verse of the week: august 14-20

anosa anosa!!! welcome these two new friends to themeetingground: maiden of life and naruto
this weeks verse comes to us from Ecclesiastes 9:18
"Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good."
and what can we get out of this weeks verse? well- it's pretty self explanatory. it is better to talk things out with wisdom than to start a fight over it. and the second part- one sinner destroys much good. also very self explanitory. one flaw can destroy a plan. one fault can change the way you live your life. mind you- this doesn't mean that our lives are completely ruined because of sin. if you trust in Jesus, he will carry you through. God will give you the wisdom needed to avert our 'wars' and the selfcontrol to keep us pure. and when we fail, we can run back to him and he will forgive us
