   IT'S FINALLY MAY!
Well guys, it's finally May! I have to admit, I'm quite excited on this month. Mothers' Day, elections, birthdays of my fave anime characters...but this May, it would also be a sad goodbye. Remember when I told you that some of my classmates will migrate? (If not, then no need to review. I ALREADY REFRESHED IT TO YOU!) Well, one of them is leaving on May 10. It's really sad to see a friend leave the country, especially since you can't be sure if you'll see her again.
One of her close friends asked me to make a letter for her. And I'd like to share that letter to you. Here it is:

Dear Diane,

Time flies so fast, right? I can't believe that it's May. I'm partly excited on May. The Mothers' Day celebration, the election (just excited about the results, not the election in general). But I'm also upset that May arrived. I'm not just upset that school is coming soon, but I'm upset because you’re going to leave us already.

This wasn't the first time I had my classmate leaving the country. During Grade 1, my classmate left to Vancouver, Canada. But the way I felt at that time wasn't the way I felt now. When we were asked to make a letter for him, all I wrote were just questions on how he can describe Canada if he were there. But I can't blame myself. I was just a 6-year-old kid who was new at school.

Now, I'm a teenager. I have matured not just physically but emotionally. Knowing that you will be leaving already, it makes me cry deep inside. Starting from the very hour that your plane flies away from the country, I won't be able to see you again personally. I may see your picture in Friendster or see you talking using the letters that you type in your e-mail, but that's nothing compared to seeing and chatting with you personally.

As I end this message, I thank you for being a friend to me, although I wasn't as close as Les Paul, Moe and Adrienne were to you. You were there to help us in times of need. Thank you also for the e-mails that you send to me. Although I rarely reply to your e-mails and it takes up a lot of my storage space, it makes me a bit happy knowing that you remembered me. I'll try to send some e-mails to you so that I’ll know your condition in America.

And if you STILL don't remember the website I created, here is the address: http://www.geocities.com/animefunandmore. Soon, I'll make a site for the class that you were once a part of, so that you can really feel that you are there at MMCH!

Now, it's time to end this letter, and being the "detective" that I am, I can say that your eyes are filled with tears already. Here are my final words for you: GOOD LUCK! MAY YOU HAVE A SAFE TRIP AND A BEAUTIFUL LIFE IN USA! Goodbye.

Your friend,
Jess
