BLACK EYED PEAS and ME
Hey guys! Did you know that the Black Eyed Peas are in our country right now? This is really great. Too bad they can't come to my city but at least I can see them on a variety show here.
Anyway, one of the members in this group is a Filipino! His name is Allan Pineda. He's the one on the top left side of the picture. His life story was featured in a drama show here. In his story, Allan is a Filipino adopted by an American and went with him to USA. There he was involved in dancing and singing. With his friends, they formed the Black Eyed Peas. They're popular for the song "Where Is the Love?"
Anyway, there was a text contest wherein we would guess the title of the story. If you get it right and chosen in the raffle, you win P10,000 (About US$200). Now I guessed that the title was "Jacket" but I didn't text it 'coz I didn't know what's the format. At the end of the show, I learned that I got the right guess. I was happy for being a good guesser (if that's a word). But then my bro and mom scolded me. "Why didn't you text it???? We could have been 10,000 pesos richer!!!!" All I can say to them is SORRY! :-)
By the way, I may not be online by June 7th to 14th. My mom's planning to let us have a vacation in my grandma's place, which is in another island away from home. And that place doesn't really have Internet. If it did, then it would be slow.
