Christmas
Ohayo! So, how was your Christmas? Mine was really nice. On Christmas Eve I celebrated with my dad's side of the family and then went to a candel-light service at my church. Then on Christmas day I celebrated with my mom's side of the family after going to church. It was a lot of fun, and it was really nice to see everyone again.

I got Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance! I can't wait to play it, it looks so awesome ^__^ Let's see, some other things I got are CDs, DVDs, a book (Neverwhere - it rocks), Inuyasha & Fruits Basket calendars, and some other stuff.

Christmas is Coming

Thanks to captainfirelily, inuyasha311, Night shade2, and Yuna 2004 for the wonderful Christmas cards! ^_^

Today is my first official day of Christmas break. It felt so nice to sleep in for a change ^^ My aunt, uncle, and cousin's should be arriving sometime today from North Carolina. I'm really excited to see them. I posted a new fanart this morning so give it a look if you have a chance. It's a picture of Alexis from Yu-Gi-Oh GX that I drew for one of my friends.

I'll probably post again tomorrow or Sunday, but if not, have a very merry Christmas! ^_^

Just four more days...
Well, I managed to make it through my busy week. And the best part is there are only 4 more school days left until Christmas break! ^___^ Other than the Physics test on Wednesday (¬_¬), our teachers will probably go pretty easy on us too.

I'm just 2 visits away from 1700, so thanks very much to everyone who's visited me! I decided to change my site theme a little last night since Christmas is coming right up. The picture in the intro is one I drew and then used the "hot wax coating" effect on Paint Shop Pro. I think it turned out pretty cute ^^

Chronicles of Narnia
The birthday party went really well last week. I'm really glad I got a digital camera. Also, my friend gave me her gamecube because she wasn't using it anymore. Now I can't wait to get Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. That game looks so awesome! Among other things, I also got the Chronicles of Narnia books, and I just got to see the movie yesterday. It was so good! I love how it ties in with the story of salvation from the Bible. The visual effects were very impressive, especially with Aslan. I highly recommend this movie, it was excellent ^^

Unfortunately I found some bad news when we went out to Erie yesterday. The Media Play there is going to be closing, though I don't know when. It makes me mad though because that's my favorite store and one of the few places where I can buy anime merchandise.

Sorry if I didn't get to a lot of your sites this week, I was having a hard time getting them to load. It seems to be working now though. Well, Id better get going. I've got a very busy week ahead of me -_- Ja ne!

Birthdays

My birthday's tomorrow! My grandma's birthday is on the same day, and my brother-in-law's birthday was just a few days ago, so we're having a party for all three of us tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it ^^

We got tons of snow here yesterday. I really can't believe school wasn't cancelled, the roads were really bad. I heard a school bus went in a ditch somewhere. When I was walking up my driveway after school, the snow was almost up to my knees. It's far too cold for my liking, but it's pretty anyway ^_^;

To a Wonderful Person
So, how was your Thanksgiving? Mine was alright, but unfortunately I have some bad news. My great-great aunt passed away at about 10:30pm Thursday night. She had gone to the hospital on Tuesday because she was having a hard time breathing and walking, but she was getting better and it seemed like she was going to be okay. She was 95 years old. Her sister is 94 and is still alive. I'm sure this is really hard on her. My aunt was a really great person and was close to everyone in my family. I'm going to miss her a lot, but I can take comfort in the fact that she's in Heaven now.

Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving! I'll be leaving in about an hour to go to my grandparent's house for our usual Thanksgiving dinner. It's so much fun, and the food is so good ^^ I hope we don't get snowed it though, it looks more like Christmas than Thanksgiving right now ^^; What are your plans for today?

I got to see Harry Potter Tuesday night. It was so good! I think it's my favorite of the 4 movies. Of course the book was much better and had a lot more to it, but that's to be expected. It was a great movie and I'm hoping I'll be able to see it again while it's still in theaters.

New Puppy!
My sister and her husband brought home a pug puppy Friday night! I got to see him yesterday morning, he's so cute ^^ As soon as I sat down he crawled into my lap and fell alseep XD They named him Charlie. Their kittens get along with him really well too. I can tell I'll be making lots of excuses to go visit my sister now lol.

The drama club performances went really well. It was fun, but I'm glad it's over now. Staying after school that much gets to be a pain ^^; Well, I was experimenting in Paint Shop and made the Dark banner that's in my profile, so I decided to change my whole site since it's been the same for so long. How's it look?

Drama Play
Tonight is the first showing of the drama club play, "Romeo and Juliet...and Hamlet too!" There are two showings tomorrow too. I'm a prompter so I just sit behind a curtain the whole time and give people lines if they forget them. It's fun though, and the play's really funny so I don't get tired of hearing it over and over again.

Harry Potter 4 came out today! I'm dying to see it but I'll probably have to wait until next weekend -_- I might be able to go on one of my days off shcool though. I get a 5 day weekend because of Thanksgiving.

Aida

Aida was so good! I was very impressed by everyone who was in it. The singing, dancing, and orchestra music were all excellent. The musical takes place in Egypt, making for some very cool costumes too. I'm gonna have to get the soundtrack now 'cause I can't get the songs out of my head ^_^

I went to see Chicken Little yesterday. It was a really cute movie and some really funny parts. Then there was a Thanksgiving dinner at my church last night that my family goes to every year. The food is always so good ^^ It's hard to believe we're getting so close to Thanksgiving already. Maybe it's just me, but this year seems to be going by really fast.

My friend (darkfig) is coming over today to watch Star Wars, and she should be here pretty soon so I'd better get going. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! ^_^
