Todays most interesting events
So I started on four more manga pages, two for i.c.c. and two for m.n.a., which are coming along..um..slowly (eh heh). but don't worry, I'll probably post them in a day or two.
So other interesting tings today. I have none. My life was boring today. lol!

   B-day
So today is our hyperactive little brothers birthday. gotta love him! so we got him this cool naruto action figure that climbs trees *sweet* ^-^. his face when he got it was hilarious and he said "Is this for you or for me?" lol! no i will DEFINITLY NOT steal it *she said with a sarcastic smile*. so I probably won't be on as much because we've got the family coming over. maybe i can use this opportunity to ACCTUALLY GET MANGA PAGES DRAWN!!!! oh boy! i can feel you anticipation from here lol. ya, don't hold your breath.

   The Daily Accomplishments
Okay so accomplishment #1 is that I've been working on a new character for a while, and I finnally got her proportions down. I got all of the outfit done except for the pants and boots. any suggestions? accomplishment #2 was we finished watching episode 8 if the hana-kimi drama. but my brain is now like a vegetable lol. and the lat accomplishment was that I acctually got a harry potter montage done for my one friend at school. we have to make a business for computor class and she is my first customer. the montage turned out cool. I'd love to do a harry potter fan art one of these days.

   Contest and Other Crap
So we didn't win the tokyopop contest, but thats okay. There's always next year i guess, and we've got some pretty good ideas. It will be fun to make new characters and stuff
that was my happy, go-lucky, optimistic side
my evil, crabby grinch side says "are you kidding me! blood sweat and tears went into that freaking manga! we worked so hard! now it's all for nothing!"
however that side is the weaker voice within my head. i love drawing manga, so i'm up to the challenge of improving my skills on another one ^-^

In other news we aquirred these awesome shading pens! i think i've found my one true love *big smile*. and you when you fall in love with your tracing pens, thats when you know your a real loser lol

   HANA -KIMI TV DRAMA ^-^
So we were watching our current fav. thing to watch on youtube right now, hana-kimi drama, and it seemed like every time we got to a good part we had to get up and do some sort of chore *sigh*. It's one of the best episodes too, where the one guy tries to molest mizuki at thier summer job and Sano ( a.k.a. Hottie McStudlyhunk) romantically rushes in on his moped to save her! sigh! of course this is a tiwanese thing so the names are different. mizuki is Ru Xi or someting and Sano is Quan. But I don't really care he is ABSOLUTLEY GORGEOUS!!!!! Hes one of the only guys who seserve the name Hitie McStudlyhunk lol! and the Nakatsu character is really hot as well and so is Nanba. Umeda is hot but not even close to in the acctual manga so that is dissapointing but his character is still really cool. The other guys aren't worth mentioning and one looks like a rat lol!

There are like maybe 13-15 episodes but they are really long. my sis and i are only on episode 5. All the episodes are in tiwanese but you can get them with english subs. just look for them! We both love it!

Just felt like promoting something today lol

   Manga and Art Supplies
So yester day I acctually got two manga pages posted. i also acctually go a fan art done! Unbeleveable! and i have a ton to do yet but h well, i still feel accomplished. and i would be getting most of that done tonight but i want to watch stuff on youtube ^-^ with my sis.

and we went to this really amazing art store today! i love shopping for art stuff it's almost better than clothes shopping for me lol. like a kid in a candy store! well now i have SEVERAL tracing pens ^-^.

   I remembered my question!!!! (twin #2)
and yes i am feeling a little devilish today ^-^..i never see anyone with that little emotion much. so anyway! i remebered my question that i forgot like 2 posts down!! Does anyone know how i can find the original animation that goes with Shimauma no Yoru? It will be Ouran High. Also does anyone know the english lyrics? (besides night of the zebra...ive figured that out) Thanks a bunch!!

   Manga Procrastination
well, sadly to say for those who acctully read my fan mangas, i will get pages up but only two of them (one for each manga). so you won't get to read very far ahead for all the time you waited. sry! however, i have been working on more fan art. and i'm now considering doing a spoof manga, probably on naruto because there are so many people with totally different personalities that i can pick on. and i hate a lot of people from that manga so i will throughly enjoy making fun of them. I'll probably draw it all out first in chibi style. this is so much easier to do and it's funnier that way. i also draw chibis a lot faster than i do serious people. so if anyone has any ideas or comments let me know!

Manga editing and the weekly events- for those who care
Well, it turns out I had a lot of old pictures i drew like two years ago that inever colored so I am going to photoshop them! and I have new ones and manga pages so the work is piling up!

However, i may not get my pages posted by tonight because i have to do the final draft of my research report on Hurricane Katrina. oh joy. i'm sure you can all feel my excitement from your computors.

In other weekly events (for those who care), I did two main super special awesome things. One was we went to this old bed and breakfast mansion place with our Jane Austen Society. yes, i know I'm a geek! But we got to dress up in regency dresses, theres nothing i love more that dressing up, and got a tour of the house. It was so fun! Oh and we got the rules of conduct that Gentlemen had to follow and Ladies had to follow during that time period. I'll have to post that later ^-^

the second thing was we went bowling with our youth group. i absolutley suck at bowling and the people wouldn't allow me to have bumpers because I was TOOOOOOO OLD! So, I'm not one to brag but I bowled a perfect 26, and i didn't get one point untill my third turn. lol! as i said i can't bowl for crap!
