Kingdom Bound 2005
I'm going to Six Flags tomorrow for the Christian music festival called Kingdom Bound. I've gone several times before, it's so much fun ^^ There's gonna be a Newsboys concert that night. I doubt many of you have heard of them but they're really good. I should post some of their song lyrics sometime, they can be pretty funny ^^

I feel bad for my sister's husband because he probably won't be able to go on many rides tomorrow. I don't care for many rides myself, but he loves them. He had an accident at work (apparently a furnace fell on him O_O) and he's having a lot of trouble with his neck and upper back. Prayers for him would be highly appreciated.

The Never-Ending Series
Anyone else a fan of the Fushigi Yuugi manga? I just read volume 15 yesterday, it was so good! This one made me cry. I wish the books would come out faster, I've been reading them for close to four years now ^^;

My mom and I took our dog to the vet this morning. She's been having some problems with her ears but it's nothing too serious. She was scared to death though. She kept trying to go back out the door (and succeeded a few times, being a rather strong golden retriever ^^;). She was certainly happy when it was time to leave.

I'm finally getting somewhere on my Full Metal Panic fanart so hopefully it won't be to much longer. Ja mata!

I'm Back
The trip was great! I just love Cedarville ^_^ I'm pretty sure that's where I'm going to go to college. I wish it was closer though, it's about 6 hours away. It was so hot the day we went. The heat index was over 100 O_O I was very thankful for the air conditioned buildings that day ^^; They said that was probably the hottest day of the year.

I got to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory while I was out there too. It was very good ^^

Cedarville
If you missed the last post I put up some pictures from my sister's wedding if you would like to see them. My apologies if I was confusing, she was the one who got married, not me ^^;

My dad's birthday was yesterday and we're having a party for him today. I also need to start packing because we're leaving to go to Ohio tomorrow. I'll be back Monday night, we're just going out to visit Cedarville University. I can't wait to go back, I just love it there ^^

Anyone heard of a movie called "Field of Dreams"? My dad found it at a garage sale this weekend and remembered how much he had liked when he saw it several years ago. We watched it last night, and it was really good. It's kinda hard to explain what it's about, but I would recommend it ^^

I have an appointment about my wisdom teeth today and I'll probably find out when they need to be taken out. I hope it isn't too soon, I'm really not looking forward to it >.< Other than that it's just the usual today. I'll try to get moving on my fanart, I think I'm getting lazy again ^^;

Ashville Days
My apologies for not updating yesterday, I was out visiting Houghton College. It was really nice there and the campus was beautiful. At the moment, Cedarville still seems to be my favorite, but I could end up going to either one. We stopped at a state park on the way home that had these beautiful waterfalls. It was so nice ^^

My sister and her husband made it back last night from their honeymoon in the Bahamas! She told us all about it today, sounds like they had a great time. As for the post title, today is like a local holiday that our town celebrates every year. There was a parade this morning and people set up yard sales everywhere. I found some nice Japanese stuff at one of them ^^ There's always a great fireworks display at night. I hear some thunder right now though so I hope they aren't cancelled.

Things have been really busy over here lately but I'll try to get working some more on my Sousuke/Kaname fanart. It looks really cute so far ^^ Guess I should stop ranting now. Ja mata!

Boat
My aunt, uncle, and cousins are going back to North Carolina today. We all went out in the boat last night, and my other uncle brought his boat out as well. He was out on a scurfer board and came right next to our boat, getting us all completely soaked. In was really funny ^^ He showed us a bunch of pictures he took at the wedding last night too. They were all so nice! He'll probably send them all to us soon. We'll probably get the ones from the wedding photographer before long too. I'll try not to go picture crazy, you probably don't want to see too many ^^;

I finished Full Metal Panic yesterday! It was such a great series ^^ Now I want to get Fumoffu lol. I started my next fanart yesterday, and I have decided to try drawing Kaname and Sousuke. I hope it turns out all right ^^;

Congratulations Erin and Matt!
The wedding went so well! I don't think it could've gone much better. My sister said she didn't get nervous at all. I did when I had to walk down the aisle, but then I never was good in front of people ^^; The ceremony was great though, and then we had to take pictures afterwards. We should have them in about a week, but the photographer got us a few early. Here's one of them:

My sister is the bride of course. Doesn't she look great? ^_^ Her new husband is to the right, next to my dad. That's me on her other side by my mom. Just as a side note, I almost never wear my hair up because it's so long so I don't usually look like that. I had to pull 97 bobby pins out of my hair that night. Ugh >.<

Well after a nice ride in the limo that we managed to squeeze 10 people into we went to the reception. Everything went great there too. But they made me dance O_O I'm 17 and I just had my first slow dance. Pathetic, ne? =P Needless to say we were all dead yesterday after having to clean up the reception hall after already having a busy day, but it was worth it. My sister and my new brother-in-law are now in the Bahamas on their honeymoon. I hope hurricane Dennis leaves them alone ^^; She called when they got there yesterday and said it was really nice so hopefully it will stay that way.

Wedding Day
Today's the big day for my sister! We were so busy setting up yesterday that I didn't have time to visit anyone ;_; Sorry! I probably won't be able to today either, but I'll catch up on Sunday.

It took over three hours to set up for the reception yesterday, even though we had a bunch of people helping us. The rehersal was so much fun last night! Everyone was joking around the whole time. My dad took a wheelchair out of the closet and went down the aile in it with my sister, it was hilarious XD My uncle got a picture of it, I'll have to see if I can get a hold of it to show you.

I'd best end this soon so I can finish getting ready. The wedding starts at 3:00 but we have to be there a few hours early. I'm starting to get nervous lol. I've mentioned this before but I'm the maid of honor. If I'm nervous I wonder how my sister feels ^^; Say a quick prayer for us today if you think of it, it will be appreciated ^^
