.:TheMeetingGround:. .: The Meeting Ground :. Hello people. I guess that todays verse is Psalms 121: 1,2-" I will lift up my eyes to the hills From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made the Heavan and Earth." What I think it means is that when you need help always look to God. I mean when like someone is persecuting you, always look to the sky and pray to go to help you. Okay todays song is another one from Casting Crowns. It goes along with this verse. It is Praise you in this Storm by Casting Crowns. It is Matthew 16:24,25 Then Jesus said to His Disciples," If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." What that basically says is that if you want to find Christ you should get ride of your old ways like if you do drugs or something you should get rid of all of that. Then if verse 25 it means that is you do not care for any body but yourself you will lose your life but then if you like die for Christ's sake you will find eternal Life. Here is a song for yal!    Hello.

.:TheMeetingGround:. Hello everyone. I am Jesus Freak. Sevy said I could take over on the Meeting Ground. Ummmm lets see..... Philippians 4:13- "I can do all thinks through Christ who strengthans me." This Verse basically means that evan though everything thing has gone wrong you can always know that you have the strenth of God with you and he will help you through it nomatter what it is. I guess you can say that I am the new Co-Founder I guess. I just want you all to know I am going to try to be here everytime I can. I am ging to try to have a song up every time too so here is Voice of Truth by Casting Crowns. Oh what I would do to have The kind of faith it takes to climb out of this boat I'm in Onto the crashing waves To step out of my comfort zone Into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is And He's holding out his hand. But the waves are calling out my name and they laugh at me Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed The waves they keep on telling me Time and time again "Boy, you'll never win!" .:TheMeetingGround:. ChristianOtaku: Hello everybody, I'm sorry if I didn't post the verse of the week last week T^T But I'll do it today! Huzzah! So here it is: Eccleasiastes 12:14= "For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, wether it is good or evil." Wich means that, basically, God knows if you're good or bad and he knows everything so don't get on his bad side!! So it doesn't matter if you're good or bad but he'll be hard on all of us!!! Well, I hope I did good and well, see you guys in 2 weeks.

Done by ChristianOtaku (who is finally taking responsability for this place XP): " The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline" Proverbs1:7 Spanish translation ('cause I can): " El principio de la sabiduría es el temor a Jehová; Los insensatos desprecian la sabiduría y la enseñanza" That means that if you respect The Lord that is the beginning of wisdom and understanding, but fools (stupid people) hate wisdom and discipline, thusly hating God. verse of the week august 21-28

.:TheMeetingGround:. gomen!! i forgot to post yesterday. first off, i would like to thank everyone who kept my friend in their prayers- the group came back safely and had a good experiance. okay, now for the verse of the week: this weeks verse comes from John 4:14 "but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." these are the words of Jesus. in this ,saying, whoever drinks the water- which refers to him and his grace. drink from the Lord's fountain, and he will lift you up and fill you with joy and peace. through God's grace we are granted eternal life- but we must first drink from his fountain. let God bless you today with his water of life as we travel down the road of life. verse of the week: august 14-20

.:TheMeetingGround:. anosa anosa!!! welcome these two new friends to themeetingground: maiden of life and naruto this weeks verse comes to us from Ecclesiastes 9:18 "Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good." and what can we get out of this weeks verse? well- it's pretty self explanatory. it is better to talk things out with wisdom than to start a fight over it. and the second part- one sinner destroys much good. also very self explanitory. one flaw can destroy a plan. one fault can change the way you live your life. mind you- this doesn't mean that our lives are completely ruined because of sin. if you trust in Jesus, he will carry you through. .:TheMeetingGround:. this weeks verse comes to us from James 2:17 "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." what can we get from this verse? in today's world, people say they have faith. that may be so, but where is the action? why don't they pray? act on your faith, do as God asks! go out into this big-ol' world and follow the command he has given us! this will be hard for some people. but- if you have faith, show it in the deeds you do! because faith without action is dead. if you don't act on your faith, what faith do you have? .:TheMeetingGround:. this week's verse is found in Proverbs 18:10 "the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe" what can we conclude about this verse? God is our strength. he is out strong tower- our protection- our sheild. when you are weak, or scared, or don't know where to go- when you are lost, alone, and can't find a place to stay- run into His arms.
