN KING ON CARTOON NETWORK......
Hey guys! I got to watch Shaman King this week in Cartoon Network. Now, this wasn't the first time I've seen the series. I saw the series last year in GMA, a Philippine network. It was dubbed in the Filipino language and its animation was the original Japanese version.
Now I noticed a few things in the American and Japanese version of the series:
- Manta, Yoh's short friend who reads ghost stories, was renamed Mortimer in the US version
- The way they pronounced the name of Yoh's spirit friend Amidamaru is different
- Ren, the Chinese kid with blue hair, has been renamed Len in the US version
- THE MUSIC!!!!! THEY CHANGED THE MUSIC!!!!
- Ryu's voice in the US version. It's a bit weird (for me) because of his accent.
- Mortimer's voice in the US dub sounds very funny! I had more laughs in the first episode of the US dub than the Filipino dub.
But all in all, it's still good.
Aside from that, I've seen Shaman King action figures in our malls already! And to think this week was just its first week in CN! I expected a few weeks later!
Wow! Shaman King in the entire post! Maybe I oughta make a Shaman King theme for the site. Maybe not. I don't know. Oh well!
That's all for today! HAVE A NICE DAY!
EDIT: Blue Hawk did it again!! She just changed my site's theme! Thanks, BH (although the background pic's a bit evil)!

NOTHING MUCH TO SAY...
Well, I don't have a lot to say right now. Just these ANIME NEWS:
1. CARTOON NETWORK (Phils.): Shaman King premieres tomorrow, Feb.21, at 7:30 pm.
2. MOVIE: Now showing in some theatres - Howl's Moving Castle
And I'll leave you this beautiful song which was performed by Louie Armstrong:
WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD
Louis Armstrong
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
That's all for today! HAVE A NICE DAY!

THE PROM, THE CONCERT, AND VALENTINES!
Hey there guys! Last Friday's Prom was great! We had some dancing, had some good food (except for the pasta which tasted so sour many thought it was rotten), and had tons of laughs with the last will and the prophecy (which I made!).
Then yesterday, I went to the school's Valentine concert. It was fun, seeing my classmates go on stage and play those guitars and drums so well. (By the way, aLaStOr10515 was one of them. Great job with the drums, Alastor!) Aside from that, I unexpectedly get FREE food and drinks.
And then, there's tomorrow, Feb. 14, which is VALENTINES DAY! Right now, I have no girlfriend so I guess Valentines Day might be the same as every other year: eating chocolates, saying "I love you" to my friends and relatives, and give cards (if I had the time to buy or make one).
And because tomorrow is Hearts Day, here's an ANIME PIC for you (Thanks Blue Hawk for the pic!):
And that's all for today! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

KUNG HEI FAT CHOY!
Hey guys! Here I am again!
Advanced Happy New Year to all of the Chinese people out there!
Anyway, this Friday we'll be having our JS Prom. It's that time of the schoolyear when the well-groomed Seniors give their responsibility to us, the Juniors. Aside from that, we have to perform dances like the waltz.
I'm not new to Proms, though. Last year, I was the Prom's usher/waiter. I remember how I ran to the hotel's entrance doors (which were about 30 meters away from each other) just to greet the incoming guests. This time, I'll be one of the guests! But since we'll be in a different hotel, I don't suppose the next ushers will do what I did before.
On other stuff, I saw last morning the so-called "Pinoy Anime" of GMA. It was about a lost egg and its adventures. Well, it was okay. But to call it "anime" doesn't seem right to me. Maybe they just called it "Pinoy Anime" instead of "Pinoy Cartoons" to add more impact.
For today's ANIME NEWS:
1. GMA (Phils.): Slam Dunk ranks 1st in a recently conducted survey on the highest-rating daytime show! One Piece lands in 6th place.
2. ANIMAX: This week, ANIMAX will be having its Chinese New Year Marathon. It will feature anime movies like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Captain Tsubasa, and Ex-D. See TV ads for more details.
And for today's FUNNY QUOTE:
"3-time Babe of the Year? Wasn't Babe a talking pig?"
~ WWE Raw Superstar Chris Jericho, talking to WWE Raw Diva (and 3-time Babe of the Year) Trish Stratus
That's all for today! Don't forget, Ash Wednesday and Chinese New Year's Day is this Wednesday! HAVE A NICE DAY!

A FIGHT IN THE SCHOOL!!!!
Hey guys! Just a few hours ago, a fight happened in our school. It started when Romy (names change to protect privacy) punched Jared. Jared's brother, Gary, got mad and confronted Romy. While Gary talked some sense on Romy, Romy threw a fist on him. And the fight erupted. Good thing and it was stopped right away. But it was quite chaotic when it happened.
In other stuff, the results of our Periodical Test were given. And I passed most of the subjects. For those that I failed or where most of the class failed, I took a re-test.
Anyway, here's some ANIME NEWS:
1. ABS-CBN: Gatekeepers was premiered last Monday, replacing Masked Rider Ryuki.
2. GMA: Knock Out! (a.k.a. Hajime No Ippo) will premiere this Feb. 2 on the network, right after One Piece.
3. GMA: By February, GMA will be featuring "Pinoy Anime", original anime made in the Philippines.
4. AXN: Samurai X (a.k.a. Rurouni Kenshin) re-runs again on the channel, replacing Gensomaden Saiyuki.
And for our FUNNY QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Violence is not the answer. The answer is Where is The Love?"
(From my classmate, after that fighting incident)
That's all for today. HAVE A NICE DAY!

SINULOG'S TODAY! PIT SEŅOR!!!
Hey guys! Today is a very special day for us here in Cebu, Philippines. IT'S THE SINULOG FESTIVAL!!! Aside from that, it's also the Silver Anniversary!!!!!! We're about to go to Ayala Center, a mall in our place, to see the fireworks. They say it's Japanese fireworks, so I've gotta go see how it looks like.
Aside from that, we have to make a short documentary on the festival. Well, that's okay!
Anyway, here's a picture I made for the festival:
Okay, so it may not be perfect, but at least I tried!
And that's all for now! HAVE A NICE DAY!

SATURDAY'S A BUSY DAY RIGHT NOW!
Hi guys! I'm very very busy with my research and projects on different subjects. That means I'm not gonna blabber much today.
Anyway, I've just uploaded my class picture in the Net. Let's see if you can guess where I am in the picture. While you're at it, try guessing where Ezel, Number 5, ryosuke, and dEaDLY aNgEL are. (Too bad Blue Hawk isn't here!")
And that's all for today. I'm planning to put a short anime fic now but I have no more time. See ya!! HAVE A NICE DAY!

IT'S FINALLY 2005!!!
Hey guys! It's finally 2005!!! Last night, we had a very good time welcoming the new year. We ate those round-shaped foods like grapes, masi (a Chinese delicacy), tikoy (another Chinese food), cookies, and more! And before that, we had a very nice midnight mass.
On the first seconds of the new year, me and my dad jumped as high as possible. They say that it makes us tall when we do that. It may not be true but it's still fun!
The fireworks were so great! They were all colorful and pretty!
I just hope 2005 will be a prosperous year for all of us.
And today's ANIME NEWS:
1. ABC: Mon Colle Knight is in the Anime Ring Kaisho. Catch it on Mondays and Tuesdays at that channel.
2. GMA: Shaman King just ended today. Tune in tomorrow to see what will replace the anime series.
3. ANIMAX: New animes!!!
a. Captain Tsubasa Part 1 - starts Jan. 12, Weekdays at 6pm
b. Twin Spica - starts Jan. 24, Weekdays at 8:30pm
c. Alien 9 - starts Jan. 13, Thursdays at 10pm
d. Conan the Boy in the Future - Mondays at 9pm
*Philippine and Singapore time

And to end this post, here's a little message I've sent to my friends' cellphone last midnight:
I offer this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two.
Although it's been said, many times, many ways,
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you!!!
That's all for today! HAVE A NICE DAY!

THE FINAL DAY OF 2004!
Today is December 31, 2004. The final day of the year 2004. Now I recall the events that happened in my life which made 2004 eventful:
- The first anniversary of my myOtaku site!
- The death of my former PE teacher and my grandfather
- The many jobs I got this year (e.g. usher/butler, part-time detective, webmaster)
- My class being 1st place in the Intramurals
- My class being the champ in the Choral Reading contest (although we only practiced the day before)
- When our teacher got VERY MAD at us!!!
- PUBLIC HUMILIATION! The principal scolded us in front of all the students and teachers.
- The return of Samurai X and Hunter X Hunter
- The closure of my FUN STUFF Site *cries*
- WRESTLEMANIA XX!!!!!
- ANIMAX!!! (Plus the fact that we don't have it in our place! WAAAHHH!!!)
- When my myO site got the 1000+ hits and me having a popularity rating of 200+
- And today itself!!!!
This year was not really so great, especially since I experienced for the very first time my loved one passing away.
Tomorrow will be 2005. Will it be a good year? Or will it be bad? That will be decided by each one of us. As Aya of Weiss Kruzz once said:
The future is not something to see, but something to create.
For now, let's enjoy the fireworks, eat the round fruits, indulge at the pear-shaped ham, blow those torotots (paper horns), and count the seconds before 2005.
And since this IS my last post for 2004, let me say this:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
****************************
EXTRA STUFF:
Auld Lang Syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
And here's a hand, my trusty friend
And gie's a hand o' thine
We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
