THE USHER'S IN THE HOUSE! WORD!
Hey there. Still smell what The Mask is cookin'?
You know, I'm getting used to my "TEN THINGS" style of posting. So...you know the drill:
1. The Psychology Convention was great. The food was okay. (Heh! Quite odd for me to comment on the food FIRST, isn't it?) The lectures were good too, although some cultural differences and technical problems made some of the lectures a bit...well...less interesting.
2. I absolutely enjoyed being an usher. Well, 99% of me enjoyed being the usher. Greeting people, doing some behind-the-scenes stuff, being the guy that people call when there's a problem (although not in a Ghostbuster kind of way). Somehow, I kinda like that kind of job.
3. Wondering where the 1% of my love for the usher role went? Well, one of my fellow usherettes told the table of the Graduate Students to minimize their voice. Then one of them said something like "Do you know who I am? I'm Dr. BlahBlah (name withheld to keep the doctor from performing a live autopsy of my body). And then she complained aggresively to some of our staff regarding the criteria for the choosing of the not-too-interesting speaker (which made them noisy, as he/she said). My fellow usherette apologized, but she was said to have still been super-furious. Well...now you see the downside of being an usher.
4. Since this week was also Book Week, we got to have a film showing on several films like "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe", "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", and "High School Musical". I watched the 3 said films, but it was only Narnia that I got to watch in full.
5. Tonight will be Affinity II for the freshies and also Psych Night for the psychos. Hmm...which of these parties that my friends are not likely to attend should I attend? Ah, I know! NONE! The reason, aside from the fact that my friends won't be there, is because I REALLY need a rest from the busy week.
6. I signed up for the school newspaper. Tomorrow, I'll have my workshop (which is after my practice for our penitential rites). On Sunday, it will be Part 2 of the workshop. And then, I'LL RULE THE WORLD! Hehe, sorry, my crazy self couldn't resist saying it. Anyway, me being a campus journalist sounds kinda cool for me, and I hope the experience will definitely be cool.
7. I applied for a secretarial position for the university commission on elections. Later, I'll have my interview. Oh boy...
8. Uhhh...I like peanuts. I like it fried or roasted, with or without skin, salted or sugar-coated. Many people blame that for my "smart brain", as they would say.
9. Anybody here wanna join forces with me and make a Fan Manga for Christmas? I'll give you the story, and one of you will make the manga. However, the project is still temporary and I might withdraw it later. But anyway, ANY VOLUNTEERS?
10. TODAY'S SPECIAL: "Isn't the antenna the thing that you plug on the butt of the television?"
That's all for today. HAVE A NICE DAY!
