Advent Children / Camp Raphayada
Wow, thanks so much for all the votes and comments on my latest fanart! I really appreciate it ^_^ And Shinkiro, I'd be more than happy to draw a picture of Axel for ya. It'll probably be a while before I have time to, but I will do it!
I finally got to see Advent Children! As expected, the animation was just fantastic. I actually haven't played FF VII (yes, feel free to throw large objects at me for that one), but I knew enough about it and the characters to still get a lot out of the movie. I just love all of the characters, especially Sephiroth and Vincent ^.^ I thought Reno and Rude were hilarious. I'll have to watch it again soon so I can see the Japanese version.
And now, speaking of Japan, I'd like to tell you a little about the Missions trip! I don't know many details about it myself yet, so this will be pretty general. We'll be flying into Nagoya, Japan, on July 25, and then heading up to an area around Seki where Camp Raphayada is located. It is a Christian camp for Japanese children that is run by the Melton's, a missionary family that is supported by our church. Our group will help finish construction and preparation of the camp for the first five days, and then work with the staff the next week when the camp is in session. We will also be attending and helping with some church services and youth groups while we are there. There's another meeting about the trip tomorrow, so hopefully I'll learn some more of the details then. I still can't believe I'm really going! I can't wait ^__^
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
