i won't be on as often anymore, but here are two rants! (sorry it's long)
i'm going to ask yhou to help me with someting: theotaku, xanga, and deviantart have been taking up a lot of time out of my schedule for doing things that i both want and need to do. i've kind of become "addicted" to it in a way, and i want to get my life back. i've unconscioulsy spent whole morings/days on them without realizing it. i want to draw and do all this other stuff, but every time i pass the computer room, i wonder if anyone's commented/updated, etc, and i feel really out of the loop if i don't go on for a day or so, even though it's normal to not be on for a week or so. i love all these sites dearly, but i never feel like i'm accomplishing anything. i've tried spending one whole day/morning devoted to catching up on them and then seeing if i can go the next few days without going on, but then the next day i decide to check if anyone said anything. so what i'm going to do, starting now, is spend one day a week on each site - monday (hopefully, these days may be switched around depending on my schedule) for xanga only, tuesday for theotaku, and wednesday for deviantart. this way i can at least accomplish something more in each day. if you catch me on any of these sites commenting, posting, etc. more than once a week, please tell me. it;s not enough for my own mind to tell me to get off anymore. thanks! and now for the rants!
why short people are violent (aka the teddybear rant): so many people come up to me and say stuff like "wow, you're really violent for a short person!" did you just call me short? i'll smash your face in!!!! short people have to be violent, otherwise you get the "teddybear" effect: "oh, you're so short and cute, i'd just love to give you a big hug and treat you like a little kid. you're so cute, you remeind me of a teddybear!" do i LOOK like a freaking teddybear to you? how would you like teddybear to chew your arm off! see? you can see the effects of it already. short people have to be violent. do you think that porcupines want to be spiny? nope! but if they weren't spiny, everyone would be giving them big hugs and bigger animals would be taking advanage of them. and, unfortunetly, short people don't have spikes (although that would be really fun!), so, naturally, short people are violent and defensive. so tall people beware!! short people will take over the world...muahahahahahaahahaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. and not with a teddybear army either!!!!
the complete fashion rant (you had part of this before, but this is the complete version): i'm so sick of all this fashion stuff. fashion is never staying the same. "vintage is in" oh cool! now i can wear all the ratty jeans that i previousl couldn't wear and get away with wearing comfy clothes all the time. "vintage is out" ah screw you! i'm wearing vintage anyway! it'll be back in in five seconds, anyway! then they start doing this thing with really bland shirts, pants, and shoes - they line them with a really awesome fabric. so i walk up to the shoe section and see this shoe that is this dark blue on the outside and has a really cool green stripe pattern on the inside. cool! i think. i put them on and HOLY CRAP!!!! WHERE THE HECK DID THESE UGLY THINGS COME FROM!!! WHERE'S MY GREEN STRIPE PATTERN!!!!!! and the same with the pants and the shirts. what's the point of having a cool pattern on the inside? i've been so tempted to buy those things anyway jsut to rip the cool fabric out. stupid fashon designers. then they're always saying "__is the new__" for example, "brown is the new black". no. black is black, brown is brown. black is hte color of the night sky, brown is the color of crap. granted, not all brown is bad, but it's not the same as black. two completely different colors. and brown definitely can't replace black in the "former" color combos. i'm sorry, but brown and pink doesn't look as good as black and pink or black and green or black and blue...black matches everything. brown does not. end of story. and pink will never be the new black!!! darth vader does not wear pink. end of story. skirts will never be the new jeans. skirts are girly, jeans are not. jeans last for a long time...skirts don't (unless yo're like me and never wear the ones you have). skirts fly up in the wind, jeans don't. jeans protect you against the cold and wind, skirts don't. jeans just plain rule! and skirts don't. end of story. and this is the end of the rant. now go do something productive!
